Amazing! Everyone was super helpful at the office, and the maintenance people were extremely fast and accommodating. We wanted to move in that day, and that day the maintenance man, Leo, was able to fix everything up very quickly and efficiently!

Safety in our unit has been greatly impacted by how downhill it has been allowed to get. We have been here 6 years without any problems until now. Sadly lost good tenants only to keep horrible ones who compromise our safety and well being. I have had to start therapy and considering leaving as well. The safety of my family is much more important!

I think her name was Andrea she was very nice and helpful. The turn over is quite high but she is awesome she worked on 2/25. She helped when they plastered ceiling and listen and took care of needs. I appreciate you. Thank you for doing a great job.

The apartment is in a good location and most of the buildings are far enough from the road so there's not much noise. The staff are great and very helpful with everything. I've never had any problems with any of my neighbors.

Absolutely horrible
Where to start? We lived there for 6 months and it was the most horrible renting experience I have ever had. 1. Our garage was burglarized- the front office initially stated that our lease only allows for vehicles to be kept in the garage and suggested housing tools, etc. was unreasonable. They offered no other recourse. 2. Our apartment was infested with mice in the early-middle of December. I rented a hotel room because I refused to stay in an apartment that had mice crawling in the kitchen and they refused to reimburse my expenses. I notified them on a Tuesday night, maintenance showed up immediately and laid down multiple traps. I went to the office Wednesday — they said they’d get the pest control company out the following Tuesday. After some back and forth, pest control did come out that day and set over 20 traps around the apartment. He also sealed the space under the sink where he believed the mice were coming in from. Mice were still getting in. Avana refused to rehome us or pay for our hotel bills despite this- they expected us to live in a space filled with mice. So we were stuck making sure our dog didn’t step on any of the 20 something traps laid down for weeks. And in addition to the hotel costs, we had to throw out the food in pantry. 3. Our neighbors were awful. They partied/blasted music multiple times a week to the point of the light fixtures in our unit visibly shaking. We tried every recourse possible and they still constantly partied. 4. The complex felt very unsafe. Because of the neighbors and our garage getting burglarized, we set up a security camera — we caught video of a man approaching our patio door at 2 am until he saw the camera. Police were frequently at the complex - sometimes up to 6 squad cars at a time. 5. Our master bedroom carpet would get soaked every time we ran the air conditioning unit. Fighting the water and the mold should’ve been my first sign to leave. 6. Initially, we received a request for nearly $250 in move-out utilities from Greystar. After reaching out to avana, they updated the utility bill. The only good thing about that place is the maintenance response and the front office waiving our move out fee. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. As a result of us living there, we lost thousands of dollars in replacing burglarized items, extra security measures, hotel fees, replacing the food in the pantry, and now costs to move AGAIN.

Started out great, but rent has increased by $450 to $500 in the last 2 years and will increase again if I renew my lease. There's dog crap all over the complex, even on the sidewalk and there's nothing you can do about it. It's just horrible.

Overall I'm happy in this community. The dog waste has become a problem more recently. I was also bothered that I had to pay lawyer fees when I missed 1 months rent. (But caught up the very next month and that month on time).

It's been good. If I've had issues with neighbors it has been addressed quickly and effectively. Maintenance has always been fantastic. They answer quickly, do a great job with repairs. Lisa at the office has always been great and went above and beyond to help me

Aside from maintenance being an ongoing issue, the added bill just to do laundry and the dog stool being left on grass, we actually enjoy living here. The mail room is a little chaotic and so I don’t get packages sent here as anyone came grab it. The apartment is nice and comfortable and spacious.

Lot of leaks, floors are warped house smells like a dirty ashtray from other people smoking water pressure sucks no hot water parking is really bad. Going to be charge now more for parking and when we have to park far away living here is hell.

Very quiet and peaceful. The maintenance come right when we have a issue. I like how when we have a question they get back right away. The one thing I’d say might be a issue is the poop in the grass in areas of walking some residents don’t know how to clean up after there pets.

It is a clean place and with very friendly staff, the only problem and for which I put some but it is the external staff in charge of the remodeling of the apartments, they do a very bad job and also very slow… That can be a big problem to have your apartment on time and ready. Not to mention this, I think it's a quiet and beautiful place to live.

I love living here I haven’t had any problems with anyone it’s nice calm area only thing I wish that people didn’t smoke on there porch because if you live on the third floor all the smoke goes up to your balcony but other then that it’s a great place to live .

I have been a resident for 8 months and found the staff to be very nice. The maintenance team is quick to resolve any issues. I have no complaints and love the area.They have resident activities that are fun and try really hard to make you feel like you belong over and beyond your typical apartment complex. I would definitely recommend to friends.

I love the friendly neighbors, I love my apartment , it’s very spacious and comfortable. I love that the hot tub is open year round too! The staff and maintenance team have been very quick with receiving my emails about things needing to be fixed and have been super respectful and kind!

Everything has been great at these apartments. The only downside is there is always a lot of dog poop found on the grass areas, people don’t pick up after their dogs! They should implement the dog poop DNA testing so people can finally start picking up after their dogs.

The community is quiet for the most part but the walls are so thin that I can hear everything that does in in my neighbor’s unit. The grounds are well kept as far as landscaping goes but people don’t clean up after their pets so there is dog poop everywhere. As far as safety goes, I have never had any issues. There is supposed to be security here but I have never seen them. My main complaint is maintenance. My microwave has not worked for 2 weeks now and my air conditioner has been working off and on since I moved in. It is way too hot outside to have an air conditioner that works when it wants. To be fair, an email was sent advising they are short staffed but when you pay to live somewhere you expect everything to work. Especially a microwave and air conditioner.

My wife and I moved in before current management (Bobby+team), and I couldn't be more grateful. Bobby and his team make us feel like we belong here. Just to give you a time-line, we moved in July 3, 2021, and today is July 23... We don't speak down on anyone in our home, even if it's of importance, HOWEVER, Bobby and his team bring sparkles to my eyes. Words can't express how prompt, fast, fun & friendly, and ready-to-go, they are, and we love it!!! They make us feel like we belong here, and we couldn't be more grateful- THANK YOU AVANA!

The complex isn’t worth what it costs to rent an apartment. Not safe, or secure. Poorly maintained and grounds maintenance issues take years to be resolved. The complex is not secure. Car brake ins and garage breaks ins are very common

Love living here! The office staff are so kind and helpful. My apartment is beautiful. Would recommend to friends Im very thankful to live in such a well kept well staffed community. Cant wait for our newly remodeled pool area to open.

Overall, I feel very safe here. I am in the very back of the complex and I'm not sure if there are any security issues closer to the front, but we have great access to the open space, the team here is super helpful and friendly, and it has been a very pleasant experience to live here.

My experience with Avana Thornton has been great. Great management team, painless leasing process and moving in was a breeze. The environment feels safe and friendly. We haven't lived there long enough to experience the pool and summer activities yet, but look forward to spending a lot of time outside.

Avana Thornton Station is a great place to live with lots of amentities and management that gets problems fixed quickly! The staff was very friendly and helped me get moved in when I was brand new to the apartment application process. I would highly recommend checking out this apartment complex.
