Poor management, poor maintanence, out dated appliances, damaged and crumbling hot tub and pool, not resort style ammenities like implied. Maintenance marked jobs completed when they hadn't even begun. Perfect rental history with one bad month and they still hit me with hundred of dollars in fees and a lawyer charge for court EVEN though I was in contact with them and tried pay something towards my rent. It was all or nothing they would not work with me AT ALL and this all happened so to a death in the family that they did not care about at all.

To reiterate what others have said, this place is OK in terms of the units and the property. However, management is terrible. With no notice, they sprung a $30 parking fee on us in the middle of our lease, and when one of the tenants attempted to get everyone together to resist this fee, he was fined $250. Now they are attempting to evict me because they say my female boxer mix looks like a putbull. They approved her 8 months ago after I gave them two pictures and vet papers which clearly state that she is a boxer mix. I just called to talk to them about it, as the only notice they gave me was a letter on my door yesterday, and they told me they would call me back because management is in a meeting. This place is a joke. Please do not rent here.

My husband and I applied for a 2 bedroom 2 bath...WOW! The property is gorgeous. This is a very clean community! The staff here are 2nd to none. They were knowledgeable and welcoming. I truly feel at home here. Thanks Elena for being so awesome!

My wife and I have only lived here for about 6 months but so far it has been an amazing experience. Every issue we've had has been resolved quickly and without a hassle from the staff. Anytime we've had to visit the office staff they have been friendly and helpful and the maintenance staff are always attentive and efficient. Beautiful property and apartments and excellent service provided by the staff all add up to a wonderful place to live and I would recommend it very highly. (Side note: The question about noise is poorly worded and hard to answer accurately with star rating system. I cannot hear my neighbors save very rarely.)

The apartments themselves are nice, but almost everything else is lacking. Here are my qualms with Champions Park: - It is on the pricier side of apartments for this area, yet management does not care for the property as I would expect for the amount of rent I pay. They never pre-salt sidewalks or stair cases, so if snow hits you can expect to nearly kill yourself going downstairs. The gym was closed for weeks for "rennovation", but no new equipment was installed and the TV's still do not work. Also, they have the heater set at 74 (!!!!) in the gym. It's like working out in a sauna - with crappy equipment. - Management/office staff are not the friendliest. We went in to rent a garage and the lady asked if she could "call us back later". We specifically waited until Saturday to go in because we'd already called and they told us to come in. We told them no, we came in to get this taken care of now and the lady responded "Well it's really busy right now". There was only one other person waiting for help and two staff members in the office ... - Most of the neighbors are okay, but some in our building are absolutely disrespectful and noisy. The police were called on one neighbor after a huge fight broke out at 3 a.m. This isn't the first time this has happened... yet these neighbors are still living here and making a racket. - PARKING FEES. The management decided to make everyone + guests pay for parking recently. They threw this at residents with no notice, no consensus, and in the middle of our lease. Parking has never been a problem around our building, so I have no idea why they'd just add this in other than to make a profit for themselves. We emailed to complain and ask for explanation, but received no response. A neighbor of ours started a petition against this and was fined $ what? Freedom of speech? - Maintenance is not the best. My blinds were broken and could not be opened. I submitted a maintenance request online and it took them over three - four days to come fix them, meaning I lived in the dark or with artificial light all week (which sucks when you work from home). - Washers/Dryers are old. It's nice to have them IN the our dryer isn't great and needs to run at least two - three times before clothes are dry. - Wonderful grounds/pool/jacuzzi/etc. Terrible dog park. It's absolutely pointless to take your dog to their "dog park". You're better off going around the block to the Happy Tails Dog Park.

I've lived here for 4 months, I decided to move here because of the size of the units and because everything that describes this apartment complex is positive things. However for the past 4 months I've had anything but a good experience. Parking is very limited and management does not want to deal with it so subcontracted a 2nd party to charge residents for parking or you will get towed. This new change occurred in the middle of many residents lease. Management here is lazy and would rather go that route than to actually get there own parking permits and issue them to residents at no charge and limit the vehicle number per unit. When emailed they choose to ignore and not reply. Please DO NOT lease here, it won't be a good experience.

ALOT OF DOG POOP, cigarette butts, litter & disregard for property problems. Emailed requests & pictures about leaky kitchen sink, crushed roof storm drain @ the patio, 1000's of cigarette butts in my patio landscape & lawn, ALL request ignored. So far they only care about collecting rent.

the management will tow your car without and sign stating parking in this reserved spot (however doesn't say what it is reserved for and no sign on towing) The complex is loud and I ad large packages to move to the third floor and they towed my car from the complex where the rent isn't cheap............STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am filing a replevlin in the am with the courts and charging them with illegal towing, There are no signs posted in the parking lots or in the back entrance and there are handicap spots but one renter thinks the RESERVED spot is her personal handicap spot! I have her tag number and will use that as a co defendant for any damages towing fees lost wages, etc, What a way to live!!!!!!!!!

I've lived here going on 3 years and I can honestly say its pretty quiet and for the most part very clean complex. The maintenance crew seem to be nice and fairly quick when I've needed them to come and repair or fix things in my apartment. The manager is Skye and she's been pretty good about responding to any issues or question I've had in the past and the rest of the team for that matter. So its been enjoyable so far at Champions Park

I've never paid so much to live in such crap conditions. You can hear the pipes thumping in the walls, the dryer still works like crap after three or more maintenance visits, and last night in Building 8 someone pulled a gun on some people for talking on their front porch. You could hear the round being chambered. It's horrible here and now I'm scared to live here anymore and can't afford to move.

Management is terrible, they have no time for peoples problems, my biggest complaint is the fact that every time it snows it isnt touched untill 4pm or later everytime. There are elderly people here that live on the second floor and the stairs are a major hazard since they are never cleaned. I pay way to much rent hereto have to shovel myself out of my apartment every time.

Management is unprofessional, lazy, careless, incompetent and having to live there and deal with them was so stressful and was the worse experience of my life! They lie before and upon move in about promt proper maintenance on the property and per apartment, charges to your rent, and was never helpful during any situation we experienced! The property maintenance was a joke and they did not shovel snow off stairs and walkways which was extremely dangerous, they did not repair broken appliances in a timely manner, for an example, we were without a heater for a week during winter and no working dryer for 9 days! When they cut the grass, rocks and dirt would fly and hit our cars sometimes causing damages which they say they take no responsibility for! They would take our mail or fail to issue our rent bill months at a time and they would not notify us they received our packages and would have to call to find out ourselves! They also screwed us over by denying they accepted our move out notification which required us to stay an extra month with a ridiculous rent increase! Then upon move out, didn't do a walk through but instead just asked for the keys because they were too busy!? 4 MONTHS LATER, we receive an outrageous bill/charge saying we didnt pay for our last month utility bill (which we indeed paid and shows on our bank statements) and for unexplained damages to the apt and they could not provide proof for these damages when asked! My boyfriend and I took lots of pictures for proof on the day of move out because we knew this would happen! We had a couple of friends that lived there and moved out before us that told us this exact situation happened to them and to their friends before them! These issues will continue to take place at Champions Park Apts and management is cruel, untrustworthy, and very unprofessional! I would NEVER recommend anyone to live here EVER! This place defines WORSE APTS IN CO!

We moved into champions park in July and It has truly made me really think about evaluating my next place. We've had many issues with maintenance, we put in multiple work orders for our doorbell being streamed with our neighbors and he had the nerve to come in our apartment and argue with my husband about it. The managers are very friendly and worked with us many times when funds were short which is very appreciated. We did have some issues with one of the male employees in the office who has quite the attitude but everytime I have spoke with the ladies I have been nothing but satisfied, as all apartment complexes it can't all be perfect but I am very thankful for the place we have and how well the community is maintained.

I moved into Champions Park with my girlfriend about 10 months ago, and do not intend to renew the lease. The office staff is a bit of a mixed review, as a few of the managers are very friendly and proactive, but the rest don't seem to care if you're standing right in front of them. The grounds and general appearance are actually fairly well maintained. Like all places, there will be some neighbors that trash out their apartment, but overall the place is kept up with well. On the note of maintenance though, we have run into several issues. Our HVAC system started leaking, so we put in a work request immediately; a maintenance crew arrived within a day, but then tried to blame us for not calling in the issue earlier. Better yet, they somehow damaged the heating system and never repaired it - the apartment still has no heat to this day. The largest complaint we have is the general community. Thornton is becoming more and more of a crime center. You can drive through the complex and see more cars likely to be involved in drug trafficking than an impound lot. Somehow all of the "low-riders" still make it over the atrociously massive speed bumps. Many areas constantly reek of marijuana, and the noise levels can be astounding at times. The surrounding area is not much better, including the entire 104th Avenue. Just a few days ago, my girlfriend asked me how I felt about moving, because she literally didn't feel safe inside her own home. For a place that claims to be and charges for luxury apartments, I feel more like I'm living in downtown Detroit. If you value your safety and want a comfortable place to live, look outside of the entire Thornton area.

We moved in to Champions Park about 5-6 months ago and could not be happier! The apartment is wonderful, the property is always clean and looking beauriful, but the best part would have to be the staff. Ive lived in many apartments and Ive never dealt with a staff as great as the staff here. I have had a few minor maintenance issues and they have all been handled the same day including getting a new dishwasher installed. The maintenance staff is very professional, helpful, they always answers any questions that ive had and even if im in the apartment when they do the work they always leave a copy of the work order with detailed notes telling what they did to resolve the issue. Also, the office staff is wonderful. They are always willing to help, they never make me feel as if im bothering them and there was a time when i had an issue and it was closing time but they still took the time to help me and didnt make me feel as though they were in a hurry. One other thing that i love is that the property manager is always present. Any other apartment that ive lived at the manager is never available. She is always availavle for calls, she never puts her residents needs aside and unlike many managers, she is always actually at work which is refreshing! So needless to say, Champions Park is a GREAT place to live...worth every penny!! I will continue to refer this place to others, even when i no longer live here.

If I could add picture, because it's worth the 1000 words. I've lived here for 3 years without complaining. Until know! For 3 Years I've shoveled snow off the stairs, I've fallen plenty of times and complained. You can't walk on the grass there's dog poop everywhere. Broken down cars do NOT get towed or moved. And the birds attack because they nest there. Here's to luxury living.

Please do not move into these apartments. The people in the office are shady, they will charge you whatever they feel like, especially if you have any kind of credit on your account. They make up charges so that you can't claim a credit (even if it's less than $10, pathetic). Instead of fixing our heater that had frozen pipes, they stuck a bucket under to catch the water from the drain. What?? And they don't treat their residents the same. If they like you, you're gold. If they don't like you, you're up s*** creek. They claim to treat every resident equally but I proved to the manager herself that they don't. Plus their apartments are waaaaaaaay overpriced. Save yourself a huge headache and move somewhere else. You'll regret it if you move to Champions Park.

These apartments are beautiful! We got a 2bdrm, 2 bath and feel like we are living in a house! The movie theatre (reserve for free!) is such a great addition. The 4 out of 5 stars for "Noise" is only because of some noisy cars buzzing by the apartment--no noise from other apartments heard at all. Christina in the office has been great to work with (as well as everyone else) and Victor from maintenance was courteous and professional. I would recommend it!

Worst place ever!!!! The staff is nice once you sign the lease and then it's a total rip off!! They don't return phone calls ever. My fianc lives there and had called quite a few times and never a return phone call from them. They must screen calls or something because everytime we have tried calling during business hours knowing that someone should be in the office, no one answers. We had to fly out of town for a family emergency and my fianc had called to let them know that we would send them rent via cc over the phone, next thing we know we get a call from the sheriff that all of our stuff is thrown outside and half our stuff missing!!! Rent is ridiculous and so is the staff!!! No common courtesy what so ever!!!

Our apartment flooded twice in one day. They didn't have the tools to fix the situation so we had to wait an extra day without being able to use the water in the kitchen (sink and dishwasher) while our apartment continued to flood. Instead of coming in and fixing the carpet, they had an outside company come in and leave a loud shop fan blowing on the floor for over two days. No attempt has been made to even try to help pay for the electric bill that we will have to sustain because their incompetent building layouts. Two days after our apartment flooded twice our hot water heater broke in the middle of the night so we were unable to take showers. Maintenance fixed both problems but management has as of yet not returned any sort of phone call or contact. We have emailed, called, and even stopped in to the clubhouse to talk to managers but were told they were too busy to talk at the moment and after two weeks have still not returned phone calls. To top it all off the neighbors throw constant parties and are incredibly loud. When trying to contact management about this problem once, they said "It's part of living in an apartment community." The second time we contacted them they ignored us. The third time we contacted them, they ignored us again. The sign to the community says "luxury apartments" but this is a far cry from that. I would definitely consider looking elsewhere.

Update: I've had to change my score on this place. The new ownership did not just get rid of the best staff ever, they've replaced it with the worst staff possible! Since June we've had 2 managers, neither of which seem to care when you go in the office. This new one, --- actually closed her door when I came in, leaving me to wait as all of her staff were out on tours with new potential residents. My bank made an error, they sent a letter to the manager taking full responsibility (how often does a bank do that) and they still charged me fees, just not all of them. I rented our theater room and they couldn't get an access code to work so they had to prop the door open with an ashtray which means we couldn't hear the movie over the pool splashing unless we turned it up very very loud, which led to curious swimmers trying to crash our movie. There have been rats in the dumpsters as of late, and a poison they are using leaves them half dead in our parking lot, I asked if it will hurt animals and in so many words --- said she didn't know and we shouldn't have animals unattended, like it's not my right to know. And the piece de resistance, I took 2 of my kids cubscout friends swimming here and there were condoms in the pool, on the ground and in the hot tub. Like a total of 6 were found, were they used? Probably not guessing by the number but what the heck happened to this place? Even when they allowed drinking at the pool the residents we had were respectful of the communicty areas. Are they that desperate to fill this place that they are willing to risk losing their current residents? Rumor has it that ppl are threatening to leave when renewel comes up so instead of increasing rent, they are offering to lower it. You couldn't lower my rent to any amount that makes me willing to put up with all of this in only 2 months, especially when you are advertised as "luxory" apartments. No thanks, we're outta here in November.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable they try to help out with problems when possible. As someone else mentioned the grounds are beautiful but their are some people the choose not to clean up after their dogs even though there are plenty of doggie stations. I have yet to hear anything from neighbors, very quiet. Parking is first come first serve so you might not get a up close parking spot but you don't have to walk very far. I would say there is plenty of parking, it just seems the majority of people don't like walking the few extra feet. The amenities are excellent; gym, pool, hot tub, movie theatre plus others. I mention this because the other places I've lived had these but they weren't kept nice. Gym equipment broken, pool dirty. Champion Park obviously takes pride in their amenities. Maintenance is outstanding had a few issues when I first moved in and they took care of them immediately. They absolutely want to fix the problem not just put duct tape on it. The price is a little steep but I would say well worth it. For me the money is worth it, I don't feel like I'm overpaying. Note: Champions park was managed by Archstone but was taken over recently by Greystar so I don't know if they will change the way they do things or not.
