I don't live at City North but did stop by last Saturday to look at a 2 bedroom apartment. Even though website and sign in front of the office say the open is open until 5, this is simply not true. After waited around outside for 5-10 minutes as the office door was locked I was told that the office closes at 4:30 and is only open on Saturdays for administrative purposes until 5. I explained that I came all the way from Marietta to see an apartment to which I was advised I could come back tomorrow. E-mailed leasing office and management company. No response from management and a non-apologetic email from leasing staff. I was told that yes the office closes at 5 but they like potential tenants to arrive at 4:30. What a joke, I will not go back to even look at this place as if this the way management/leasing office works I'd rather spend my $1400 to $1500 a month elsewhere. Shame on City North.

I have lived here in City North for about month now and it has been awesome! Janet Cho was my leasing agent who helped me through the entire process. It was the day after Christmas and City North was the first property we have looked at during our search for a new home. At first, the initial floor plan I was interested in wasn't available so I just knew there was no point on looking any further but Janet suggested we looked at other floor plans to maybe catch our interest in something smaller, I wasn't satisfied. So we ended up looking at other properties around the area and also a property that was similar to City North. Just as soon as we found something and ready to cancel, Janet calls with greatest news! She said the floor plan we originally wanted was available due to cancellation from someone else. I was stoked! She made our day! We made our way back to City North and checked out the unit. Upgraded counter tops, upgraded carpets, upgraded bathrooms, and we were on the top floor. Couldn't ask for a better start for a new year. I love the trash valet. Very convenient. Cable and internet comes with rent along with washer and dryer in every unit, even more convenient. And I'm so close to the highways (285, 85), I can get home even faster than before. Moving in was the hardest part. We had to carry a lot things through the parking garage because there was no other way to get closer to our unit unless we climbed 4 flight of stairs. Our unit was located down the hall, around the corner and through another hall from the parking garage so you can imagine the workout we had. Once we were fully moved in, we have enjoyed all the amenities from the 24 hour gym to the resident center. I am truly happy that we were able to get what we wanted. Janet Cho was such a great help in this whole process, making sure everything was square away, making sure I had all my paperwork in line, she called me so much, she had remembered my number LOL now that's what you call a dedicated leasing agent. I have enjoyed Janet's company and will recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great home here at City North.

We have lived in CityNorth apartments for right at a month and a half. We are not from the area, and we needed to relocate for my boyfriend a more convenient commute to school and work. We had looked online for places, and found a continued trend---"Pet friendly; two pet maximum, 45 lb limit. That was not the case when we looked here! Pet friendly: Two pet limit, NO WEIGHT LIMIT. We were pretty much sold on that, as we have a 90 pound boxer and a 45 pound lab mix. Then, we read the safety and security features: gated entry, codes on doors to get in, alarm systems in the apartments. These were all super perks for us, as we didn't want to live in an unsafe place When we came in to look at apartments, it was a few days before Christmas, and we spoke to DeAndre. He was very personable and talked with us about a few concerns we had. We were in love with the place. By the time we were able to fill out an application, the two bedroom we had been looking at was sold, but Janet informed us a rare 1-bedroom floor plan had come available and was very willing to show it to us. The more we discussed it, the more we loved it. The kitchen is large, which is a great thing to us, as my boyfriend is going to culinary school. The computer desk area was centrally located, in the hallway, which is the least distracting place for it to be, we felt. The rooms are very spacious, and the bathroom has a huge mirror. The only issue we did have is that we have 4 dogs instead of the allowed 2. The manager, Alice has been very helpful in trying to find homes for them with us. We love the Valet Trash service. We love the friendly and caring staff. We love that we have an on-site gym and car washing facility (though we have yet to use either of these, we have still been trying to settle in but can't wait to try them out!) And I definitely can't wait til it gets warmer so I can sit in the lounge chairs in the shallow end of the pool! The complex is located in a good area, convenient to get to many places, and neither of us have bad issues with traffic getting to or from work or school. The first week we had an issue with our shower and put in a maintenance request, and it was taken care of within that weekend. The apartments are quiet; you can't hear anything going on above you, and for the most part can't hear anything in the hallway unless someone is yelling. I've gotten a few emails from management (That they send to the whole complex) about issues being brought to their attention, so that tells me that they make an effort to stop things things that don't need to be happening. The only issues we have found is that the garbage has to be out between 6-8, but often times the man who picks up the garbage gets here later so it could be 10:30-11 some nights before he gets around to picking it up.You can hear his cart, so if you're watching a movie or something, it can get interrupted. Another one would be the parking garage. Sometimes when you are either leaving or coming in, you have to wait several minutes to get through the parking garage gate because other residents rush right through when it opens, regardless of who pushed their gate opener. Another issue with it is that some residents go flying through the parking garage, which is kind of scary when it is full of cars and theres so many corners to go around. (I know neither of these are the faults of management). Lastly, I know there are days where the tow trucks come in and take unregistered or inoperable cars out to make room for current residents. However, there is a truck that has moved once in the month and a half we have lived here. It didn't even leave the parking deck when it did move, though, Just from one spot to another. I know it didn't leave the parking garage cuz the hood of it is covered in dust. That seems inoperable to me! I do think highly of the staff here at City North. They are super helpful when you need them and have always been professional. We are loving our experience and are confident we will continue to do so. The cost may be higher than some places, but the added security, on-site gym, and many other amenities make up the difference. I'd rather live here and pay a little extra than live somewhere else that I didn't feel safe and secure, where as a female, I wouldn't feel safe walking my dogs alone, and where amenities such as the washer, dryer, and fitness center, and "no weight restrictions" for pets weren't included.

I have lived here for a month now, and I would recommend it, it is a great place with nice amenities. The staff, De'Andre specifically, went above and beyond what was required to make sure I was happy on my move in and after, all office staff have been great. The location is also convenient to just about anything you could want.

CityNorth has a GREAT staff. They made sure my roommate and I had everything we needed. We both relocated from two different states and Janet and De'Andre made sure we had all the appropriate paperwork sealed, signed and delivered! The apartments are clean. The noise....well, I was wondering if anyone else lived on my floor. The valet trash is amazing and convenient. Whenever we had a maintenance issue, we simply submitted an online ticket and it was taken care of. Tony, Janet, De'Andre and the Maintenance Team are great! I highly recommend CityNorth. It's also near every store you can think of AND it's so convenient to both our jobs!!!! (no morning traffic for us)

City North is amazing! Janet in the office is the best thing that happened to that place. The apartments are very nice, the nicest layout i've seen for the best price for sure--believe me, I shopped around. Wasn't sure about the area at first, but after living here i've really come to like it a lot. It has it's own charm. This is the longest I've ever lived in the same apartment and I have no plans to leave!!!

I love my CityNorth Apartment and Janet Cho! My husband and I relocated to Atlanta from Chicago for a job within a very short period of time.A lot of our communication was done by phone and email. We only came into the office twice before moving in. Janet was awesome! She was not only friendly, professional and capable but had experience moving from out of state, particularly from a cold, northern state and was able to provide the extra information and comfort needed for an out of state move. I was nervous about moving into a similar floor plan without seeing the actual apartment, but without even voicing it Janet reassured me with a pcall that she had personally checked the apartment to ensure it was just right. Everything was perfect the day we moved in. We even had a better view then we expected overlooking the pool! Packages we had previously delivered were also set inside the apartment because they had been left outside our door. The valet trash is awesome, the noise is at a minimum and I often feel like I'm in a luxury hotel. Whenever there's a maintenance issue, I can submit an online ticket and it is taken care of. Janet, De'Andre, the Maintenance Team and other staff are great! I highly recommend CityNorth. It's also near every store you can think of!

Just moved into CityNorth Apartments about a month ago and I LOVE IT! My previous apartment and staff was a nightmare. I came to CityNorth frustrated and looking for help and when I tell you De'Andre was AMAZING! It is an understatement, he was personable, kind, knowledgeable and funny. He put me at ease and was so very understanding of my situation and wanted to do any and everything possible to make sure that I did not encouter the same nightmare again. De' Andre understands and listens and most importantly cares. I am able to call him and get assistance and feedback and he is never too busy to answer questions or simply help. I sincerely thank him for all that he is done for me thus far!

I First came in not believing I was going to try and rent from here but I was impressed with the complex of how clean it was and staff was very friendly. I was shown 2 different styles of apartments that fit my life style and I was blown away with the space and the knowledge that the leasing agent had known about the community and the area. I highly recommend this complex to everyone. you wont be disappointed

I moved in Oct 13' - when looking for apartment in/around ATL, my guidelines were the following: - best bang for my buck $ - lots of space - access to 285-85 so I could zip around to differnt areas of the city for work - entertainment/food/ shopping * City North hands down meet all the above! Located right off 285 (1 mile from 85) I work through Gwinett county & into the city. I can get to SnellVille, Lilburn, Lawrenceville w/in 10 minutes. Can get to DT atlanta and the Dome in less than 20. I'm from Athens & can get back home in less than an hour for GA games. * the apartment layout is fresh, granite countertops - 900 Sq feet! For 1 bedroom - all the amenities you could want (pool, gym, CPU, parking deck, security gate ect) you would pay $1,400 easy for a unit like this anywhere inside 285. The pool is very nice- not crowded. I love trying differnt food: old hickory house you can walk too-awesome. Marlows Tavern in backyard. Chipotle, panera, great Mexican, wings, WaHo, Sprig down the road is 10!, Tucker is 5 mins away & They have every thing. - target & NorthLake Mall right beside. Kroger & Publix holding it down I'm moving into a house or I would stay here without hesitation. New management staff took over lead by Alice, and they are going to get this place right. All questions/ concerns are answered - Alice is awesome! Where else can you go & speak openly with your property manager ?!?! They hold events & free dining things.. Don't be concerned about the perception of the "North Lake" area.. It is not ------, every one is very friendly & I've always felt safe here. This is coming from a regular white guy! Hah I love my neighbors and community here. You can go over pay somewhere 5 mins away/ find a studio in Buckhead, or some trendy place off PeachTree... But if your looking for the best Bang for your Buck, high quality, spacious w/ every amenity including washer/dryer, city north is the spot. It's very nice here - have access to the city/Gwinett county/ get to the airport in 30 mins , Athens in 50, right off 285 -- would love to hear another spot that can offer you the same .... And it's only getting better with new management leading the way

City North is a great place to live, the outside is very welcoming and it's the structuring that was very alluring. Once I went inside it was very tasteful. Going to view a unit was even better. Very detailed like a home, I moved into an upgraded unit which was all the more better and granite counter tops...The bathroom is to die for in the master. Only complaint is that they never answer the phone.

Tell me if im lieing!! De'Andre is wonderful, sweet, and very professional! The apartments are beautiful and its really quiet most of the time. No kids running around or people hanging out in the halls.... I really love my apart...only if it weren't for... the fire alarm which comes on all times of day and night...FOR NO REASON! not because its a fire, not because of an emergency, not because a tornado is coming, not because we need to evacuate...its malfunctioning or something...however.... I really cant take this anymore!!!...Its soo piercing, nerve racking and annoying! Picture yourself trying to sleep first thing in the morning and a loud piercing sound like a tornado is in the area wakes you, and then goes off after 10-20 minutes later....how about when your napping, late night deep sleep 2 a.m, or on the prayer line, how about watching your favorite show then doze off..i mean...all the time (once a week lately) THIS IS AWFUL! and it had all happened tome... its going off right now in my ear...im about to leave...its 10:36 am...im not even ready for the day yet....geesh!!! I got family comingf from out of town..im irritated..which im normally a really happy cheerful person... ... I told them that there was spiders in the hallway...that freaking spider made the biggest spiderweb ever...It creeped me out soo badly that i had to go to my apartment and get a broom soo i wouldn't be soo afraid to walk to my car... I also keep a bottle of insect killer on hand because what ever they use here is not keepin them away...They told me..well..its Georgia... -__- ...hugh..really...dont i pay to have this taken care of... ... So the garbage pick up is a awesome service....however..only when people don't leave their trash out all day...the hall way stinks like garbage and obviously they aren't penalizing them because its constant. The garbage also leaves spills on the floor. which you will notice as you walk down the halls. Garbage spills?! think about that and how it must smell... the person who cleans the halls does a terrible job...youll see the same paper on the ground for days even weeks...the cricket i killed 1 month ago is still in the hallway on the floor.... come by and visit more than once. take notice of this and you will see that this is the truth.... CLEAN THE FREAKIN HALLWAY! and PICK UP THE FREAKING GARBAGE>>>DONT JUST WALK PAST THE PAPER ON THE FLOOR..IF YOU PICK UP THE TRASH..THAT MEANS ALL THE PAPER ON THE FLOOR...AND IF YOU SEE A SPILL WHEN YOU TAKE THE TRASH...WHIPE IT UP...GEEESH...ITS WHAT WE LEARNED AT 5 YRS OF AGE...IT CANNOT BE THAT DIFFICULT...YALL DONE GOT ON MY NERVES!

My boyfriend and I came in City North desperate to find a place. Our cars were literally packed with our stuff. We explained the situation to De'Andre Wright in the leasing office and he was so helpful! He showed us the property, told us what to expect, what type of complaints he's experienced since he's worked there. Reassured us their were no roaches (which is why we were sleeping in hotels) or an insect problem and made us comfortable. He knew we needed a home immediately and because of him, we no longer have to rent a hotel! Proud to now have a home at City North thanks to De'Andre Wright! Erin Wheeler. New tenant

I've lived here over a year and actually love the physical apartment and the neighborhood, but if you need service you can forget about it. They are just awful. The afterhours service number has been completely useless as the place needs to be on fire before they will send somebody. My air conditioning has gone out twice since living here and both times they refused to come out even though it was 100 degree heatwave (nighttime) the first time and 90 degrees the second time. I had to sleep through the sweaty night. I have some serious breathing and health problems and the cool dry air is very helpful. I pay my rent on time, every time and play by the rules here. I expect a little better attention than this. I bet if my rent was a minute late they would come knocking and the letters would start flying. Also, the tenants with dogs do not pick up after their dogs, which is typical of apartment life. There are large piles of poo just about everywhere you walk. They have a nice, fenced off dog park but it is really just a large litter box. It is covered in dog crap, which makes it totally unusable. I am planning to buy a house in the near future so I will likely endure the negatives only out of convenience for myself. But I do not recommend City North to others based on my experiences here. The service is just terrible, and the afterhours call center is completely useless.

The apartments are nice, spacious, and grounds are beautiful. There has been noticeable improvement of management and maintenance since we moved here in October. Although, we had some issues when we first moved in with a work order lasting months despite multiple inquiries on our end, something must have changed somewhere mid April because it only took one communication with De'Andre Wright via email and the work order was completed immediately by (I think) Randy who I had not seen before; his demeanor was very friendly, and he gave no excuses for past maintenance and office staff's negligence, but remained professional. Office staff has changed, and it seems all the maintenance staff is new. Since about mid April, work orders from light bulbs being out to plumbing issues have been taken care of very quickly. This morning Michael (who is also extremely friendly and polite) from maintenance showed up for a work order we placed late last night, so I'm pleased with the marked improvement in timely responses to work orders. My ratings are based on the improved staff and responsiveness that we have seen in the past couple of months in hopes that it will continue to improve and remain consistent.

I absolutely love living here and I am constantly recommending it to my friends and family. The staff isgreat and always greets you with a smile. Maintenance is very prompt. The apartments are very upscale but at a great price. I love the convenience to the highway and different shoppes. The complex is always very clean. We have a great gym and pool area. There arevalso little "parks" within the complex where you can barbque or just sit outside and enjoy the day. The place is gated, and the gate does go out occasionally, but the staff is great about correcting that issue when it does happen. I love that you need an access card and remote to get in to everything, it makes it feel safe

I've been at City North since the summer of 2013; my initial experience was HORRIBLE due to the office staff. LOVED my unit, however if I had to go into the office, it was the worst and they never answered the phone, locked the doors during office hours, unprofessional, and most times unhelpful. Around Sept - Oct they replaced the ENTIRE office team with the most professional, friendly, to the point staff ever! The Ladies of City North are awesome!! They make apartment living feel like a home. They always answer the phone, greet you with a smile, and know who you are and your unit. I mean the entire office team!! That's so rare. I love it. I'd recommend anyone to come at least experience the office. Now they do not sugar coat lies, they are upfront down to earth, fun, friendly and just perfect! And my unit is awesome! I love my apartment just as much. The property is always clean! Perfect place to live.

I recently moved into CityNorth Apartments and I am REALLY enjoying my apartment. I feel very safe and secure. The security goes from entering the gate, the entrance into the hallway; and the monitored security alarm. I feel as though I am paying for my luxury. All of my family and friends who have came to visit loves the design of my apartment and some are interested in moving here as well. Ever since I have moved in, Gina has been great help. Also, my boyfriend and I was recently amazed how we receive notifications in regards to the freezing temperature from staff during the night. Also, with Allison calling and making sure all of the service orders have been taking care of. I love CityNorth and I plan to be here a couple of years.
