Great interiors and floor plans
What I like about this place is that they have a variety of floor plans to choose from, and the interiors of the apartments are great! The apartments also provide some additional services that I don't find at other places, such as daily garbage collection and discount cable TV and Internet services. The parking garage was a little bit trashed when I first moved in, but the condition has been greatly improved due to new management enforcement and cleaning crew.

I like it
I have recently moved into the complex. So far everything has been great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My maintenance request was handled in a timely manner. The apartment is exactly what I was looking for.

Yes! I would recommend to a friend!
Very convenient location with easy access to shopping and restaurants! The units have beautiful kitchens and nice built-in features. I enjoy walking my dog around and it's pet friendly. The maintenance team is very friendly and responds quickly and efficiently to my requests.

I like living here
The upkeep is excellent, If there is a problem your staff is there to make things better. It's quite not a lot of kids, which was what I was looking for. Only one problem he garbage area has an odor. Don't know what can be done.

The staff is GREAT!!!
I have only been in the complex for 2 months but I love it! The office staff, especially Shantel, was EXTREMLY helpful during my move in process. The facility is very quiet. Once I close my door, I don't hear anything! I agree, that the trash area can get pretty smelly at times and overflows. The gate was broken but is now fixed. I would like if they enforced making sure tenants maintained their balconies. You see a little bit of everything. That is my only concern. Overall, I am enjoying my home!

Feedback
The Residency at Northlake used to be The Heights at Northlake. Under the original owner, it was an absolutely wonderful place. When the new company, initially it was awful. However, the leasing company is doing a much better job now of trying to keep the place clean and secure. Hopefully, it will reach the luxury standard again that it once claimed to be. Overall, it is a decent place to live but not quite worth the rent we pay.

I like living here....
I really like living here. The staff is helpful and nice, the apartments are very nice, but there are some things that should be changed. Such as, where the residents allow their pets to use the bathroom, the trashy odor in the parking deck, and the gates being broken all the time. Other than that I like staying here. The location is awesome.

Candid Feedback
Well let's start with the positive: The office staff, particularly Cynthia helps makes the things that are wrong so much better to handle and deal with. With that being said, ANY issue or concerns I have/had Cynthia has not only listened and responsed as needed BUT she has always followed up. NOW with that being said.. personally, I feel that pride comes from the inside and I think some of the persons they have allowed to move in do not take pride, will never take pride and basically do not care where and how the area looks where they live. Thus, I think alot can be improved by a better screening and qualifying of the persons, not just a body to occupy the space. I also think that the Trash should be ran on Saturday, ie: that would require mainteance to rotate and have someone come on site each week then the trash would not overflow and be out of control and will look like the price we pay. Also, I think there needs to be consequences to not following the rules as perscribed in the lease (ie: trash pick up, noise from music/neighbors etc.). Once the management begans to hold the persons accountable for failure to follow the rules as perscribed THEN and only THEN will this property become the "Stellar" place they desire it to be for the price and location as advertised. Now the additional fees that we pay in addition to the rent (ie: common lights, common water, etc.) that's a JOKE! And mind you Heartland is owed by the Connor Group as well so basically isnt that double dipping???????

Love the Apartment..Please fix the back gate
I have lived at Residency of Northlake for almost 2 years. I LOVE my apartment and the school zone. The office staff is friendly, nice, and professional when I am in their presence. My only complaint is the back gate the management decided to chain closed permanently and place a DO NOT ENTER sign on. The broken gate and chains is an eyesore and does not promote luxury style living. The back gate is also the same place where my young elementary child must stand for the bus stop. The gate is supposed to be opened by security before 6:30am when the bus arrives, but unfortunately some mornings the kids have to crawl under the gate. I think this is dangerous especially when it is raining and dark outside. I've expressed my issue to the manager who claims it was closed because of frequent accidents but I have never seen one accident there. My suggestion is fix the gate and have security keep it open ONLY during school hours to prevent kids misusing it. This way older kids do not have to have an opener to get through it afterschool. The school bus stop issue is the reason why I am not resigning. I just don't think it's always safe for children. I would only recommend if you do not have school aged children.

Evaluation
The apartment over the years has been a clear deterioration. However, within the reccent months there has been an effort to restore the property and bring it up to standard. I believe however that the quality of residents need to screened more thoroughly before allowing them to move into the community.

Great Apartment Complex!
Great Apartment Complex, with friendly staff who listen to your complaints and take the appropriate action. Plenty of well lit parking, if not for some of the speeding drivers. Plenty of grounds, with areas for parties or animals. Property is well maintained, except for the occasional driver crashing into the gate card reader. Apartments are spacious with unique designs, and great appliances. Pool area is pristine. Been in my apartment for two years, and haven't heard much past the occasional occurances. Great apartment.

Luxury apartment price without the luxury apartment feel.
Ample parking! Friendly staff! Could use more lighting in parking deck! Amenities should be made available around the clock. Too many junk fees charged along with utilities. Valet trash service 7 days a week would be an improvement. On site car wash really? property has potential but not quite there yet.

the greatest apartment ever!!!
First i want to start by saying that this apartment have been everything i can imagine before i move here and more. i feel totally safe here and its almost as if im the only one here in the huge compound. i dont have a problem with neighbors and everything in the apartment is completely up to date. There are many amenities that i haven't even found the time to use them yet!!! we love it here....by the way, we looked over a perimeter at a complex that has the same outlay, smaller building, and cost almost twice as much...i feel like i hit the jackpot!!!

I Love living here!
I have only lived here for a few months, but I really enjoy it. The staff has been very nice and helpful, and anything I needed fixed was fixed very promtly. The complex is very well kept and the trash is picked up fast so there is no smell and the hallways are kept very clean. Overrall, I love it and would recommend it to anyone.

Nice place with drawbacks
Once you get past the fees from the 3rd party billing company and the residents who don't clean up after their pets, it's not too bad. I like the property, but with everything there are things you would want to change. It's work the look, even if you decide to live somewhere else.

Please don't do it!!!!
OMG there are so many negative things I can say about this place! The leasing staff is so phony. They seem nice when you speak to them but they never follow through on there actions unless you harass them. Cars get broken into all the time. Yes its gated but it doesnt make a difference. They are definitely overpriced for the quality of service they provide. The computers in the common area never work and the printer is either out of paper or out of ink. The place is getting more and more questionable as the months go by. And please dont be deceived by their heartland bill that will run you 80-100 monthly plus comcast adds another 100. The pool is nice but many of the chairs are broken and they dont enforce the rules of 2 guests per Lease holder. Wild pool party seen with marijuana, alcohol and loud drunk people. Would you want this around your kids or family? I could go on and on but please dont waste your time on this place. You can do better!

PLEASE DONT RENT HERE!!1
Northlake Apts are the worst simply because the manager is the worse ever. She cant wait until people are evicted and will send certain maintenance staff to steal your stuff. She has stolen from tenants and from the property mgt company itself. The property does nothing for the tenants no parties, no appreciation days, nothing. Also, they don't believe in getting rid of their bugs or acknowledge the crime that takes place their. If you dont believe me go to the local tucker precint behind LA fitness and ask for crime reports for that property you would be appalled. Do not wast your money or your time. This is one of the worst apartment communities in Atlanta.
