Everyone is really nice and helpful....... anytime I call with issues its handled promptly..... my kids and I feel safe living here and have experienced no safety issues..... I would definitely recommend This community to a friend or family member

I am tired of leaving awful reviews. Poor reviews flog unanswered especially when you get on the leasing office staff to treat people like they are actually human beings. They have yet to inform residents about the gunfire that rang out in the courtyard a few weeks ago.

I love my apt. I live here 3 and a half no intentions to move .however the past year and a half it has became durty.i see people in the park struture picking up garbage and complaining to me as if i am a staff member.

Nothing positive to say except the availability of a parking garage and a elevator. Customer service and communication is poor at this location unfortunately . Maintenance responds slowly to work request although within the lease a response should be made at minimum 48 hours if not emergent. Communication is poor along with no effective follow through or any effective customer service when dealing with any issues. You must continue to call back to back to get any issues solved. I would not recommend this complex to anyone . The money that is paid monthly does not correspond with the service received as a tenant unfortunately .

I have enjoyed living at avana. There are the normal apt issues sometimes, but for the most part this is a great complex to live in. I think the weight room needs to be updated, and sometimes the trash company doesn't pick up when they are supposed to. But I feel secure and the community is pretty peaceful in the building that I live in.

I think maintenance need help. I dont think there is sufficient maintenance staff to maintain this apartment community and the leasing staff needs to be more professional. Overall, I like the location.

Freeway noise is a bit much. The morning traffic will wake you up out of your sleep. This will be the reason I move. Maintenance requests have not been addressed from two weeks ago. Other than that the community is great.

My experience with this community has been the worse. I moved here April of 2020 and have been having issues since I moved it. First, my apartment was not ready when I moved in initially. It was still dirty and had not been prepared for move in. Ive placed maintenance requests that take about 2 months to acknowledge and complete. I have heights who are extremely noisy and nothing is done. I have to call the police to bring attention to it. The neighborhood parking garage is trashy and filthy - people throw trash all over the Ground and no one picks it up. Maintenance is horrible and so are the front office staff in their care and communication efforts. At this point, I just want to move.

I Really enjoy living at this apartment community. The residents are very nice and so is the staff. Maintenance is always on time in adamant about getting the work finish.I really believe its a convenient location to downtown and other cities

On Friday July 31, I was at the community pool. At approximately 7PM gunshots were fired sending other pool-goers and myself into a state of panic and fear for our lives. Fortunately, no one was hurt however the mental damage that this has inflicted on me is both traumatizing and irreversible. The thought that I was a few steps away from a deadly act, in a place that I call home, leaves me no sense of security and has disrupted my sense of peace in my own community. Over the weekend I made valiant attempts to gather myself and "reset". However, I am only left with an endless sense of paranoia and I can not continue to live here. The vision of a grandmother and her children (also at the pool) banding together to protect themselves from surrounding gunshots is forever etched into my memory. I am also extremely disheartened that no notice has been disseminated to the larger resident population and this leaves me to wonder what other acts have occurred on the property that I have not been informed about. This only adds to my overall disappointment in how the property is managed. The property managers keep saying "they are waiting on a police report". I can not believe, that to date nothing has been mentioned of this event to make residents aware. Wow. I began the process of submitting my request on 8/3. To date, Tasha has not followed up on my request to terminate my lease. Her name was given to me by Stella who escalated my request. My assumption is that they think I will just go away. As a point reference, I have previously reported other illegal activity of my neighbors. Friday's events are not the first time I have witnessed unruly, unregulated behavior here.

The customer service is awful. The little black girl sitting in the front desk wont even get up to greet you at the door. They have door lock. She just sit and stare at you until you end up calling. Please bring Ruben back to this property ASAP. This new staff is the worse. There isn't a need for the reply to call back to talk about it. I have and other residence have called and this Stephanie character do what she can to rush you off the phone.

Horrible service. Hallways are dirty and they stink. People pee in the hallways, no one cleans it up so they smell like pee and trash. Garage has trash everywhere and stinks bad. Garage door is supposed to be secured with key entry only and the door has been broken for months leaving anyone to get in. Also there is no parking garage security so you are paying to park in the parking garage when anyone that doesnt live here can park there. They trail behind you or wait for you to open the garage so they can drive right in and park wherever they want leaving residents to have to search for parking on all different levels causing an inconvenience for easy access to your apartment.

Okay so far, the breezeways/hallways floors need to be cleaned. They are not taking care of on a normal schedule. When like to see more cleaning done. Key cards are not working at most of the gates if.

Please bring back old management and maintenance. It has never taking this long for maintenance to come out after request. Where is Ruben? The girl sitting in the leasing office in front of the door is rude. I wish I never renewed my lease. Im counting down the days for it to be up

Very severe! It obviously that the previous owner had a pet. When you walk in the apartment it smells like pet, you can obviously see and smell the stains from before. Which shows they didnt even attempt to clean the carpet. When I brought it to the manager attention she asked well, you didnt see that before you move in.. which if she wouldve checked my file everything Im requesting I put on the move in paper. Shows not properly doing their job.

The team at Avana City North is beyond helpful. Star and Melvin were professional and courteous throughout my entire application and move-in process. I called several times asking all kinds of questions and never once did I get the impression that I was a bother to them. The online application and lease signing process was super simple. My move-in was seamless. The convenient location of the elevators was a HUGE help to my movers. Every morning I see the engineers making their rounds and theyre always smiling or waving hello. The gentlemen cleaning the parking garage is up early removing pieces trash but also waving hello. The common areas i.e. the pool and fitness centers are kept immaculately clean. Ive only been here for a few weeks but I love it thus far. Thank you for all you do Greystar team!!

Within my first 3 months living in Avana my apartment was robbed. The maintenance crew did an awful job repairing my door that night and just screwed some bolts and did good to go but the lock was busted and didnt feel safe at all. The garage always has trash on the ground - its more the residents disrespecting our shared space.

This community smell awful. Whatever you do do NOT get an apartment on the parking deck side. You will not be able to let your windows up in your apartment from the odor. I hate it here. Also this place is not dog friendly. You can not walk your own dog without watching your step from other dog poop. Its everywhere

I was unable to see my apartment before I moved in due to covid 19. (Understandable) I was never advised that Id have a built in office space which I like because I have to work from home, however, if I had a choice between having the built in office desk vs. more storage space, I would have chosen more storage. I have NO SPACE to put any of my belongings. My outside patio storage is locked and being used for the water system so I still have not fully unpacked after 4 months because I have no where to put my stuff. I basically have to choose to live out of boxes or get rid of my stuff all together.

I moved in May 26 haven't had aur conditioning until this past weekend July 10th maintenance was very helpful but management was very uncertain. I was told to pay rent before I could be help I can't believe the disconnect. I love my unit but overall would not renew lease.

The community has a lot of positive things going for it, but it also has some negatives. The noise level due to speeding cars is a big issue. Management needs to address this because individuals are constantly speeding and revving up their engines in the parking garage adjacent to the property. Also, there is quite a bit of trash (old tires, fast food, etc.) that is in the garage. This also needs to be addressed. Lastly, the leasing professionals can have a negative attitude at times. While I understand their frustrations and issues because of covid 19, they should be able to maintain professionalism. I have had several calls where I am either disrespected or hung up on. That being said, the community has a lot of positives as well. Relatively speaking, it is a quiet community (with the exception of the speeding cars) and the grounds around and about the property are well maintained. I also like the fact that the controlled access gates work well and are repaired in a timely fashion when there is an issue. I also love my apartment and the finishings and floor plan; it is joy to come home to such a warm and cozy place. All in all, its a mixed bag with this property. There is some good and some bad.

My first apartment is luxurious, spacious and modern. I absolutely love it. Also, the Avana City North community is peaceful, quiet and safe. Truly a great place to live! And you are in such a convenient location and surrounded by EVERYTHING you need from restaurants to shopping to stores to auto care, etc.

Dirty complex. Trash always in parking deck. Abandoned cars hallways and stairs dirty. Unauthorized dog breeds. People smoking marijuana speeding in parking deck. Complex should be pet free. Dogs peeing 8n stairwell. Need another dumpster. Trash piles on the weekend. Embarrassing to have visitors. People throwing mattresses and large furniture next to dumpster
