What a retreat
If you like living in the heart of Buckhead but tucked away from the hustle and bustle make sure and check out my home, Post Stratford.

I recently went through a divorce and have found that the staff at Post Stratford are helpful and patient with my needs.

If you enjoy gardening they will provide a vegetable plot and even provide for FREE all the seeds, plants, etc. It´s also a great way to meet your neighbors.

The location is great!
I moved to Stratford 6 months ago and so far so good. I have a loft apartment with hardwood floors and all my friends envy it. The ammenities are very well kept and clean & there is plenty of parking in the deck. The maintenance is also very quick to fix anything that goes wrong (I had a couple of track lights go out). My favorite thing about stratford is the location as I use marta to get downtown to my job and I love to shop at Lenox. I would recommend Post stratford to anyone who asks.

not for everyone but for some of us - enchanting
In spite of the luxury level rents - thanks to the neighborhood - (over $1000 for one-bedroom) Post Stratford is not one of those super-deluxe apartments with so much gilt and glass you are afraid to breathe lest you soil something. The concrete halls are scuffed and cigarette butts are not uncommon. What makes Post Stratford so special and for me worth it are the grounds. On the terrace level is a virtual botanical garden. At night it becomes magical, with the lights twinkling. Down the stairs at every building is another beautiful courtyard with a fountain. The high-rise going up next door rains down a shower of styrofoam pieces which get in everywhere. That is temporary (I hope!). I happily put up with that nuisance to be in a place that is so beautiful, and so accessible. Did I say it was walking distance to MARTA?

Great Place.....Good Deals
This apartment community by far offers an excellent deal at a great location. The property management team is very professional, organized and quick to help solve any issues. The maintenance team is efficient and always available. I would highly recommend Post Stratford for anyone looking for an upscale community in a great area of town.

If you want to be ripped off move here
The property of Post Stratford is very nice and the location is nice, but there are way too many hassles to deal with, at least if you want to change apartments or move out. First of all they have (had) severe fire alarm problems where they would go off for hours! Secondly, if you want to transfer apartments or move out at all, be prepared to pay for every detail not cleaned, such as the oven, small stains in the carpet, even the drip pans on the stove. Now if that´s not normal wear and tear I don´t know what is. And if you paint make sure they sell you their paint no matter what they tell you. Also when we transferred, they made us show how much we were making, even though we had been good tenants there for 16 months, I thought that was rude. All in all nice place to live but the bureaucracy is absolutely ridiculous, but I bet most POST properties are this way. I will never live in a POST ever again!

great location
I lived in this apartment complex for two years after spending one year in an apartment in Dunwoody. I thought it was great location, right in the middle of Buckhead. The residents are not very social and there was never too many people out by the pool. Their maintenance was always on the ball, very quick to get things fixed. I moved out when they started building across the street so I´m not sure what the end result will be once that is complete.

Nice Style, Noisy in the extreme
The apartment was very nice, but due to a lack of sound insulation, the extremely noisy and rude upstairs neighbors bothered me and any apartment that abutted them. The staff stated that they wanted to evict them but needed more complaints. I and others called the police on at least 2 occasions. The noise from the high rise construction next door may reach an all time high next week when they start blasting rock.

A great property with incredible management. Post Stratford is definately the place to live in Buckhead. The leasing team is very friendly and very efficient. I used to live at this community and had a wonderful experience.
I really enjoyed my stay at Post Stratford for many reasons. The staff would always meet all of my needs. Location was awesome, the property is beautiful, beyond my expectations, and to top it off I was surprised at how low my utilities were.
Overall this property definitly meets my standards.

decent but noisy
This building is fairly new so cleanliness at the beginning was great. Towards the end, there were some accidents in the common areas that took days before they were cleaned.

If you decide to live here, I highly advise *not* choosing one of the apartments along Stratford Road as a new office building is about to go up. I lived in one of these apartments and had to endure a lot of construction noise during my stay as another office building was being completed in the same area. However, I don´t know if the construction noise will reach the apartments on the other side of the complex, which does run along a highway (# 400) and the MARTA.

There were a lot of car break-ins in the covered garage but there´s now a resident police officer which I believe has resolved that issue.

Sound insulation in the building was poor. Noise from neighboring apartments and the hallway were high.

If you like receiving your mail, do not live here. This building is famous within the USPS for mail delivery problems. I often found the panel for the mailboxes unlocked so I had easy access to everyone´s mail. Several items that I mailed from this location were received by the recipients opened (though the contents were of no value and thus were all accounted for). Repeated phonecalls to the USPS prompted laughter from their end. I am now in the nightmare situation of trying to get my mail forwarded to my new address. This problem should be blamed on the USPS rather than this apartment complex itself, but it is a problem nonetheless.

The buildings proximity to the MARTA, highway 400, shopping and restaurants is great.
