I've lived here for about 9 months and I've loved it so far. The staff is professional, and when things break (which is rarely), maintenance responds SO quickly. The community is pretty clean and in my experience the neighbors are respectful.

The location is unbeatable. You are literally steps away from the Buckhead Marta station and can walk to so many shops, restaurants and grocery stores. The quality of the community is suffering given its age. The management team has begun upgrading vacant units; however, many of the long-term residents still have outdated interior features and finishes. The amenities, breezeways and common areas are also showing their age. In terms of service, the management and maintenance teams are extremely pleasant, helpful and responsive. If you want a modern apartment community in the heart of Buckhead, this place is not for you. However, if you want larger floor plans at affordable rates in a perfect location, you'll likely be happy here.

Extremely pleased except for the continuing (hopefully ending)HVAC problems which ran up our electric bills for three months. Staff & people living here are exceptionally friendly. There are no major drug or crime problems like we here about at other apartment complexes very near us. The location works well for us as my doctor, PA, NP & therapists have to come to our location to provide me medical care. It's also an enjoyable location as several restaurants are close by. Parking is great in a four level covered garage & one open level on the roof. We have a rescue dog & ES dog. They love being here too. Maintenance of the facility is greatly improved with a new property manager & maintenance supervisor. The man who preps the apartments between tenants has been here over five years & he does a very, very thorough job of having your apartment ready for move-in.

The complex's only saving grace is a good location. The management company does not take care of their units but expects its tenants to do their work for them. There is animal feces and cockroaches all throughout common spaces. Services that we had requested at move-in or never done after a year. I had a broken window in my bedroom that was claimed to be unfixable but clearly it just cost too much to do so. BEWARE also at move it be prepared to be nickel and dimed for anything and everything. They tried to charge us for carpet cleaning even after we had gotten it professionally steam cleaned

Seems to be family friendly and safe. The neighbors above us stomp when they walk and run, sometimes until 2-3AM. The pool is right outside our window but the sounds to not make it in. Parking is easy and we love the space in our apartment. Highly recommend.

Move items were not ready upon move in. Staff, Melanie Burrell, is truly outstanding. Excellent customer service and very attentive. She has made a huge difference in my move in even though things were not completely ready.

Post Stratford is easy living. Great location right off of the red Marta line. Plan on using the train if you can as traffic is busy in December with Lenox and Peachtree being two blocks away. The staff is helpful and responsive. The apartment itself is as expected and a good value relative the newer and more expensive comps in the neighborhood.

Overall maintenance is good, but there are a number of areas that are poorly or barely maintained. The trash rooms are the worst. They are never actually cleaned, resulting in gross stains and bits of trash/food/litter. Sometimes the chutes get backed up and tenants leave bags of trash on the floor. Other areas that are poorly cleaned are on and around stairways, the parking garage, and the pathways that lead to/from the garage. The hallways are better, but there should be more attention to detail.

The parking at Post Stratford in incomparable to any complex in all of Atlanta. I feel safe at all hours and I cannot wait to resign again in June. My roommate and I really love out Buckhead apartment.

Updated interior, stainless steel kitchen, a little close to the highway but the sound isn't bad. Parking is plentiful and it is gated. Walking distance to several malls and reasurants. I moved from several states away and didn't have a chance to visit the property in personal and the office staff was amazing in sending pictures, layouts and checking on the apartment as the renevations took place. I could not be happier with their communication with me and assistance in getting everything complete from a distance.

Do not move to post Stratford, nothing is updated, they have roaches , and nets , when i first moved into my apartment it was not clean . Something from the previous tenant was left in there . I had to clean the apartment i thought it was normal because I'm young and this was 2nd place until my mom told me ! And other places in Atlanta cleans before people move in ! The first 3 months i had to stay elsewhere because i had roaches crawling on my face . And nets in all of my food . My apartment leaked 3-4 times . My sink does not work ... it's just disgusting dosent feel like a home that's why i really never Added furniture . You walk outside there is water bugs every where . My packages worth $1000 of hair got stolen ... I'm pretty sure by one of the old leasing office workers ! Worst selection of my life

So far since moving in a few months I have to say that I love the community. It's a quiet complex and the people are nice plus I've been able to call and email the leasing office with any of my questions and receive a prompt answer. I would definitely recommend it as the service is amazing and the location is even better.

Very pleased with office & maintenance staff. All are wonderful people to deal with. Apartments are well designed but some need windows updated. We are so glad we met Brittany in the leasing office. In fact we rented online prior to moving to Atlanta as we trusted her completely. She is a great asset to MAA.

I've had a great experience. Great location. Friendly staff. I can always find a parking space near my apartment. The fitness center is very accessible. It is not a high rise like the neighboring apartment buildings, but is nice and cozy.

I live in one of the less updated apartments at Post Stratford (one of few remaining), but since it doesn't have a lot of extra frills, the rent is quite affordable. Overall, I would recommend the complex for both its location and amenitites; however, owners of pets--specifically dogs--often leave their pets' excrement lying around. The apartment does provide bags for the waste, and has been cracking down recently, so it seems the issue is with the residents and not Post Stratford, itself.

Overall the community is good. Melanie Burrell the supervisor is great! The only problem I've had was my car was broken into, my mail was missing and there was damage to my car when garage was being power washed.

Hard to even put into words how insanely awful management is. They just decided to pressure wash the parking deck, and sent out one email (which most of us missed) to inform us. If we parked on the wrong floor that day we got towed and charged $100 for it. No sign put out as a warning not to park on that floor that day. Nothing. From conversations with other residents I'd assume there were probably 50 towings just this week. Also, the towing company charged less the fee they passed to residents, so they are PROFITING on this process. The website portal just went down a day before the end of the month, and residents couldn't make their online payments. The office sent an email admitting it's their fault, but still admitted that any residents that didn't get them a cashiers check by the deadline pays a late fee. The mail room has been robbed several times. I've lost money, wedding invites, etc. When we complained about the fact that the mail room continued to get raided and simply asked them to take some security measures, they said we could file a report with the city of Atlanta but said it wasn't their problem. They eventually had enough complaints so they had everyone's mail re-routed to the Roswell post office, so we had to drive across the city for a few months to pick up our mail! They try to avoid paying referral credits. We had to follow-up several times and annoy them, then they finally they credited us, however reduced the amount by 50% stating that they stopped that promotion even though the sign was still up offering it. (This was obviously in the beginning of the lease-- would never recommend now that someone move to this asylum.) The list goes on, but basically prepare for hell if you consider moving here. I assure you that all of these positive reviews are from friends of the leasing agents and not actual residents, because everyone I talk to hates it here.

Needs to be torn down to handle all the issues with the buildings themselves. Be prepared for a lot of issues with the apartments. Loud alarms go off in the hallways at all hours for no reason, crappy appliances, and theyll charge you for every little thing they can. For the cost of rent, you can definitely find a better place than this. This place is a taco bell with Chipotle prices.

The location of the community is great since it has quick access to shopping and the Marta. However, if your apartment is on the side face Highway 400 it can be a bit noisy with all the traffic. The staff is professional and maintenance requests are addressed promptly.

I wish i could give this place less than 1 star on a lot of these credentials. The only thing it has going for it is the proximity to everything in buckhead. It's also funny to see all these fake concerned responses by management to any bad reviews, when in reality I've tried time and again to voice concerns to both management and corporate and had little to no response. Other than being told that "my safety is not their responsibility" after an attempted home break-in while I was in the shower last year. I've lived in post Stratford for over 2 years and let me tell you things have gone from livable to unacceptable in a very short amount of time. Management is absolutely terrible and the least helpful group I've ever experienced in 10 years of apartment living. I've had numerous packages stole , not to mention the mail theft problem we had last year that post refused to address. They told everyone to contact the police and went along their merry way. We currently have a centrally located resident gate that has been broken and sitting unlocked for nearly a month. No wonder we have so many break ins (both auto and home). Each renewal they've offered us has been at an almost offensive increase to what we are currently paying. ($600 increase last year due to "market price", when a nearly identical unit went on their website for $500 less) There are a disgusting amount of roaches running around the second it's over 70 degrees. I get that this is Atlanta, a roach here and there is pretty unavoidable, but pay for an exterminator so we're not dodging roaches from every direction every time we walk outside. Don't even get me started on how much of a mess Stratford Rd is. You better not be in a hurry to leave because you may be sitting for 10-20 mins trying to get around all the construction, random semis attempting to turn around, etc. Also, not a huge issue but the pool only gets sun for about half the day due to the massive parking deck directly behind it. I know the location and price in buckhead can be tempting but AVOID this place while you can. Seriously.
