Overall my experience for my first few months has been pleasant. The neighborhood is mostly quiet and people keep to themselves. My apartment was remodeled prior to my move-in. So my appliances are new and in great condition. The paint, flooring, and caulking throughout the apartment is cheaply done. The trash is confusing. Residents get monthly reminders to use chutes but they overfill each weekend. There were multiple large containers for boxes on each floor of the garage when I moved in but they've been gone for nearly two months now with no communication on where they went or if they'll be replaced?

Staff is usually very helpful and friendly. I'm satisfied with my actual apartment and the grounds are kept clean. My only complaint is the trash situation. I would to see the dumpsters on each floor or valet trash. I feel like I have to walk a long way with heavy trash to take it to the chute room. It's also wild that the leasing office is closed the entire weekend.

I moved to this property at the beginning of June 2024. Everything was fine until August 24th. Nearest elevator stopped working and still not working till this day. I am a female and live alone. When I have big furnitures I can't bring them to my apartment.

The process was simple and attention to deadlines was good.Move in experience was good. Safety gates are poor. Garage cleanliness- poor. Garbage shoots-poor. Noise level of above..poor. Pool Gym nice.

It has been very good. The residents are typically quiet during evenings on weekdays and its not too bad on weekends. Management and maintenance take care of all issues in a timely manner. Staff is friendly and helpful. The community is very dog friendly. It is also tucked away from the main street, giving you access without the hassle of random individuals walking around the neighborhood.

Community is nice & office staff has always been nice . Maintenance seems to be an issue here seeing that they disregard your notes on work orders and technicians argue and lie over the phone about the work they complete in your unit . My window in my bedroom had broken & i had been without a window in the winter months for about 2 months . My water heater has been leaking for 5 months and they never fix the problem only make it look like they are , very lazy (atleast the technician assigned to my unit 90% of the time) when i first moved in we had a different tech and he was amazing , this new girl not so much . My vents are currently pushing out dusty air giving my filter is brown every 2 weeks & my unit has pests from my water heater leaking . I will not be renewing .

Loud/Bugs/Bad Management
So loud. Trash pickup and leaf blowers every morning starting at 7am. Management will forgot to tell you things or tell you the wrong things and when you ask about it they will say there is nothing we can do. Apartments are in bad shape upon move in and there’s bugs everywhere. In my experience maintenance was good and Markida is the only leasing associate that knows how to work with people.

Awful.. I put in order 6 days now and no follow up has been made, I've reached out on my own to follow up with no timeframe resolution offered. Awful on end of working with property management and having any issues addressed professionally.

Apartments floorplans are great, keeping hallways clean not so great and the trash are extremely awful. They monthly maintenance charges are expensive for such a old property. Staffing is a big issue.

Great location and apartment staff. The apartments themselves have okay quality, the appliances aren't the best and you can tell the walls have had multiple layers of paint. I really enjoy living here though.

Cedric and LaKia are doing a very good job. The community is cleaner and quieter than it has been in the past. The improvements they have made are very welcome. My suggestion is that they clean the pool and lounge covers before the pool opens and replace the missing 20 lb weights in the fitness center.

I have been here less than a year and seen two common area doors broken, only one of which has been fixed after notification to management. The office staff are friendly, which is a plus, but it does not make up for the obnoxious sounds of GA 400 right beside the building. Normal traffic is one thing, but cars consistently drive by just to backfire and rev their un-muffled engines between 11pm and 2am. The apartments are nice enough, but a far cry from luxury. The package room is also constantly full of boxes, and while I haven't had any packages stolen, it would not be hard for someone to do so. All in all, I don't feel unsafe here, but I have no desire to renew my lease at this location

It's been an awesome experience living at MAA Startford! It's tucked away conveniently near Lenox/Buckhead, but I chose it because it gives off a more homey/residential feel than the neighboring high-rise apts. the amenities are well kept and I throughly enjoy living here. Gym and Pool are awesome, and this place even has its own car wash area. Only complaint is the noise from cars on 400 and nearby streets late at night.

Nice loft but my light is $400 a month. Won't do this again. Nit sure if I am the only person who has this problem. I was told by the office to share a printout of my daily usage. I did receive two credits but after that nothing else.

Packages in the mailroom come ip missing, and the staff in the leasing do not believe it's their responsibility. If you move into the MAA, don't be surprised if you do not receive all of your deliveries.

Extremely high turnover and the living experience has declined since moving in. Maintenance is not dependable and there is a need to constantly follow up on major issues that have been closed out by a maintenance worker doing the absolute bare minimum at their job.

Cody was so kind and patient. I really enjoyed my tour and his detailed responses to my questions. I was considering another unit but he suggested a floor plan that I overlooked. I've been at MAA Stratford for coming on 4 years. I initially loved it, but the new staff has made my recent apartment transfer horrific, specially Jessica in the leasing office. Upon move In I saw several roaches (dead and living) in the apartment. I literally had to fight for them to fix it which caused my live in to be pushed back. I arrive for move in and not only has pest control treated the unit, but Jessica in the office has a horrific attitude. She states she's already "gone above and beyond" and I need to sign my lease. Upon looking at the lease it's 2 months shorter and $500 more expensive monthly. According to Jessica I could sign it under her new terms or be homeless. I wasn't given any notice and had to reach out to over 20 people before hearing a response. I'm still having issues, unwarranted charges and duplicate charges to my account. Cody is amazing in the leasing office, however it in no way makes up for the nasty attitudes, total lack of professionalism and tension you have to deal with which is unfortunate. Rent is expensive, live somewhere where you feel welcome and appreciated, this isn't it.

Apartment was not ready (clean) on start date. However, common areas are very clean (small gym, pool, business office, dog park, etc.). Trash system is good. Overall, the staff seems like they want to help you meet your needs, though incorrect information was sometimes given during application process.

SMOKE ODOR ..and management doesn't move fast enough to fix issue
Since the moment of applying with my ESA Documents to getting my keys to the apartment has been the worst experience ever. Lakia (the property manager) has not made any of the situations easy for me. I didnt feel welcomed into the premies at all.

This is a safe, secure and respectable community. I would recommend it to others. It is conveniently located, close to Macy's, Target, Wholefoods and all other retail stores. Parcel delivery is perfectly safe. The garage is conveniently located within the building for safety purposes

Lately timeliness of fixing exit and entrance parking gates to be subpar. Lack of security or sense of urgency around malfunctions that compromise security on site is disappointing. Don't find manteinace to be effective. Multiple times opening work orders for same issue.

Prime location, nice property, but it needs a bit of facelift ( cleaning & cosmetic updates). The parking door didn't look in good shape. Cody did a great job showing me around. He was very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and courteous!

I can't say too much about living here because I do not but I can speak on the experience I had touring this property. Jessica was the person that gave me a tour and she was very kind professional and knowledgeable. She made a stressful task not stressful at all and was a breath of fresh air.
