I cannot say the apartment complex is worth 5 stars anymore (move in 2017). It's a hard 3 depending on the day (2019). Management has changed multiple times. They spray for bugs every three months but it does not do anything. I see more walking around AFTER they spray (itty bitty water like bugs). Bug spray lady is there every Wednesday for the next scheduled building as well has well as call backs. They stated in the lease that they would "change filters every three months" as well but they have only changed ours TWICE. We end up changing our own. We have two gates but they are always broken. Or the pole is smashed. Anyone can come and go as they please. Our trash compactor is always broken, BUT that does not stop anyone from throwing away trash. They shut down the playground for 6 months; put out picnic tables throughout the complex and then raised rent. No renovations were made to the playground or apartments. We have a two bed 1.5 bath, 728 dollars with pet rent. (THAT'S NOT THE RAISED PRICE) Our walls are not straight, one crappy toilet, and terrible moisture build-up in our shower room. There are no air vents in the bathrooms. So mold is always a worry if the bathroom is closed for a while. (In the older apartments you can request a vent to be put in the showroom BUT ONLY UPSTAIRS residence) The walls are painted poorly. You can wipe the wall with a wet wipe and the paint will come off. Our building (multiple families) has reported the main stair light being out. It has been out for 7 months now. Nothing has been done. (It was fixed after my review posted) The pools are maintained year round but summer of 2019 has been a bit messy. It's only the end of May. (They finally bought a new filter in June to fix that issue) Nasty diaper bits are always floating around. The water fall is missing some decor bricks but the chairs and tables are still nice. They do not leave out a skimmer for residents to use when needed. Strangers from the neighborhood across the street are always roaming and using the pool. Anyone can come and go as they please. The gates are pointless. The gym is always clean. The laundromat is 24/7 so don't forget your key card, laundry card, or cash. The tanning bed is office hours only. Decent bed, it is a level one at any tanning bed business. Parking is a problem, but usually only caused by guests not using guest parking spots. Neighbors' also do not care if they hit your car or not. Review updated: June 2019 The light in the breezeway was fixed after the review posted. The manager reached out over some issues. The gates were fixed but they can't really help that people keep breaking them. The on sight police and security were obviously not abiding by their agreement (which gave a pretty % off rent) to walk the grounds at night to check building lights as well as the pool for strangers. Yes, we do have pool passes. Pool hours are 9am to 10pm. You may bring two guest outside of the lease to the pool area.

Great community, I would recommend it to anyone looking to move, they are efficient and polite community. I have been living here for 4 years and even though there have been issues, whenever I call, they do their very best to fix it and I appreciate that

I like it here. The only issues I have are that people literally throw their junk mail on the ground at the mail boxes. Repo men in tow trucks drive around at all hours of the night. They should not be allowed on the property. That is about the only negatives that I have.

I wouldn't recommend these apartments to anyone. Don't have anything unexpected happen to you!!!! I had to recently move out because I found out I was expecting a child and I was unfortunately unable to give them 90 days notice but was a 60 day notice. They told me I needed to pay 90 days at a prorated rate I ended up spending about 1,300$ just to move out then they charged me 600$ in "damages" and for the carpet alone for a one bed one bath was 480$ how awful!! They also charged me in damages for things I reported but the didn't take note I'm sure just so they don't have to pay to fix it. The maintenance staff drive around the complex not caring about anyone else and almost ran me off the road I would recommend leashing your children!!! The gates are almost always broken because people get tired of waiting on the gates that take forever or when the line is backed out to the road because of the call box. The hours are not set correctly or long enough for rush our. My filter got changed out maybe 4 times from when I lived there and constantly delt with bugs. As soon as I told them I needed to get off my lease the staff treated me coldly after being a resident for almost 3 years.

So far it's been fine. Just moved in and all seem well. Would recommend Brittwood to a friend. I like it too because it is a gated community. it is also closer to the bthings i like doing the most. So far so good.

The management team and everyone at the front office were so nice and polite through the whole process. They made sure I understand what was needed before hand, and made sure that I understood everything in the lease. I would definitely recommend this community to anyone.

It is a little loud at times but the people have been fairly nice and keep to themselves. I love the look of the complex and am glad to have a space where my son can play and my wife can swim. I can see us staying here a while.

Good experience moving in. Friendly staff and seems to be a good neighborhood. Les than a mile to pretty much anything you can think of. Good security as well. My one bedroom is very spacious with an open floor plan and large closets.

The office staff and community manager are amazing. The community is quiet and I've had no complaints while living here. Any matinace request has been promptly resolved with 100% professionalism. I would gladly recommend this community to anyone looking for a place to feel safe and have a wonderful living experience.

Very well kept grounds and excellent and friendly staff. Respond to maintenance problems as quickly as possible. Quiet neighborhood and a lot of happy puppies with the dog park and picnic areas.Security personnel living on the grounds.

So far so good. Everyone has been so sweet and anything I have needed they have been there. Great and quiet area so far and matinence has been sweet as well and super fast with fixing any problems. You receive an email when your apartment is fixed which I loved. I literally just moved in but I really like it so far!

Great office staff they are friendly helpful and new the answers to my questions Clean apt and grounds, kitchen does not look run down and wore out, everything was very clean Pet friendly was a big factor for us, nice not to see and dog poop laying around

Great move in and great staff/ maintenance team. The location is perfect in regards to shopping, restaurants, etc. Pretty quiet and cozy. The neighbors are friendly and speak as well. Overall property appearance is very clean.

Everything from meeting the staff, looking at the apartment, and moving in to the new place has been perfect. We are notified regarding any issues. I guess when coming from a place that didn't treat their residents with respects, I am so grateful for Britt wood and their professionalism.

Great place to stay and quite. Have been here for over 4 years. Would recommend anyone to stay here. Have not had any issues with the front office or maintenance, any issues always gets resolved in a timely matter.

GREAT THE STAFF IS OUTSTANDING AND THE MAINTENANCE GUYS ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND ATTENTIVE TO ONES NEEDS. I ASSUME YOU MUST SEND THESE GUYS TO SCHOOL OR SOME SORT OF COURSES. We have only lived here for a few days and the experience has been good. Our building is quiet and our dog loves the dog park. We are very close to stores and restaurants which make date night easy to prepare for.

I am so VERY HAPPY to be LEAVING Thayer Property! Between constant "emergency" water shut off with minimum notice (at least 3x/month during several months of my staying here), mail thrown on the ground because there is no receptacle for misplaced mail, gate malfunction, trash over flowing, pest control issues, cutting trees down creating a huge mess and excessive noise with no notification from front desk for over 6 weeks, (still looks terrible in my back area) unconcern front desk staff who can hardly ever tell tenants we have packages,, etc. YES! I found a better place to live in peace, cleanliness, and where management care about tenants. Finally stop getting emails from property manager demanding rent whereas I pay my rent on time. There is just a huge lack of care and concern for the residence in this community. And the troubling fact is the property manager actually lives here, and she doesn't seem bothered at all. At first, I thought since there are so many white people in maintenance and staff, that they are racist. But as I talked with my white neighbors, they are treated the same. I realize that this community is all about money, bottom line profit. There is no care about unity and quality of life. The aesthetics trimmed drive by look is all a front. I feel like this place is a middle scale slum. I am very disappointed .

It has been a peaceful stay. The staff is very nice and no new noise complaints. It is very close to the interstates and stores. I enjoy the convenience. I hear there may be a basketball court around. I can wash my car also on property.

I love living here. The staff is awesome,the maintenance crew is always there right when i need of the time the grounds are always clean .love the pool , the tanning bed access and the gym.i'm happy here i don't know what else too say!!!!!!

Britt woods apartments _ the front office staff was nothing short of amazing. (emily & chelsey) the tour guide of the apartment was very detailed. She answered all my questions with complete honesty. The pool is open year round. So no green pools in January. The gym & laundry room is 24 hours. It's an gated community but the gate is open majority of the time. Quiet time is at 10 PM. There are officers on the property on call 24/7.

I love this community! It is very convenient to shopping, dining, and a highway exit. The staff have been nothing but helpful and professional since day one. Anytime I have needed anything, they are more than willing to help out.

The apartment has the right amount of space and amenities needed for me. Parking is no problem. Gated Community with a pool. Rental staff is always professional and courteous when I visit the office each month.
