It's a nice community. Located conveniently close to parks, schools and plenty places to eat and shop. Washer and dryers located in the basement, also nice to a place with a basement for bad weather.

I love my apartment and feel safe. Abby is amazing with any concerns that I have. Abby is also so nice and she is personable and is always wanting to know how I am doing. She is a great Asset and you are lucky to have her. A person that is in this business has to be a person that people can come too and I always feel like I am welcome by her and not a bother or ignored. I love my apt it is quiet and they are doing so much upkeep to it. I feel safe here and I am glad to call it my home.

Overall very positive. Current office staff and maintenance are the best we have had in a long time. They are very responsive to resident needs and always try to get requests done in a timely manner. I am happy with my apartment itself and recognize that the age of the property presents special problems that are difficult to satisfy everyone.

I have not been here but 4 months. Office staff is helpful. We had a few maintenace issues that were worked out quickly except one that still needs fixed. Also they are updating flooring in the hallways. They are incomplete at this time so not sure how well I can rate that.

We are really liking our apartment. Staff is very friendly. Jessica and Abby thank you for letting us live here .Very clean apartment, nice neighbors, very friendly atmosphere. I like that you need a key to enter the building for safety purposes.

Pretty good, reasonable people. Feels safe. Not really any fault of you own, but the building feels very old, very creaky floors. Also there should be a upgrade to the locked doors where key FOBs are used instead of normal keys. I spend a lot of time unlocking doors, where I would love to just wave a key FOB at a sensor and it automatically unlocks.

Get the hot water fixed and put a security camera in the lobby so packages stop getting stolen. Clean the carpets in the halls ?fix broken lights in halls. Try to have the pool open on a normal schedule?it's always closing. Washers and dryers are out of order all the time. Elevator takes you to basement and then recalls to 1st floor without opening the door at basement. Fix some stuff already!!!!!

It is a good and quiet community. I have not had any issues with any of my neighbors in the building is well insulated so there is very little noise between apartments. I have not had any issues since moving in.

've been living at Fountain Lake Apartments, and overall, my experience has been positive. The location is convenient, the apartments are spacious, and maintenance is responsive. The community feels safe, and the amenities, such as the gym and pool, are well-maintained. However, I've noticed that some tenants let their dogs poop near the doors by the dumpster. Each building has three doors?the main entrance and two doors on the left and right of the hallway?and this issue mostly happens by the side doors. Sometimes, people accidentally step on the poop and track it into the hallway, which is nasty and gross. I strongly recommend that management install cameras by these entrances to discourage this behavior and help maintain cleanliness. Additionally, noise from neighboring units can sometimes be noticeable, and parking availability could be improved. The staff is friendly and helpful, which makes resolving any issues much easier. I would recommend Fountain Lake Apartments for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to live in this area.

Fountain Lakes is a decent place to live. The rent is affordable as a college student with 2 bedrooms and a roommate. You are close to lots of attractions, campuses, and shopping. Only a few complaints about random water shutoffs for a couple of the buildings. As I now work from home this can be an inconvenience but not a deal breaker

We like our apartment. The view of the pond is nice. We love watching the wildlife. The laundry room and the elevator needs work!!! We don't know if the laundry will flood again. The lights in the carport aren't working; security issue.

WHEN I MOVED IN, THE APARTMENT WAS READY WITH ALL ITEMS WORKING AND IN GOOD CONDITION. THE OFFICE STAFF WAS VERY INTERESTED IN MAKING SURE EVERYTHING WAS ACCEPTABLE. THE BUILDING AND GROUNDS STAFF HAVE CONTINUED TO MAKE SURE THEY WOULD HELP IF I NEEDED ANY REPAIR OR HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. THE OFFICE STAFF ALSO HAS BEEN VERY KIND AND PROFESSIONAL WITH THE WORK AND HELPING WITH QUESTIONS.

Living at this apartment community has been a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I moved in, I felt welcomed and at home. The staff here go above and beyond to create a friendly and accommodating environment. They are not only approachable and helpful, but they also make an effort to get to know the residents, which really adds a personal touch. Whenever I've had a maintenance request, the response has been prompt and efficient, often resolving issues on the same day. It's reassuring to know that any problems that arise will be handled quickly and professionally. The amenities in the community are another highlight. The pool area is a great spot for relaxing, and it's clear that the management takes pride in keeping it well-maintained. Beyond the amenities, the community itself is beautifully landscaped, with well-kept gardens and common areas that add to the overall sense of peace and comfort.

My stay at Fountain Lakes has been an overall good experience. The property and buildings are old, but the maintenance team is so responsive, polite, friendly and supportive that I feel well taken care of. The property is in need of upgrades and "polish", which I hope will come over the next few months, but personally it's been satisfactory.

I've said the same thing before when reviewing. Fountain Lakes is pretty good for the value. There are other apartments charging double what Fountain Lakes is for half the square footage. That being said... you also get what you pay for. In only 2.5 years of living here: My sink has flowed backward leaving grey water on my kitchen floor, the weeds grew three feet high in my backyard before maintenance got to them, the shower water temperature is rarely consistent, our building's elevator has been "in repair" for as long as I've lived here, there have been two fire alarms, one an actual electrical fire in the basement, the other a tripped wire at 1:40 am, and the power and water go out at least once a month. Their favorite saying is, "The buildings are old". It is safe with friendly neighbors, clean, and exceptionally well-priced. Weigh the good and the bad and make an informed decision.

I have enjoyed my time here. Everyone, from the office girls to the maintenance guys, have been very responsive over the years. I feel safe in knowing that we have our own security officer. The grounds crew keeps the property in good shape. All in all, a great place to live!

I have put in maybe two maintenance requests ever so its not like it personally is affecting me in any way. Though I couldn't help but think, wow, gee, this company is getting real tight on maintenance requests. Ever since they set out new rules and regulations on maintenance requests I couldn't help but think man, this almost sounds illegal. You guys want tenants to put in new air filters, you want tenants to try fixing and clearing out pipes, this all sounds exactly what apartment complexes are meant to do, for someone who is RENTING. That is a renters right, to have things fixed, some people don't have the slightest clue on how to fix things, this is YOUR job. Not a tenants. It also sounds like youre fixing for someone to break some ----. If a pipe is clogged, send maintenance over to fix it. Geesh. Sounds like this apartment complex needs some serious staffing. Its a bit ------ and unheard of to have an apartment complex declare they are no longer fixing things that across the board, any other apartment complex would fix. I will not be renewing my lease. Can't imagine what my security deposit will look like when i move out. I better get my full security deposit back, it just sounds like this place is getting cheap as hell.

Management has since been changed during the 4 years I have lived here, and within the time of the change, I have seen a massive positive change since the previous management they had when I first moved in. The previous management/maintenance staff did not care for their tenants and it showed. The management now is far better, but of course there are still some frustrations. If people look for a cheap apartment that meets your necessary needs, this is the place I tell them about. The first year was great. Nothing was broken, everything ran smoothly. Still does almost 4 years later. The apartment itself is sustainable for our needs, and it's cheap. But, with cheap, you get what you pay for. The shared washer/dryer are constantly broken and there's always at least one that's unusable. You need to spend at LEAST $5 in quarters just to get one load dry. You're better off hauling your laundry to a laundromat because it's cheaper. Nobody takes care of the landscaping, there's constantly overgrown weeds everywhere and makes the place look ------. The weeds need pulled but their solution is just trimming them like that will fix the problem. Shocker, it wont fix anything and it will only make the weeds come back stronger. It causes excessive bugs to get into our apartment because we are on the ground level. It's disgusting. Our upstairs neighbors are awful, and no matter how often we complain about them, we get ghosted by management. They killed my container garden by throwing *cooking oil* off their balcony. Which is a huge liability issue if anything. They also continually throw trash off their balcony that lands in our patio and never bother to pick it up. Is anything done about this? No. Granted, I understand there is only so much management can do for peoples behavior, but you're telling me *nothing* was done? No letter on the door, nothing? I don't believe they have been in contact with these neighbors for any of the problems we have complained about. The parking situation is also atrocious. The lot is the most poorly laid out lot I have ever seen. My sister in law's (who also live in this complex) car has been hit in our lot, but management claims that its not their fault. Packages of mine and others are constantly stolen, but management claims its not their fault. They don't bother putting in cameras even though that is a VERY SIMPLE fix to major issues. Oh, and our building alone has caught on fire TWICE in the 4 years we have lived here. One time is bad enough but TWICE? The first time the elevator caught on fire and nobody wanted to fix the elevator for 2 years!! It is fixed now, thankfully, but there were older people I have met who lived on the 3rd floor who cant walk up and down 4 flights of stairs just to do their laundry! Get it together people... And during the first year, we had maintenance walk into our apartment to spray for bugs one of the first times we had complained about it. Without waiting to see if we were home, they went ahead and let themselves in. In the meantime, scared the ---- out of my husband and I who were ALSEEP when they came in. It was 9am on a Tuesday morning. We didn't receive a 24 hour notice of when they would be there, but a 20 minute notice! They called, I obviously did not pick up the phone because my husband and I were sleeping, and they still let themselves in. The disrespect to their tenants was unreal. Granted, Im almost positive this specific maintenance worker has since been fired, and I sure hope so, because he was awful and the 5 different people I know who live(ed) at Fountain Lake also has/had issues with this same guy. With all that being said, the really bad things that had happened were under the previous management staff, and nothing that atrocious has happened since. This is just my experience. Thank you for reading.

It's good for the most part. Except The laundry machines go down all the time and you have to pay for them with quarters. I have lost $15.75 in the short time I have been here. They will not respond to mt asking for a credit to my account. There are only 4 washers and 4 dryers for 36 apartments in each building.

Our experience at Fountain Lake Apartment Homes has been decent. Our apartment was in good condition when we moved in. The view from our balcony of the pond is beautiful. We love the view. The office staff has been very communicative with us about different things going on in the apartments. The only thing I will say is that most of the washers and dryers in the basement don't work completely or they only partially work. For instance, we've had many times where our clothes come out of the dryer after being in there for an hour and they are still completely soaked. It costs a lot of money to have to keep re-drying it. I wish they would regularly maintain the washer/dryer units because we've had frustrating experiences with it so far. But other than that, our time here has been quite good. It is very affordable here compared to other apartments and the area is safe. It would be cool if they hosted community events in the complex for all the residents to hangout and stuff. That would be fun. I know some apartment complexes that do that and it's a good way for you to get to know your neighbors and make friends. Especially since we moved in from out of state and we know no one! But I would definitely recommend this complex.

This place is just okay. It would be a lot better if they would fix the elevator. It broke August 2022, and has yet to be fixed. This is ridiculous, especially with the laundry room being in the basement. The units on the upper floors get VERY hot during the summer. My air conditioning will be running the entire month, but the apartment still is hot. I'll set the thermostat to 70, but by the end of the day it will be 76 in here. They say nothing is wrong with the air conditioning unit, but the heat is ridiculous. My electric bill is so high during the hot summer months. One month it was over $300 because the air conditioner never turned off, yet never got cold. I hate the summer months. Other than those problems, this place isn't too bad. The apartments are nice and big, and I rarely hear the neighbors. Just expect high electricity bills and don't count on an elevator.
