Great Place........RIGHT?

I have been for only 6 months, I am not ready to leave the apartments yet, but there are a couple things they might want to do. --- The lake is kinda dirty, it could be beautiful but its just dirty.(sometimes) --the workers are never the problem, but they need to fix the doors...they look old! ---the pool was shut down way to much, they said it was a problem this year, which is fine....but when I walk there and its closed, I was not happy, they should send out notices. I really do like the apartment, there are somethings that need to be cleared and fixed, but the apartments are worth the money. I have a freind who came and looked at the apartment and she liked them as well, she is picky as well, I would say out of a 10 ratings, Fountain Lake would get a 8.7 or so....just stating my thoughts!

locked out

I am very pleased with my living experience. I was locked out of my apartment, and Joe went out of his way and personally unlocked my apartment for me. I am not sure what I would have done that late in the evening. I was so impressed!! Thanks Joe!!!

Summer/Pool

I thought since summer was coming to a close I would write about how much i really enjoyed the summer here at Fountain Lakes. The pool was nice to go for a swim and to just lay by and relax. The property was beautiful and I loved taking walks every night. People were always stopping and chatting with me and I loved how friendly they were. I am excited for Fall and seeing all of the trees around the property change colors, it should be great!

Recent move in

I recently just moved into Fountain Lakes. It has been so enjoyable. The staff just recently threw a great clubhouse party! They are very personable. Joe made our move in very easy and quick! I definately had a great experience!

dirty

this complex is just plain dirty and dangerous. the stuff inside is really old and the staff keeps putting band aids on things without actually solving problems. the consultant is a ----..he walks around in ------------- and has no clue what he's doing. I was told that this was a nice place a few years ago but it sure isn't now. I'm sure someone will come up for an excuse for everything I'm saying here but once you see this place and live here you'll realize there's no excuse for the lack of quality here.

Love it!!!

My apartment is so roomy and cofortable. Great Pool and pond! It's hard to find a place that will let you have pets also, so that is a BIG plus for me! The office people are great! They have been so great and helpful whenever I need them. Very caring and understanding! Keep up the good work! :)

I recently checked out these apartments and was not impressed at all. The actual apartments were not to bad but the inside of the building seemed very old and and needed a lot of work. I needs a lot of remodeling and painting. I also heard from friends that live there that there seems to be a lot of police activity at the complex. Definitely not a place I would feel comfortable living.

Disappointed

I am very disappointed in this place and do not plan to renew my lease next year. My apartment is spacious and nice, but the entries on the sides of the buildings and the hallways need serious painting and restoring. It is very depressing to walk in the halls. It just does not have the feel of "nice." They talk about doing the hallways with paint and carpeting but I think it is just talk. Nothing ever happens and it is embarrassing to have company and have them see the halls. Also, the storm windows are warped and there is a big gap that will let cold air in during the winter. I can't wait to get out of here and go someplace else. Even my view of the lake does not take away my feeling of disappointment.

GRRRReat!

I have lived here about 1 year now, I can not wait to renew my lease! I live right next to the pool. At night the fountain really does put me to sleep. I would say if you can move here....do it. You will most defiently love it.

pitiful

oh how times have changed~ this place used to be beautiful and the people were decent~ now its becoming housing for fort waynes trash and the buildings are looking worse by the week~what a shame~ I absolutely positively do not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to live in whats becoming a ------ by a staff that just doesnt care

Amazing Staff

I love theses apartments! They really do take care of you with everything. The staff in the office is a lot better than a month ago. I hope they keep the new office guy and Sylvia. I would tell people to live here. Thank you staff.

Owners are stuck up snobs!

The owners pretend to listen to us residents but right after we leave they turn their backs on us. They like to fire staff members for no reason and replacement the staff with people who either stand out front of the office smoking or drive around in their truck smoking drugs. The new maintenance guy doesn't seem to know anything about maintenance so I only call when I have too. Talking to Sylvia is like talking to the wall. Although she is really nice she has no clue how to answer your questions. Office staff also likes to talk to older residence about other people problems so privacy is also an issue.

I love Jen! Very helpful, very friendly, and its a pleasure being able to talk to her. Unlike a lot of other receptionist, she does not think she is better than anyone that walks thru that door! So, i like the NEW GIRL and think it s ridiculous how someone can think so low of themselves to bad mouth such a sweet person.

I love my apartments

I am currently a resident of Fountain Lakes. I have lived there for 2 years now and I will keep living here. The staff is great. I was here through the big management change. Fountain Lakes management change hands and I was going to end my lease, but I saw the improvements they had done and I wanted to stay and see it through. It is so quiet in my building. You know the apartments where you can hear the people above walk around, you can hardly hear the vacummes running. I love it. The neighborhood is quiet you are by retirements homes. The grounds at Fountain Lake are great. I love to walk my puppy. I just love it. The staff are so helpful with everything.

i had a hard time finding a place who would take my baby... my golden retriever :) now that i am all moved in, I am relieved not only can my puppy live here, but i really like my apartment. my bedroom is gigantic, I hardly know what to do with all the space!

I have lived at Fountain Lake for about a year now and I love it. All of my neighbors and the people in the office are so nice. Its easy to live here, I am glad I moved!

Amazing Place to Live

I have lived at Fountain Lakes for little over 7 months now. I have lived at other apartments for 1 year at a time. Fountain Lakes is the only place I can not wait to sign another lease to keep living there another year. Fountain Lake's management is great. They are so nice and actually care enough to know you by your first name. You are not just a apt number to them. I co and sit in the office and chat with them and my neighbors for hours when I can. Every person who walks through that door they know by name. The neighbors at Fountain Lake are great. They all are nice and quiet. Me being a college student, I am one of the few, most the people there are older and they are respectful or everyone. In my building you know the neighbors and they are all so nice. The maintance workers are great also, they always fix the things in a timely matter. I even asked for them to install things for me and they do. They call after they have been out and they actually care about what you think. I can not think of anything I do not like at Fountain Lakes. I have been to 3 other apartment complex and none compair to Fountain Lakes. I would and will always recommend Fountain Lakes to anyone. I already have a friend living there because they loved it when they came over.

Love my apartment and the office staff!

I've been in my apartment at Fountain Lakes a few months now and I couldn't feel more at home. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The grounds are beautiful and the entries are always clean. I like having a secure building and the location is perfect.

Great place to live

I am completely happy at fountain lakes. They have painted, replaced windows, changed carpets, redid tiling, and more to come. They have just recently changed owners and the owners have redid all the complaints that were brought to there attention. The staff is amazing here. Their staff is great. I love it here.

This place is a joke and embarassment

If you want to take your earned paycheck which you work hard for and invest it into a ROACH INFESTED APARTMENT or you want to live in a moldy place and have mangem,ent who does nothing to fix your place, ripps you off on rent- then this is that Place there Versaiiles on the Lake or should we just call it a joke. Presenting itself as a luxury apartment, please tell me are roaches and mold- part of luxury????

I think both Sylvia and Amy do a top notch job as well as having one of the best maint team I have come across in a long time. . .I think this is an excellent place to live the residents are friendly and am about to sign my second year lease...
