Reality check
It's very apparent that an employee is writing the positive comments. Not only is it unprofessional but false advertising for real tenants. No matter what false advertising u try to put out there your true colors will prevail and maybe we will get a manager that is honest and is here for us not herself!

Really
Why do people Say things on here when the really have no idea what is going on?? Lol first off I live in the building where you say there was supposedly an armed robbery...it was not even close to that, and actually the new manager came and knocked on every single door to update us on what was happening. I know for the past 2 years I never saw the old manager knock on amyone's door when there was sn issue. I also noticed that she had one of the buildings painted on her first week here. What does her looks have anything to do with how she does her job?

Read the review below mine!
That review sums it all up. Looks like someone high up would rather have a Barbie than Sylvia. Everyone in the office is so incompetent now. And I have never felt so scared to live anywhere in my life.

Lease is up in a few months
The only thing that was keeping me here was Sylvia & Joe, but now that Sylvia left I plan on leaving as soon as my lease is up.

Not a lot of young people, but still really nice
I have notice since I have moved in, there are a lot of older people that live here. I am a college student and I do like the quiet and sometimes I like the noise. I am going to say bring in more young people. Everyone is really nice to me!

Not enough time to explain
THIS HAS ALWAYS BEEN A GREAT PLACE. I DO NOT HAVE A LOT OF TIME TO TELL YOU EVERYTHING, BUT I DO WISH WE WERE NOT MOVING! IF YOU ARE ON THE FENCE ABOUT IT, JUST GO AHEAD AND DO IT.

I'm going to miss this place :(
Lived here for about 2 1/2 years, moving to Chicago in 2 weeks and I WISH I could just take this place with me. The staff are the best, the maintenance guys take care of all the problems, it's honestly the most beautiful apartment complex in Fort Wayne. I'll miss you Sylvia & Joe!

It's a pleasure living here
I have had a bad rental history of bad experiences in the past. But living at Fountain Lakes has made apartment living so much better. I never dread walking into the leasing office. The staff is very pleasant and are straight to the point, no wishy washy stuff. Thanks Fountain Lakes!

fake
Don't be fooled. a lot of the good reviews are from the office manangers trying to make themselves look good. i lived there for 2 years and it was good when we moved in but after a year and a half they changed office managers and it went down the hole. rachael is not a very helpful person when it comes to taking care of residents. they were more interested in playing on facebook and talking on the phone than helping people. i saw them deny some prospect residents a tour of the property because they came in 10 minutes before 5pm (they close at 5pm). you would think they would be more accepting to get more residents into their apartments. also they dont tell you when they change contract guidelines. i paid a 149 deposit and was promised to get that back after i moved out. 1 month before i moved out i was told that i had to pay $50 dollars out of my deposit to clean the carpet regardless. no one ever told me that the policy changed and that i was being forced to pay something that i never agreed to in my leasing contract. somethings need some serious attention around there to make it a better place. i think you should start my some major attitude adjustments of your managing staff. best of luck to new residents. im glad i got out of there when i did. aside from making sure you pay rent at the beginning of every month youre pretty much on your own

Single......and not scared yet....?
I have lived here for two weeks. The first week was rough because as soon as I moved in they came into my apartment to put windows in. That was a pain, but now that it is over I can open my windows freely and I am happy about it. I did not get a chance to hang out by the pool this summer because I was still at my other apartment complex, but so far I do like it. Now I will keep you posted if that would change.

A Great Place for A Starter Family like me
When you go apartment searching you look for a couple things, safety, the way it looks and where it is located. I moved here from Toledo, Ohio to work for Navistar. I do not have the largest apartment in the world but its great for my fiance and my baby girl named Katie. I walk around the complex and it is just comforting to know that I can walk without being shot, ran over or mugged. Sometimes ill take my little girl to the swings and push her. She doesn't care how great or how bad the swings are. She just wants to be outside and this is the place for it. I will always remember this place even though I am being transferred to IL. Its a wonderful place, bring your kids and family. I did and I was not disappointed.

Ok......Good.......Better.......Almost Great
Living here for as long as I have, I have seen a lot of changes go on in the property. From the switching managers and people in the office to them not filling up the pond as they use to. They have put new carpet in the hallway and new paint in the hallway. Which is great because I never had people over because the Sea Foam green color when I moved in was ugly. As long as the apartments keep slowly upgrading then I will decide to stay. I have the maintance over a hand full of times. Sometimes they do not fix the problem right away but they always complete it in the end. The grounds could use a little work.....the hallways are done people so lets work on the outsides!

I have recently gotten engaged and am pregnant with our second child. I have reviewed many differant complexes and was referred here by a friend. I was wondering if anyone could give me personal expierence stories from this complex? I would appreciate it very much! Should be moving in here around Nov...

Very Nice Place.....
There is a lot of different changes going on this complex. I have lived here in the same apartment for about 8 years. Everytime I resign my lease, I have gotten my carpet cleaned for free. I know how expensive that could be so having it done for free is a really great thing. They have gone through and repainted and recarpeted the building. It is a very nice place to live.

BEST APARTMENTS IN FORT WAYNE!!!
I have lived in a couple aparments, including Canterbury, Stone Pointe, and Dupont Lakes, but when I got home from doing the military thing, I decided to look for something better. My wife and I did a 3 day tour of nearly every reputable apartment in Fort Wayne. The first one we tried was Fountain Lake, I knew from that one visit that this was going to be the future home for my wife and child. All the amenities, floorplan, neighbors, atmosphere, and all were great, but what really sold me was the office staff. Joe especially is the most honest and helpful leasing agent you'll ever have the pleasure of doing business with. The building has awesome security features that are absent in all other apartment complexes. In detail, anyone who does not live in the building, cannot access it. Only those who lease are given a building key, sometimes a pain, but very safe feature. It is a smaller, tight knit community, and one of the few who actually pays attention to who there are letting in the place. The floorplans are huge! I have a bigger bedroom than most 2500 Sq ft houses do! And what is especially nice is that the company continues to invest in itself. Since ive been here (3 months) they have redone the entire carpet in every single buildings, put in better windows in every window in every building, repaint all the hallways, and repaint all the doors. The maintenance staff is hardworking and friendly, and does an excellent job with the renovations. Fountain Lakes is also in an ideal location, being located close to IPFW, kroger, Wal-Mart, Target restaurants, the mall, and enertainment. Fountain Lakes is a massive improvement over those other "reputable" complexes listed above, and i wouldnt want to live anywhere else!

Fountain Lake Apartment Homes Review
Moving to Fort Wayne after living in New York City was really tough because of the apartments i was used to in NYC. i was looking at apartments all over Fort Wayne and this was the only apartment that really stood out. The atmosphere is very welcoming and all the neighbors are like family. The maintenance of the facility is very clean which makes it nice for when our children go out to play. The apartment themselves are wonderful. The person who leased us the apartment was very polite and very professional. i love how spacious the rooms are and how well each room flows within the apartment.

Visit
I have been researching the apartment complexes in the area for my daughter who is hoping to move to an apartment within a year or so. I visited the property on a Saturday and was taken for a tour by Joe. I looked at 2 bedroom apartments. They were all spacious and clean. He was kind enough to answer questions regarding security, grounds, rent and anything else I could think of. It is a nice property and I will reccommend it to my daughter when she gets ready to move. Also, love that it is so close to IPFW. As I have continued my research I came across this website and jsut wanted to say thank you Joe for your time!!
