Overall good community. Not the greatest "bang for your buck" but a great location and newer facilities. If you have a choice, live in building B. It is significantly safer as all of the low income housing is done in building A.

Amenities are nice but it's too expensive, especially since the location is far from everything and is still being gentrified. I would not recommend this apartment primarily based on how much the rent is.

The move in was very smooth and the staff are nice and helpful. The community is well kept and the amenities are impressive. The best part is being located near public transportation, a short walk to the station.

The facilities are clean and organized. The people are warm and welcoming. There are lots of amenities that allow you super convenient access that you'd otherwise have to travel across town to utilize.

MetroMark is conveniently located near plenty of transportation options, green space, and great restaurants. The building amentities are so great and the property is really well taken care of. Despite having previous tenants, we felt like we were moving into a brand new space!

Beautiful apartments, but poor construction. I can see the wood in between the plaster. Therefore insulation is nonexistent. For a "luxury" apartment it is on the cheaper end but again poor insulation.

Nice and friendly staff. Packages in a nice smart system make it easy to pick up. Easy to get to the orange line. Once construction is done it will be a lot easier to drive around. New and energy efficient helps with bills.

Metro Mark is great! The apartments are spacious and newly built. Laundry in-unit and central air are huge perks, as are the amenities that come with the building. I love the gym and the outdoor space.

Nice new apartment work good amenities. Reasonable quiet due to new construction materials. Maintenance staff is great!! Location near the subway is convenient. Also great location in terms of proximity to Southwest corridor park.

MetroMark is easily convenient to public transportation. The orange line train is just a quick 3-5 minute walk across the street. Down side is limited street parking & dogs peeing all over the complex.

I enjoy living at MetroMark ? my neighbors are pleasant and sociable, and the staff are very helpful. The dog living community sets MetroMark apart from other communities. The amenities are also well maintained, and they organize events to get us together. I relocated from CA and I felt at ease from the moment I arrived!

The management staff is very friendly and responsive to all/ any issues that arises. I love the location- very convenient for public transit. Also love the dog friendly community! The dog park in the complex is also a nice perk.

Great amenities and friendly staff! The apartments are new and the staff work hard to keep the facilities clean. Close proximity to the T makes commuting to work very easy. Rooftop and courtyards have grills and are perfect for entertaining. Love living here!

Great. Like in unit laundry and pet amenities. Train can be a little loud but nothing more than typical city noise. All the common areas are nice as well, including the wifi that is available there. Overall, great value!

Metromark has courteous and helpful staff, and great amenities. The complex benefits from cleanly new construction and comunity rooms. Unfortunately the "high efficiency" in-unit dryers require at least two runs to dry a load of laundry.

Great experience so far. Just have issues with the dog mess in elevators hallways and around the property pet owners are insensitive with this issue. If they can control this it would bean amazing community

Good amenities, friendly and responsive staff. Shawn, Gloria, and Kelly are Great! Free parking for first three months is a plus. Community events about once a month are subsidized. The package concierge are also friendly and helpful.

We absolutely love the staff and many of our neighbors. Having this many apartments in close proximity, you are bound to have many different types of people. We have found most of them to be friendly, considerate neighbors. Desk staff are personable, approachable, and helpful. Maintenance is responsive and thorough. My only complaint is that some dog owners do not clean up after their animals. We are happy to live in a pet friendly building, and some of this comes with the territory, but repeat offenders can get annoying.

I fell in love with the overall vibe of Metro Mark and the staff was a huge part of that! Everyone was so genuine and friendly. Since I've moved in, every time I come home to our new home I get a sense of peace. I love living here!

The place amazing amenities including a great set up for a medium size pup. The place is close to a beautiful park and a walking path for those that love running and walking with pets. I'm really looking forward to enjoy the common BBQ area and the rooftop this summer.

We recently moved in-- the move in process left a bit to be desired, but the apartment itself is spacious and beautiful. We are looking forward to enjoying the location, community, and dog-friendly atmosphere that we've heard so much about.

Well... I'd give these apartments 3/5 stars. While it's nice living in an apartment complex with a washer and dryer in unit, and so close to public transportation it is very expensive even for their smallest units. We live in a unit where the door opens to the outside to Washington Street, there is always traffic noise and when school lets out in the afternoon the conversations held by these students are easily heard through the glass as if my window is open. There is a bench just outside the main doors going into the building that residents love to sit and smoke on. Since my window is so close to it in the summers when it's open i often have to get up and shut it so my home doesn't smell like cancer and cigarettes! This is very frustrating. The bus lot across the street gets moving around 4:30am and when it does the noise level increases often times waking me up. Bus drivers are very friendly and love to give a honk of their horns to say thank you to other cars and this is not appreciated especially before 8 am... The dog run in the back is clean but just rocks and dirt, the dirt turns to mud after even the smallest storm and big puddles form easily. The rocks may as well be glass to my dogs feet because when she runs on it to play it cuts her paws up bad... unfortunately there are no off leash dog parks in Jamaica Plain so this is all we have to work with for now. Very much looking forward to moving out, but since moving is such a hasstle it'll have to wait till we're better able to afford a home, in a quiet part of town, with a grass yard, no where near Loud coverations or busy streets.

I had my doubts about living in a large, newly-constructed building like MetroMark, but so far I have very few complaints. The time between requesting information, taking a tour, viewing possible units, and signing the lease was very quick - only about 1 week - and the staff was extremely helpful and responsive during the process. We're very happy with our apartment. The only downside we have is hearing the trains - orange line, Acela, and commuter rail - every few minutes. Despite that, we love the brand new appliances, our view over the Southwest Corridor, and the excellent staff.

Overall my family and I have had the best possible experience with all staff members at MetroMark, Jamaica Plain. We really enjoy doing life here! MetroMark is close to the Orange Line for quick commuter rides into downtown and it is very close to our son's elementary school. MetroMark has incredible amenities, too. I love the access to the different common areas that include grilling stations, work out room, roof decks, television, and game rooms. Plus, MetroMark is a pet friendly community. Our dog loves the dog run!

I love Metromark! It's the best deal considering its newness, location, and amenities! I plan on renewing my lease for the third year. I love the sun roof, close access to the T and other fun things to do on Centre St.!
