So far average? some things better done not so great compared to other places. The whole variable rent thing would normally make me say infinitely worse but I am reserving judgment since it's been a while since I rented. It's horribly disappointing that you take advantage of people like that and don't just advertise rates as standard and consistent. If I need to rent in future I will make it appoint to avoid any property that does this as it is disgusting in my opinion.

As a young couple, the MetroMark apartments have been a great fit for us. It's a great value and the amenities (gym, parking, roof deck, and community entertainment rooms) are awesome. I have lived in other apartments in Jamaica Plain and living at MetroMark has been the best experience so far.

Dealing with office staff can be problematic as they always approach questions as an annoyance to them and with the assumption that the resident is doing something wrong, even when it is a simple miscommunication or error in billing or payment. Processes for things like parking seem illogical and only for the property management's benefit, not the resident. Residents are overall rude and do not obey common courtesies such as properly disposing of trash and recycling. Location is great and a good reason to stay, however there are a number of negatives.

Great community, staff are always nice and very helpful. Any maintenance requests are completed quickly and completely. Neighbors are nice and grounds are well maintained. Especially if you have a dog - this place is ideal!

The community is nice however the stairwells smell quite a bit and do not seem to get cleaned. Additionally there seems to be an issues with the fire alarms making noise at all hours in multiple different apartments

From touring the building to signing the lease, getting the keys and moving in it was a very smooth process. The staff is very happy to assist in showing the ways different things work around the buildings and the community. With a quick commute to downtown it still has a quiet atmosphere to relax in.

Apartment is nice, amenities are nice too. Very close to the train. Pretty quiet building overall, I can play music though without having issues. The only problem I do have is with the showers. They don't maintain temperature well, at least mine doesn't. Too hot or too cold, some kind of energy efficient shower.

Living here has been a great experience. The amenities are very good. The gym has most of the equipment you would ever need and there are numerous entertainment rooms. In the summer the rooftop garden is lovely.

It has been really great so far. The amenities are awesome and the building feels new and great. The only thing is that this is luxury living with a luxury price. I just wish the utilities can included in the rent as it is very expensive to leave here. Regardless the dog friendliness of this community is phenomenal and part of the reason I moved in!

I had a terrible move in experience, being that the manager at the office is not professional. She was not happy with me not doing my part of the work (not having a check ready the first thing in the morning and have a copy of signed lease ready for her). That is my fault, but she complains about it and having a really big attitude about it. The room itself is clean and well equipped. It has a dryer and washer at my place. The noise is something you cannot ignore, you can hear the orange line coming though the tunnel (forest hill) every 6 or 8 minutes as well as the commuter railway.

This is A very convenient place to live. The train station is less than a five minute walk from the building. Amenities are good. It's really convenient to have a gym on site. The valet trash service is very helpful. Friendly staff.

The property is well maintained. They work at there best to make sure the residents, are satisfied. The units are very gorgeous and nice appliances. The building is very quiet and peaceful and safe. They answer any of your concerns to the be best of there ability.

Overall this is a nice apartment complex. The staff is nice and the place is kept clean. They are mostly pet friendly (would like to be able to take the dog more places), but I do believe that they can enforce the residents to do a better job with cleaning up after their pets. The apartments are nice and well done, other than some bumps that can be felt on the floorboard the finishes in the kitchen is well done.

Management attention to this property has waned over the last few years. The office is slow to respond to requests and answers are not always correct. Common areas are not as well maintained now that the building is full. There is NOT a concierge on the premises except for limited times.

The experience is fine. The building is close to my office and the living space is efficient and comfortable. However, there is a significant issue with pet waste in the building. There is a strong smell of urine. Communal carpets must ripped out and replaced.

The apartment is nice and staff is very nice. I like the valet trash service and fast response of when there are issues. The pets sometimes could be issues the owners do not make sure their buddies behave. By that I mean pissy elevator and dog ---- at door step

Not worth the rent. Public space is always dirty and everything is broken : elevators, garage door, entrance doors. Very loud and always smells in public space. Poor response from office when issues arrive

This apartment is very new so the furniture and basic supplies are all in a nice condition. I like the way they contact all the residents by concierg emails and they're putting every effort to make the service better. The instructions before you move in are clear, there are staff collecting trash almost every day, leasing team is very friendly. They provide print service for free, the game room, public kitchen, barbecue area add more value to the whole living experience. If you're looking for a quiet and friendly neighborhood, this should be a nice choice.

Terrific moving in experience - was able to hold an elevator for the duration of the move. The staff was friendly, and helpful - just moved in, but so far it has been great. The location is very dog-friendly, with a washing area, and several locations to walk your dog.
