The overall experience has been fine; however, I think there should've been a email about the trash service/fee; to see if the tenants would be interested in this service. There was no need to have a trash service that cost us an additional $30 a month when we can just drop our trash off for free. Some things are just not needed. I guess it's just another way to raise rent.

Super staff that's very responsive to the Tenants's needs. Previous landlord required tenants to obtain parking permits for residents and guests or be subject to towing. The current owners quickly assessed the situation and responded to pleasure of the tenants by revoking the permit requirements

Initially, the apartment community was okay. However, the community has since gone down. The caliber of residents has changed, the grounds and hallways are no longer well-kept. As well as safety being an issue.

It is relatively nice but back in August a tenant had 4 tires stolen from his vehicle. This has me really concerned. I reported the poor parking lot lighting to management and it has been address so hopefully this will not keep happening!

Not as safe as I would like. There have been recent break-ins and there are no security patrols. The front office staff is helpful and accommodating, but are understaffed and have been unavailable at times when we have needed them. I am thinking of looking elsewhere once my agreement expires.

Pros: Lots of greenery, feels safe, large rooms, and washer/dryer in-unit Cons: I had a very rude neighbor. (They had loud music always playing. They were CONSTANTLY talking/laughing loudly on the porch at night. Marijuana fumes always came through the vents from that same neighbor.) Management change caused rent to go up ridiculously high. A Very Short Eviction Notice. Only Two Trash Compactors for the WHOLE property. Noise from Bowie Stadium Isolated by huge highway No nearby bus stop. The walls and floors are very thin.

Its been an absolute pleasure to live here. I was worried about living on a first floor level. To my surprise it is extremely quiet. The grounds are kept neatly. They even pick our trash up from our doors three days per week.

Even though I have only live in the apartment for a month, so far so good. I'm loving the area, my apartment space, and the quietness of the surrounding neighbors and neighborhood. The office staff are very friendly, courteous, and quick to help.

I am going into my third year at this community. The first year and a half was good. However, during the course of 2017, the community and management has begun to detorioate. Firstly, I raised concerns about other residents smoking marijuana and playing music late at night; but it has gone unanswered. Secondly, parking has become an absolute nightmare - my car has been damaged, leaving me with thousands of dollars in repair, because the resident manager failed to properly do her job (i can provide more information and evidence, if needed). Thirdly, children congregate in the gym without adult supervision. According to the house rules, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult; I assume a resident of this community. Lastly, residents need to be held accountable for not cleaning up after their pets (dogs). I hope that these items will be addressed and resolved, otherwise this survey would be a exercise in futility.

Currently this is my 3rd apartment that I've rented and by far it is the worst experience. The service is here is the worst , you can put a complaint but the issues are never solved and the price does not match the service . Please fix your issues.

The overall experience is good. It's a nice quiet, clean community and my neighbors are VERY nice people. I have noticed some changes in service since the management changed. We have doorside trash pickup now, but the dumpster sitting out near the entrance to the complex is unsightly and difficult to see at night.

The new management company is not as responsive as the old mgmt. company.The grounds around the trash compactor area are not well kept. lack of responsiveness of maintenance. Be mind full that your are paying all utilities; electric, water, gas and those things need to not you are looking at huge utility bills

When we first moved here from NY, it was great! Renting here isn't dirt cheap but the apartments are nice. However, there has been an increase in stolen tires in the complex. More and more families are having all four tires stolen off of their cars and the complex doesn't even have security cameras. Tires are not cheap and it would be nice if they took residents seriously and took the steps to make us feel safe. Governor's Green gets more than enough money from us to put some cameras in place.

Leasing office staff members are extremely courteous and attentive. It's a welcoming experience when you notice that the leasing staff members know the tenants by name. And the maintenance staff is always fast to complete service requests.

I have to admit I had a smooth move in process. No complaints! Staff was always accommodating- Jay and Jerry. The only gripe was the manager. She can be a whole lot more open and friendly. Each visit to the office she was always in her office not interacting with staff or customers. I would have rated staff a 5/5, but my experience with the manager-the way she talked to my son brought the score down to a 3/5. But overall a good experience.

This has been a mixed bag. While i can see the complex is improving on cosmetics the buildings and parking lots are poorly lit. People have broken into mailboxes, and parking is always an issue more assigned parking spaces would be helpful to assure parking in front of your building

We've only been here for a little over a month. We did have a problem with out stove that was quickly fixed. So far we love the community. Office staff has been very friendly, both Jerry and Dontae have been pleasant to work with. Lynn in the office had also been very helpful the times I've called with questions.

The office staff is professional however, I am not satisfied with the upkeep of the property grounds. Shrubs have not been trim in six months and the gabage compactor seems to be out of order to often. I would also like to also see the update of kitchen appliances.

I have enjoy the entire process of moving into Governor Green. The staff addressed all.my questions and concerns. On move in day everything went very smooth and was extremely organized. My apartment was clean and just waiting for me to move
