Nice quiet neighborhood. Has a community feel. Only complaint is that it is right next to 50/3 and you can often hear the traffic (I'm on the front of the neighborhood). Parking is fairly easy even though it's not assigned.

I am not pleased with how some tenants don't clean up after their dogs and all the leasing office does is send out letters they DO NOT adhere to. The gym and park need a face lift badly. They are old.

On October 2, 2021, my car was vandalized. My tires and wheels were stolen. This has been ongoing. The office stated, there is nothing we can do. You park at your own risk. No cameras or security. The apartments are also outdated and old for the amount of money you pay monthly

I like it here very much, but do not have any interaction with the staff. The neighbors are all quite nice. Everyone is very polite, and the majority of noise comes from the highway. I like the small dog park.

So the new gym they have been completing since the beginning of the year is still not complete (almost 8 months) don't expect the gym anytime soon. Mold in the unit- maintenance "completed" the work order , it's still there and I had to go to the office to question anything still no call back.

Overall, its a great community. It's safe and near major landmarks and highways. Most request are handled in a timely fashion. Most of the office staff is professional, polite and attentative to requests and/ or concerns.

Good location - near 50 and plenty of retail! well maintained for the age of the property. However everything is dated, especially appliances, counter tops and cabinetry !! This is 2021. Where's the stainless and at least laminate hardwood!!!

I have lived here almost 6 years. It's a great community, feels safe, grounds are kept clean daily and I'm close to the stores and things I need. I'm 35-45 minutes from DCA airport and 30-35 minutes from BWI

Living here is very quiet and peaceful. I enjoy the fact that it is close to 50 so I can get to work on time. It also has alot of nearby stores and restaurants that are nice. Staff is friendly and maintenance are always on top of their work.

UPDATE: August 2021 I took a break from cleaning toilet fecal matter mess off the bathroom floor….yet again….for the 5th time in the 8months since I’ve lived here, to write this update. In addition to what I said previously (nothing has changed since then), the toilets clogging every other week is just something I never expected to have to deal with. Management said they were short staffed and that’s why emergencies, like toilets overflowing with human waste, has no one is on staff to fix it. The office has been closed “due to an emergency” all week. Today is Wednesday, and they are open, but no maintenance staff present to handle the issues. Besides the comment on the original Google review post from management, and a phone call saying exactly the same thing, management has offered absolutely nothing in the form of tangible recompense or appeasement to rectify any of the previous issues I’ve had. As the toilet water and fecal matter make a lake on my bathroom floor, I pause to wonder what the the people who own this gigantic complex are doing with the multi millions of dollars folks like me are paying them. I’m sure they aren’t swimming in toilet water on Wednesday morning. Original post 6/2021: We moved in December 2020. Every month since February I’ve had major plumbing /water/leak issues. It is 7:30 am on June 11th as I write this, and I woke up to a flood in my kitchen—one week after the garbage disposal was replaced from the LAST flood. Additionally, we have zero access to any amenities. All of the equipment has been removed from the fitness room with no information as to when it will be reopened , in mid-May they told us the pool will remain closed all summer, the playground equipment is rusted, broken, and locked with no access. Covid restrictions were one thing, but as things began to open up, the management has had no communication with us and we have no access to any “amenities”. The rent remains over $2,000/month. I have reached out to management and gotten zero response about any of this. Frankly, paying over $2000/month in rent for a basic apartment , with zero access to any of the amentities and zero communication from management about any of the issues I've had really makes me feel like I was bamboozled.

It has been good! I have not had to many problems with my unit. The staff has been helpful most of the time. I am glad to see some maintenance on the trees. I gave thumps us on all the service call to my unit.

Governor Brigde is a nice environment 9/ since this ross bought this apartment thing have changed to bad about maintenance is 1/10% my experience with their maintenance is terrible not once more than 4times .

WHEN PREVIOUS MGMT DECIDED THAT TRASH WOULD BE PICKED UP FROM EACH TENANTS DOOR, IT BECAME A PROBLEM. SOMETIME S IT WAS PICKED UP SOMETIMES IT WASN'T. THEN YOU WERE TOLD HOW MUCH TRASH YOU OULD PUT OUTSIDE LIMIT (2) BAGS, THEN IT WASN'T DAILY PICK UPS. THE EXPLANATION FOR IT WAS TOO MUCH TRASH WAS BEING PUT IN THE BIG DUMPSTER SITES, BUT YET THAT TRASH WAS ONLY PICKED UP ONCE A WEEK AND THEY HIRED THESE SMALL PICK UP TRUCKS FOR THE JOB AND WHERE DO YOU THINK THE CONTRACTORS DUMED THE TRASH THEY COLLECTED FROM THE TENANTS? IN THE BIG ONSITE DUMPSTERS AND ALL OTHER DAYS OR WHEN THEY DON'T SHOW UP AT ALL THE TENANTS STILL HAVE TO DRIVE THEIR TRASH TO THE BIG DUMPSTERS ANYWAY. WHY AER WE PAYING FOR A NON-RELIABLE SERVICE THAT WE DIDN'T ASK FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE. IN THE MONTH OF MAY MY TRASH WAS PIKED UP (1) TIME. IN THE MONTH OF JUNE TRASH SAT OUTSIDE MY DOOR FOR 4 DAYS, WHEN I CALLED THE RENTAL OFC TO COMPLAIN THEY SENT A PORTER UP TO GET THE (2) BAGS, I HAVE SEND THEM COME INTO MY BLDG AND NOT GO TO EVERY FLOOR AND COLLECT THE TENANTS TRASH. FROM THE END OF JUNE TO JULY 2ND ANTS WERE IN MY TRASH AND SOME TYPE OF WILD ANIMAL GOT INTO THE TRASH AND HAD IT EVERYWHERE. BUT WHEN I OPEN MY DOOR JULY 3RD AND SAW THAT A LARGE POSSUM STARING AT ME AND HAD GOT IN THE TRASH. IT WAS THE FINAL STRAW. DUE TO THE UNPROFESSIONAL SANITATION SERVICES THAT HAVE BEEN PROVIDED IT HAS BEOME UNSAFE AND DANGEROUS OUTSIDE THE TENANTS DOORS. ITS HOT , TRASH BEING OUTSIDE DRAWS ALL KINDS OF INSECTS AND OTHER ANIMALS TO THE SMELL OF TRASH. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND I AM QUITE SURE IT IS A HOUSING VIOLATION. I REFUSE TO CONTINUE TO JUST PAY INTO A SERVICE I AM NOT RECEIVING

It is in the perfect location. You are next to route 50 to go into DC or go to Annapolis or the beach areas in Delaware or Ocean City.Neighbors are nice and friendly and so is the staff in the office.

Well the air conditioner in my unit isn't working every time someone comes to fix it, it never actually continues to work its about summer time right now so 82 inside is ridiculous. At this point I'm not sure what to do .

Since I just recently moved in I've met some beautiful Neighbors I have seen maintenance come by and do their proper cleaning and pick up the trash so that's a great big plus parking can be a little interesting

I moved out a few months ago, and overall the apartment is not bad, but if you like peace and quiet, do not move in the middle of the community. Cars blasting music all times of the day, people fixing cars in the garages, people throwing trash in the stairway. The staff will listen to your complaint but will not call you back or show any concern, especially the managers. Maintenance isn't too bad because they get the job done and they will take care of your ticket within 48 hours, but you can tell the apartments are pretty old and are not really considered a luxury apartment community, and they do not have many amenities, but the apartments are really spacious.

Mostly pleasant apartment community. The apartments are spacious and clean for the most part. Maintenance is typically quick to respond but you may run into issues with them once in a while. Neighbors are friendly and the location of the complex is perfect. It's the best complex I've stayed in throughout PG county.

My experience was pleasant in the beginning until my downstairs neighbor began to complain (without reason) about my pet that I pay pet-rent monthly for. The office staff that would give me constant courtesy calls needed to speak to the complainant and advise her that what she was complaining about was not valid due to the community being pet friendly and it being the middle of the day. Also the lighting in the parking lot is a big issue. As a safety precaution the parking lot needs more lighting.

This place is gone downhill within the past year. People throw trash anywhere. Cars have been broken into and there was a shooting on 5/17 that the leasing office didn't even inform us about. Thing are not looking good!

My stay at the governors green apartment has been awesome.I have never for a day regretted renting an apartment here.The staff are courteous and the prompt response from the maintenance department is second to none.I will definitely refer more people because personally my experience here has been awesome.

This is our 2nd apartment here...we moved from 1 BR to 2BR. Typically clean, well maintained, with responsive staff. Location is ideal. Grounds are beautiful. Maintenance staff is awesome and repairs are handled quickly. Bit challenging getting staff during pandemic but everyone tried.
