The best thing about this place is location. Unfortunately it's also a bit of a problem as well. Cars get broken into from time to time. On occasion there are also youngsters out leaving empty alcohol containers scattered. Maintenance here is awful. I've had a few problems and it's never been handled right the first time. If you call up front too much, they get annoyed which is understandable. I'm sure it's not as annoying as paying for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom and having access to half of that for half a month. No one offered to prorate anything. I know it's not my property, so I'm subject to deal at my landlord's pace, but it's expensive as hell here, and this recent experience has me looking to go somewhere else.

The staff is not very eager to help or make accommodations. My experience with the person that "helped" us with the leasing process wasn't very competent and repeatedly asked for documents that were already submitted. She also made it seem like she was being inconvenienced. The apartment was not clean when we moved in. The counters were very dirty, the washer had a straight blade in it, the dryer had a tacky sticky substance stuck all around it that I had to clean out, the shelves light fixtures and vents were dusty, the cabinets all have bluish stains in and out of them. It just seemed like they didn't bother to check the apartment before declaring it move in ready. The sign on the front lawn says they have a renovated gym but there are very few pieces of equipment and the gym is small dark and dingy. None of their residents pick up their dog poop so watch where you step. The grounds are not kept very clean so you will find fast food bags, empty alcohol containers, broken glass and just garbage in general littering the ground and lawn. A lot of people don't put their trash bags in the trash container they pile it up in front of it so you'll find a mountain of trash bags. It recently snowed and the side walks and stairs weren't cleaned very well. You pay for valet trash and sometimes they don't bother picking it up. There were armed robberies on the premises and not a single email was sent out to the community regarding this. They did have police officers patrol occasionally. Overall I wouldn't recommend moving here.

I've had nothing but a positive experience with my apartment and the Governor Bridge Apartment staff. I've only had a couple issues, in the past three years, and the staff was very responsive to getting them resolved.

So far, so good. Very pleased. I'd refer family and friends to this community. I hope they continuously provide excellent customer service. I wish they had more playgrounds for the children because my son would appreciate that. But that's not a big problem.

At first excellent now decline in service and keeping the residents fresh. I do like the area the grounds are clean and parking area freshly kept. I wish the residents would get fresh do like that it would encourage you to stay.

What I like is the immediate response everytime I report maintenance issues in the unit where I stay. I feel safe in the community and staff are helpful when approached for inquiries. Facilities are also well maintained.

Attempts made by team to address maintenance requests, but the work is usually unsatisfactory and no follow up provided unless I repeat my efforts to resubmit additional requests. Team reluctant to replace bad items in unit such as dishwasher, window, stove, etc. No pleased with that at all.

I do like this community. It feels very safe and homey. Overall it is a nice place to live if you pay to have an upgraded place. I have had some maintenance issues but they tend to get resolved eventually.

2 weeks after moving in we found mold in the ceiling. After complaining twice they came and cut the drywall out the ceiling and left a hole. After a month they still haven't repaired the ceiling. Dryer doesn't fully dry the clothes. Refrigerator was leaking. Kitchen sink backed up with water and the toilet runs nonstop. Maintenance enters in even after you ask them to call and they still don't finish the request leaving equipment in the apartment behind for weeks even after you inform them it was left behind.

beautiful community but could use some renovations to the cabintry and exterior hallways. Overall, since Tamara, the property mgr came, she has been awesome and always follow up with the upmost respect and customer service. However, the staff wasn't always the same. They are gone and when they hire a new group, it would be great if they practiced this behavior and learned to follow up. Tenants should not have to always follow up and should be notified of the next steps of any requests. They could use more lighting in the parking lots as well. Especially near the back where the toyota is. Very dark area.

I like stay at governors green it's very quiet and you can park your car safely . The neighbors they are very quiet too . The police also come at night just by safety to make sure that people don't coming to park their car

The Governor Green apartments is location in a great area, it takes about 30 minutes to DC ,Baltimore and Waldorf The unit needs alot of upgrades to the appliances and bathroom fixtures. The parking lot is very dark at nigjt there need to be more light fixtures and there isnt enough parking spaces

Moving in was great , the gym is awesome I used it today and I don't even need a membership. Parking is easy neighborhood is very quiet I think im going to stay awhile . This place is nice . No rodent , no leaks , it's lovely

Awesome community! Very quiet, peaceful. All maintenance Requests have been addressed in less than 24 hours. Very clean community, endless parking for guests. Leasing office staff are very kind and friendly! What more can you ask for! The valet trash service is AMAZING!

Horrible, don't even waste your money on this place. It's outdated, maintenance does a half way job fixing thing. Half of the outlet in my apartment doesnt work, I have put in 4 maintenance request in for it and it has yet to be fixed. The apartment was dirty when I moved in, still someone's medicine in one of the cabinets. The office staff is rude as well.

A conveniently located residence with comfort and privacy. Unfortunately, most of my issues were with maintenance. Windows didn't lock; mailbox didn't lock; found paper tucked in right next to the stove burner; water often smelled like sewer; hot water was intermittent. Daily trash pickup often yielded dumped trash outside of apartments.

Front office personnel was very welcoming and professional, providing a sense of belonging and that they wanted you to be a part of the community. Tour made me hopeful in the apartment searching the process. The size was not ideal for me, but outside of that, this seemingly comes off as an apartment complex that I would love to be a part of!
