Community is beautiful. The apartment homes are very nice. The parking options are definitely a plus. However, the units are extremely small with no closet space. Other then that, this would be a perfect home.

Minimalistic at best. Neighbors are annoying. Lady next to me has loud obnoxious sex that uproars through the wall. And the 300 pound gentleman that lives above me doesn't go to bed until 7 am. Keep in mind I need to work normal day time hours so sleep is rare for me. Because he is so large every time he walks my ceiling sounds like it is going to cave in. The apartment itself is horribly insulated. But other than that, maintenance staff and office are fantastic. Ps my neighbor above me is the worst!

My experience from the moment I was contacted by a leasing specialist has not been the best. I originally was set to move in on November 19, 2020. On the day of my move-in I was informed that my unit was not ready for move-in. I ended up spending additional funds to store my household goods. In addition, the leasing specialist was not available on the day of my revised move-in date. I have not been given the information to turn on utilities. For more than three days my unit did not have natural gas to heat the home or hot water. Soon there after moving in there were security Issues. There was poor lighting throughout the general parking area, which ultimately led to several cars being stolen, vandalized or broken into. To include my vehicle, which was broken into just two weeks after I moved into the unit. In addition, I have had over 10 water intrusion or plumbing incidents while living in this unit. My time living in the community has not been very favorable and I would not recommend anyone in the federal government or military to rent in this community based on my living experience.

The staff were professional and friendly. The neighbors and neighborhood are both really nice. The local schools top tier . The location of the complex is extremely convenient being that it's off interstate 301 and 50 ans minutes from the beltway

I've been a resident at Governors Green for more than 2 years and I have mixed reviews about the complex. The location is great for close proximity to all of the local stores, metro, etc. and the amenities are a plus! Keep in mind, the rent price does increase each year . Ultimately, the maintenance is very responsive and efficient if you ever have any issues. The office staff is very friendly and responsive as well.

I have been here 4 years and I enjoy living here, it is a great community. The neighbors are friendly and it is very safe. However I have maintenance issues that were never addressed. The valet trash service is fantastic.

The previous managers were not so nice. They didn't show the level of care, like Sarah does. They really seem to show concern, whenever, I reach out to them. They always make me feel as if my concerns are important.

It's nice and quiet for the most part. There is no dumpster nearby and trash pick-up service can be dicey, so that's annoying. But, for the most part, maintenance is responsive and it's a nice, quiet community to live in.

Community is great , the staffs are not . They screen the calls and doesn't answer when you call them directly. I n order to get to them you have to use numbers that are not associated to the number on file . They do not follow protocols according to what is in the agreement of the lease. They lie for just about everything to justify actions

The living experience at Governors Green has deteriorated over the years! Specifically, landscaping, building maintenance (rusting stairways, unswept breezeways,etc.), lack of semi or annual power washing of buildings and so on. I realize that the ultimate solution is to move if I am not happy, but it would be preferable if the aforementioned problems, as well as any other were corrected. On balance, Governors Green is still not an undesirable place to live, but with some effort it could be brought back up to prior standards.

Not bad, the grounds could be maintained bettter. Parking is bad for the amount of rent here. Apartment needs new windows. The office staff is great but maintenance is slow to respond. Haven't had any security issues.

This community is very nice however the trash that is being left around not so. Trash bags are being thrown in the courtyard and in the parking lot. I don't understand why the residents think it's ok to leave trash bags in the park trash cans. Residents are not practicing good trash etiquette when it come to the community. I do love how quiet the neighborhood is and I feel safe here.

I moved on Juneth. Had a few problems with appliances and leaking. Dishwasher issue was corrected. Leaking in the closet and window still need attention. Washing machine doesn't work. Still waiting to hear back on the window closet and washing machine. I understand there are other issues in the complex...but repairing the leak has been on going for months. The machine is something that just occurred.

Management is horrible. There is no security. Traffic is bad in the area. The management is very unprofessional. They will switch up the units on you at the last minute. Be through on the walk through because there is alot of incomplete work

Community is nice. Most residents keep to themselves but also look out for their neighbors. Not much noise or drama. Very clean grounds. Free parking. Maintenance was good but recently began lacking in quality and response time.
