I just moved in last week. As of right now is real quiet so far. I love the location and very convenient to shopping centers and work. The ladies in the rental office were nice and helpful. No complaints right now so far so good besides some small issues in the apartment that maintenance needs to fix

It was good initially when I moved in. When they switched management and ownership my issues never got resolved, the office staff was mean and rude. I kept having issues and the water bill quadrupled! It has been a very bad experience!

The location is fantastic and the apartment size is great. Free parking lot with plenty of spaces is a plus. Unfortunately the level of noise from the machine outside one of the rooms and the recurrent moistures on the walls of 2 of the bedrooms have made us moved to a healthier place to live.

My Leasing Consultant was Tina and she is absolutely wonderful. I put in my application in December of 2021 and the fact that she remembered me from when I toured the apartment months before that was amazing. The grounds are always kept up and clean. The complex is extremely quiet and the maintenance staff are respectful and polite to me.

The community is nice outside of lack of security presence. Maybe install camera's and more lighting. If it doesn't increase rent, have security patrol property from time time. Curfews for underage minors.

So far since I been living here, I've had no issues. The leasing office staff has always been very friendly and professional. Whenever I needed to call for maintenance service, they've always came and fixed whatever needed to be done. I love my apartment and community. Governor Green Apartment Homes are the best.

Complaints need to be addressed & resolved. Need some camera install & monitoring. Football need to be played elsewhere other than the streets, where the cars are being hit. The kids need monitoring.

Super Noisy

WARNING: DO NOT live anywhere near a unit close to a courtyard. The kids play out there for HOURS, screaming at the top of their lungs. Either that, or these are the thinnest apartment walls in America. Kids will be kids, but it’s extremely ridiculous. The sprinklers in my apartment leaked. I can’t use my fire place, oven, or even my freaking air fryer, because the smoke detectors in my unit are the most sensitive I’ve ever seen in my 32 years on this Earth. This place is way too expensive to have to deal with this type of stuff. Would not recommend living here.

I love my apartment. The area is nice and quiet, well kept, and no issues with parking even in late hours. I like the location of the community; it is near the exit and close to many shops, restaurants, gas stations. It is very convenient.

Maintenance is not very good at a response when called. Maintenance issues are not handled in a timely matter or at all. Response from property manager and asst manger is very hard to communicate with or get a response. Mostly not at all. No direct contact from them.

I just moved in so my experience may be a bit limited. I do know the apartments are spacious and the location is wonderful. The staff is knowledgeable and professional. The overall appearance of the community is clean and welcoming.

I am pleased with the Professionalism of the new Management Team here but there are some issues that may need further consideration such as the below; 1. Windows are dated and in need of replacement. Some are not able to stay open and others are difficult to secure 2. Floors creak and carpet padding is extremely thin which causes issues for neighbors with noise complaints 3. Appliances specifically washer and dryer are dated for pricing upgrades should be considered 4. Microwaves are not included for pricing this should be considered 5. When working fireplace causes smoke detectors to alarm. Maintenance stated this is common because of the sensitivity of the smoke detectors so advertising fireplaces for apartments are misleading because they cannot be used. These concerns would definitely be a determining factor for me for renewal based on the pricing for the units

I was much happier with the owners when I first moved in, this is the third company to purchase this property and the management is less than effective and easy to work with than those in the past. I am trying to find ways to improve the communication but it has been a struggle to say the least.

I absolutely hate my stay here!!! The community has stolen my Amazon Packages I can't receive my mail in the proper mailbox. The pluming is old and the windows are hard to open . My vents are dirty! The maintenance walk into your home without consent of the lease holder!! I don't understand why the community is always having cars sitting on bricks and be vandalize.

This is overall a great community to live in. There are a lot of attractions surrounding the area (movie theaters, places to eat, Bowie Town Center, Target, Walmart, we're right next to the highway, etc). The area looks nice and the buildings are nice.

I wouldn't recommend living here. For what you pay in rent vs how your concerns are handled by the rental office are not worth it. Development is going down hill anyways. Trash and riff raft are moving in and becoming an issue. Trash is left outside and is not cleaned up by residence who cause the issue, too include the dog ----. No accountability. Look elsewhere to live. Also there are signs for no soliciting and literally in the last two weeks I have had solicitors knocking frequently on my door.
