Here is the real and honest review about this place. I work at White Marsh area and were looking for something closer to work and cheaper 2 bedroom apartments. Its true they have cheapest options available. But you get what you pay for. Really old buildings and old apartments. Dont buy their story about new washer and drier. They will sacrifice the storage room or your closet to put them in and in process contractors mess up the whole apartment while they are doing it. I have submitted application for myself and my wife for $60 around August 20th, 2017. I got approved and they have sent me the welcome letter about things I should get it done before move in. But deposit they were asking was first month rent. I was shocked since my credit is really good and my rent history is good. My rep ----- told me that she cant do anything about it since its third party company who does the credit check. I called up that company any they have sent me the same report they have send to Doncaster which clearly states that $350 SUGGESTED AS DEPOSIT. Well suddenly after I knew what was going on ----- told oh maybe its because your wife doesn't have good history, but my wife only occupant and not main applicant. Then she said oh I talked to my manager and she told me its going to be $350. as you can see they were going to take more money from me if I have not contacted third party company. Then, we agreed that on Monday 28th August, 2017 to sign the lease. before I signed the lease I had to make sure to get BGE set up, internet, insurance and etc, which I did. I showed up that day we signed the lease paid the deposit, first month rent. Only thing was left at that point is to pick up the keys on 30th of August 2017. My lease in my current apartment expires on 31st of August and I have to move out. But same day after I left the office after signing the lease, to pack my things and to pick up the Uhaul truck, they called me and said they needed my pay stub. Before all this crazy things I have submitted official letter from my business partner clearly stating that I get paid certain amount a month and yearly. I am one of the partners at my business and I dont do much hours around 20k a year. which is not enough to get qualified so I had to submit letter also which they were okay with at the beginning. Suddenly now after all this crap they needed pay stub with more money. would you believe that. I brought everything I could to get it done but it wasn't enough. And I got angry told them I will pick up my money and even if I lose $60. which I did. Manager ---------------- wont even talk to you directly, she thinks she is running a big corporation. And ----- ----- doesn't know what she is doing or talking about. You cant treat somebody like that after they sign the lease. Now only 3 days left to find a place for family and my two kids. if cant find it on time we will be out in the street because of this disgraced people. Fortunately, same day I left this place with my money I found great place called Eagles Walk apartments. with no trouble they got everything done same day I got my keys. price is $50 more but it worth it. Before I applied to Doncaster I talked to people leaving there and they were not happy at all, I wish I listened to them. Please if you need more information or questions let me know . I want to help anybody with family and kids to avoid this place.

Very clean and friendly communtity. Staff was very helpful upon move in. The resident portal is very convienent and staff responds very quickly to your needs. I just moved in and I have no problems thus far, parking is great, overall great community

I've been here six year's and I'm satisfied but the laundry room machines are terrible bring back the coin's...... Staff are beautiful, just beautiful....... With them customer service is number one and in this day it's a plus, keep up the excellent work and bring back the coin machines for laundry room.......

My experience so far at Doncaster have been good. It's not luxury and you get what you pay for but in saying that it's not bad! When we moved in everything was new and nice, haven't had any problems with neighbors. We have had a lot of your typical house bugs but we are on the first level, the property takes care of an exterminations. Overall it's been nice and I haven't had any major problems. I wouldn't reccomend these apartments to any who is super picky. But other then that it's been great!

My friends recommend here and it is really a good choice! Although the deposit was much higher than other apartment. it is close to the pine grove school and very convenient for both parents and children.

Great apartment community and great prices for the area. Love the staff! Everyone is eager to help and always professional. Great neighborhood convenient to the highway and local shopping area. I sent a request to Maintenance and they were there within an the next hour. No complaints!

The location is convenient to shopping, major roads. Kitchen is quite small and very outdated. Property not maintained well. Residents leave trash everywhere, parking is becoming a problem. The pool is great and always clean.

I enjoy it. Everyone in my apartment building is very friendly. I, in fact have become friends with one of the other residents we refer to our building as adult dorms because we just have so much fun hanging out but love we have our own space to go to at the end of the night. I also have enjoyed the pool everyone is very friendly. I would however enjoy to be able to bring Floats to the pool.

I've only been here for a few weeks, however I am already in love. My last apartment experience was horrible, and this staff has REALLY made me feel at ease with the entire move-in process as well as living here. There is ample parking too! The pool is lovely, and the life guards are super friendly to my child (very young so tons of questions). The living space is nice, and we have a washer and dryer. My first rent payment is due Aug 1st so we will see how that goes. So far so good! I will say that there isn't much around in terms of stores etc. It takes about 10 minutes to get anywhere (not a big deal). Definitely indicative of a suburban area.

A great first step in moving out on my own and experiencing life. I have had a few problems though regarding the age of the buildings and the harshness of some neighbors. My wife and I are still hoping to make a viable difference in this community during our time here.

I am happy being part of this community. The property is well maintained. Staff are friendly and accommodating. They have awesome activities when there's special occasion for the family to enjoy. When you call for some maintenance issues, they are prompt to respond. I don't have any negative things about them. I find this place a perfect home for our family.

my move in process was very smooth. I was not initially made aware of the 72 hour rule for submitting a deposit once an application is submitted but everything else was explained in detail. The grounds are well kept and neighbors are friendly.

Everything is good, except that I can't sleep during the nights because of my upstairs neighboors I can hear them walking, their t.v. everyrhing. The maintenance crew responde quickly but they do not fix things as they should.

Office staff and maintenance are all friendly and prompt. The residents don't seem to understand apartment living and make a ton of noise, my apartment constantly smells like cigarettes from my neighbors, and the office staff say they can't do anything. There is little to no insulation or padding between apartments because I can hear every step my neighbors make.

So far it has been amazing. Staff is wonderful, the dog park is always clean. The grass is always cut and clean. There is never cut grass on the side walk after being cut. The trash cans are always empty and ready to be used. The apartment is clean. You couldn't ask for a better place to live.

I was first given an UNCLEAN apartment and the uncleanliness was justified by ------------- as the pricing results in whether the apartment would be fully cleaned or not. As stated, the second apartment was given to us with a price increase. After I saw mold in the apartment, I refused to stay there.

NO PARKING!!!!!! Need more space for parking!!!! Too small of a parking area! I never can get a good parking when coming home. Parking lot also needs more lightning at night it's too dark. Please get more space for parking

Doncaster Village Apparyments is a great place to live. The staff is professional, the neighborhood is quite, clean and safe. When I first took a tour, I instinctly fell in love. I love how the bathroom looks. I love it here!

The Town-Home style apartment is wonderful. All the amenities of an a apartment with the luxury of a home. Also very spacious and comfortable with an updated kitchen along with a bar. Very happy I moved here and we will stay here for awhile.
