The apartment itself is nice, the grounds are clean and the area is quiet. The problems I have have already been listed in the previous comment sections, I hope some good can come from this survey and I hope the staff realizes that I am only trying to protect my family and my child from breathing in hazardous material.

I have lived here for going on two years and am so glad that my lease is up. The complex has several issues that had I known existed I wouldn't of moved here in the first place. On several occasions I have come home after ten PM and there would be 2 or 3 people smoking marijuana right in front of the door. Sometimes they even smoke in the building lobby so the smell lingers for hours. Several neighbors are trashy and uncouth playing loud music, leaving their laundry in the dryer or washer for hours(Each building only has two washers and dryers and they barely work and they make you pay 3.75 my last complex had free washers and dryers CR Reality is absurdly cheap and will do everything in their power to do anything the cheapest way possible) Hardly anyone in my building picks up after their pets so there are several mounds of dog feces in front of my building at this very moment. The maintenance men are atrocious they will literally walk into your apartment with barely little notice and attempt to rush everything not to mention they're barely competent. I had to call them to have them replace a tube light in a lighting fixture and in the process he dropped the old tube on the ground and it broke, needless to say I had to pick glass out of my feet for a couple days after attempting to sweep it up several times. Another issue I have with this complex is they waste so much paper. They literally send out these inept maintenance men to post notes on your door for some of the tiniest things when a phone call would suffice. Now onto the management, they need new management plain and simple. My court had an instance of a group from a particular organization soliciting on an almost daily basis when I called and complained the person in the office pretty much acted like it was a burden to even take my call let alone provide me with a satisfactory response. I've given up on calling the office to make a complaint or anything solely due to the fact that I wouldn't want to frustrate myself. The management company is so stuck on making as much money as possible they attempt to evict you the first week you're late. They give you an option to make payments but they literally file paper work to the court house to initiate eviction the second you're late. Along with that comes a eviction notice that they tape at the mailboxes so everyone in the building can see while checking their mail. The way the company attempts to promote themselves by participating or at least advertising community events and blood drives is entirely different then what they really are. They don't care about whatever hardships you're going through all they care about is getting you out of the apartment as quick as possible so they can hire cheap contractors to renovate the apartment and move someone else in. So, in summary I wouldn't recommend this apartment complex to anyone really. There's better options all over Baltimore County especially since these apartments are definitely pricey for the area they're in.

I have had an overall great experience at Doncaster. The maintenance staff and office staff are very helpful and responsive. My only complaint is that the appliance are extremely out dated in the apartments and should be updated once in a while.

I don't have any major complaints.There are holes underneath the bathroom sink. I moved in on Friday and I have found about 5 spiders.The cabinets and counter tops are worn and welped in bathroom and kitchen (not to bad). But nothing else other than those minor issues...I would love to see a fitness center in the coming future.

Crazy rent for the area, my apartment flooded three times from the AC backing up. Management did nothing to compensate for the literal MONTH I was without a living room which is a lot in a one bedroom apartment. The only good thing about this place was the maintenance people being cool to deal with.

There are some issues, but generally this is a nice complex. Unfortunately, the rates have increased too much in order to accommodate washer and dryers. Most people here wanted lower rents, not washers and dryers.

I love how friendly the residents and staff are at this community. This complex has truly been a God send for me. I love how quiet the community is in the evening time. I also like the mix of people that live in my court - old, young, singles, and families. You have a good mix of professions in the complex, at least on my court, that are understanding of sleep times. Even if they aren't you don't really notice because the walls are not paper thin. I like the way the apartments are laid out on each floor. They are directly side by side which I think helps.

I think before a new family moved in a new apartment,they were dreamed a new, clean, beautiful room. it is realized in Doncaster. But a suggestion from me, is paint of the room should be made earlier than the available date.So there will be adequate time to let the smell go!

It's been a pleasurable experience living at Doncaster so far. The staff has been great and maintenance has been on point. My kids really like having their own rooms which has made the house peaceful. We hope to continue to enjoy Doncaster. :)

my experience residing here at Doncaster village has really been an enlightening experience since experiencing prior complexes. No matter how many times I've contacted either the office direct or emergency, I've always received prompt attention from both sides, never was I placed on a hold since I have found that no matter who answers the phone, it's all very professional.As a tenant this is so appreciated and from my past experiences being a tenant, The Doncaster village staff sets customer service standards so many others has yet to follow

I lived there almost 21yrs ( Feb 1997) and in 2015 I fell on ice ( 3 car lengths) in the parking lot in front of the building. 4 Landum. Water is always there, and this night snow melted and refroze, apparently. I removed groceries from my trunk 6 bags and went down stuck on my back at canned goods weighing me down. I was not given any aid in my recuperation. I was then told I Had to move out on 10/31/2017.

I have lived at Doncaster Village for over a year. I have not had any issues in the community. Staff is always polite and prompt in assisting with maintenance issues or other concerns. Staff in the leasing office is always professional and pleasant.

Apartments are a good value for the money. Safe area. Downside is that Comcast is the only option for internet. Common areas are clean and in good repair. Laundry facilities work well. 12 units share one hot water heater, so sometimes the temperature of showers fluctuates a lot.

This community has been a good fit, and the staff/ maintenance crew has been helpful since I've moved in. The grounds are well kept, the pool area is clean, and the apartments are awesome with the upgraded kitchen features. Overall, Doncaster is a good living space.

Maintenance and office staff are very friendly and professional. Grounds are well maintained and kept clean. Interior common ares are kept very clean. Maintenance issues are answered quickly and usually correctly the 1st time.

I enjoy living here at Doncaster. The staff are very nice and helpful. The maintenance staff are quick to fix a problem. The amenities are nice- just this week they were cleaning up the pool. It's close to the beltway, so it's easy to go east or west from here.

Not a good apartment complex. Everything is very old, especially the appliances. Requesting new appliances has gotten me no where fast. Neighbors are loud and formal complaints don't do anything. The staff is nice and will make lots of promises about how they can help, but nothing ever comes from it, whether it's replacing appliances or quieting down neighbors or anything else that you request. Overall this is a poor quality apartment with a staff that is pleasant but unwilling to follow through with any requests you may have. I would not recommend this complex to anyone. I have been a loyal resident for 2 1/2 years with on time payments and no complaints against me, but it really means nothing. My advice would be to spend a little extra and get into a nicer place.

The apartment is a good size in comparison to price. Parking can be a problem sometimes and I think that they should try to add more spaces. It's nice to finally have a working washer and dryer inside the unit because when they had community washer and dryers there were only two per building, which meant 2 washer and dryers per 12 apartments and most of the time one of them was broken and took forever to be fixed. Staff is friendly here and most try to help with whatever they can. Neighborhood is decent and I can live with my dog which was a deal breaker for me. Overall, I'd give it a 7/10. You get what you pay for. Happy apartment hunting!

I first came across Doncaster Village over twenty-five years ago when a friend moved in. She was very happy here for along time until a job moved her out of the area. Over the summer my friend and I were looking for an apartment. We both have a limited income from Social Security Disability and to our surprise our combined income was enough to qualify. Everyone is so nice here and the grounds are beautiful! I have no plans on moving anytime soon!!!

Doncaster Villiage is a very nice place to live. If you are looking for a quiet place that is out of the way yet still close to local shopping and big name stores, then this is a great location. My family and I moved here recently and love the quiet and scenic environment that has quick access to so many attractions and stores. My commute into Baltimore City for work is less than 30 minutes.
