This community has a lot of potential if it utilized it's online website to communicate, but does not make an effort to update the community calendar. Also, i would request outlets in the hallways of the building so that plug in air fresheners could be placed by residents

The office staff is nice and understanding. The maintenance does a good job keeping up with things. The neighbors are quiet and nice. There's enough parking, but some isn't right at your front door. The emergency staff definitely has quick response time.

I really like the area and how everything has been at Doncaster for the past two years--I'm on my third lease now. I have already referred one person I work with to move here and they love the location as well. Beside a few very minor things there is really nothing negative about living in Doncaster.

I have lived here two years and have only ever had minor problems. The biggest is that before I was suppose to have my apartment upgraded (appliances and countertops) before I moved in, I even put off moving in to have this done. Yet, when I arrived it was never done. I was compensated for the missing upgrades and they were eventually done, but it didn't make for a good first impression. The only other problem I had was my above neighbor had wood floors and was an extremely loud walker (like having Godzilla above me) and had a kid that liked to jump around at 11pm. However, she moved and all new tenants have carped apartments (new neighbors are great). I have always found the staff very polite and helpful and my neighbors (with the exception of Godzilla) are very kind and quite. I have never felt unsafe walking outside at night or sleeping with the windows open. The only things I would like to see changed/improved are: -Not putting late rent notices on tenants mail boxes. This has never happened to me but I can see how it would really embarrass people. -Upgrade the AC units. Esp. for the two bed room units, they can keep the apartment reasonably cool (never been sweltering) but run constantly. They just seem under-sized for the apartment. -Get fiber optic put in so I can finally ditch Comcast.

I would highly recommend this apartment community. I rented a 1 bedroom apartment for myself and my two dogs. The building was quiet, neighboors friendly, and the grounds were kept clean. A good area with no crime. I never once saw a cop car in the community. Matinence requests were taken care of immediately, lease office staff are very nice and willing to help with whatever they can. The new pool is very nice and not always flooded with a bunch of kids. I'd say this community is one of the best in the area for the price.

Horrible Maintenance - I reported a problem with my refrigerator 5 times. Each time they came in and left a note saying it was fixed. It continued to drip and leak water on the floor. They did a horrible job cleaning the sidewalks and lots when it snowed and there was never any follow-up with complaints. The other residents never cleaned up after their dogs. The place was dark and scarey at night. I did not feel safe.

I cannot wait for my lease to end so that I can move out. The staff is HORRIBLE. I've lived here for about 3 years now but once the lease Is done I am NOT willing to give them a second chance. The grounds maintainence people blow leaves on my patio(I live on a lower level apartment), the maintainence staff is RUDE!!! There's one that always has the phone overnight he's medium build & wears glasses once I locked myself out I had to drive all the way to D.C to get my spare key with a friend he definately made me feel like he was doing me a huge favor coming out to let me in. Well its his work. The manager Michael is VERY short in conversation & rude. I don't know how they think they can get away with their rudeness. The pool was downsized & is filthy. I have found dog poop by my patio & the maintainence people wouldnt do anything about it. Please don't dare be late in rent too the harrasment without tact will not end. You definately want to know that if hard times should come by you want someone to approach you with tact and not rudeness. I've lived other places where the staff have tact. They did improve on overnight lighting but parking is a NIGHTMARE. They need to tow away cars of people that don't live on their property. If Im paying rent o expect a space close to my house not walking almost a mile & a half in the cold because my neighbor has over about 8 cars of visitors. Please don't move here. If you do don't say you weren't warned. I regret my decision. I had an option in whitemarsh & that's exactly where I'll move to. My stove has also broken down so many times about 7 its very old and rusty but they would rather fix it than replace it. I just have had it with this place.

Horrible. Do not move here. I'm moving out because the community has gone downhill. My girlfriend and I have been harassed by tenants (hitting the ceiling with a broom), treated poorly by staff (harassment complaints will not be taken seriously and the staff will always side with the harasser) and stalked by tenants (there are some sketchy people here). The real kicker is that pot smoking is not taken seriously. The property manager stated that tenants can smoke pot because the cops do not take it seriously. How do I know this? When I complained about it, the property manager told me this. The property manager also told me that the apartment complex is safe even though there are always cops on the premises. There was one cop that would constantly watch a dangerous tenant. Also, noise complaints will not be taken seriously. People that drive around here will always blare their music... ALWAYS. If you move here, expect your apartment to shake from the car basses. Also, expect to hear horrible rap music around the clock. But if you like loud basses and horrible rap music you should seriously rent here. The people who right positive reviews about Doncaster are either really deluded or have the expectation that Doncaster will give them discount if they write a positive review (look at the dates of the reviews).

I moved here in 2013 due to the reasonable rent price. The best thing about living here is the sense of safty and security of the area, the neighbors are friendly and the police station is not too far away. The staff are friendly and can resolve all issues within a few hours , and the maintenance staff is professional and good at what they do. The surrounding area is quiet but full of things to do , Towson is only a 10 minuet drive away. I would recommend this place to college students, young professionals and even older people. Pet friendly is a plus !!

We are coming to the close of our third year of living in this community. Our experience has been positive the entire time. The office staff is friendly and professional. Since we've been here, there has been a complete turn-over of office staff with absolutely no change in the level of curtesy and professionalism. The grounds are regularly manicured. There is plenty of parking. Maintence requests are answered promptly. The community is quiet and safe. I would recommend this community to anybody!

When first moving here I was happy . The apartment was nice and clean and it had a pool. The school across the street is great ! But over the year I have had done issues with neighbors.... Luckily I think they have been resolved . Hope to be here a couple more years .

I moved here in November of 2008. I love the area and the price of the apartment when I moved in. However, the rent keeps increasing and I have had to get another job to make ends meet because although the rent increases people do not get raises to compensate for the increase. There is a lot of space available to use as a dog park for those of us who have 3+ jobs and can not take our dogs for those nice long walks that they deserve. Washers and dryers in unit would also be very wonderful. If utilities were included and washers and dryers were added in the homes I would stay for year 6.

I have lived in the community for 10 years however I have noticed that the quality of care of the common areas have drastically deteriorated over the past couple of years. Maintenance does not regularly clean and vacuum the stairs hallways and the laundry room. Overall I have had a very positive experience.

Office and maintenance staff have always been professional and efficient. Property is well maintained, needed repairs have been few and far between. Appliances are showing their age but still functional. Could use some cosmetic improvements. Main drawback is an 88% rent increase in the 11 years Ive been here.

the school situation is not clear, after i move in the apt, i found that the school does not fit my girl, but the consulate did not explain it clearly, so perhaps they should strengthen the knowledge.

I enjoy living here. The neighbors in the building (particularly above me) have no consideration when it comes to the amount of noise they make. Her child runs around all hours and she vacuums in the middle of the night on most nights. Also she over-waters her plants on the balcony which makes lots of water come down on my balcony. I have spoken with her about these things but obviously she doesn't care. I have spoken with leasing and nothing has been done so I am just dealing with it...which is unfair to me and my children.

I have really enjoyed living in this community. The office staff is very friendly and I have never had a problem with get service requests done. My only issue thus far is with a neighbor who bangs on the ceiling because we have kids and they are active at times.
