Horrible! They can't get their accounting right. Office staff is unpleasant and unresponsive. You can hear everything your neighbors are doing at all times because the walls are paper thin. If you think it's a friendly place with friendly staff, think again, Rebecca in particular is the worst!! Go somewhere else, it's not worth the money!! Watch out for your deposit as well, doubtful you'll get it back. On the contrary, you'll get a call from a collections office regarding fees you were never made aware of... and don't bother asking for any type of paperwork to support their charges, they'll never provide anything. Lake view sounds great, but you wouldn't believe the smells and noise from the younger crowd burning rubber in the parking lot at night.

    Very clean, very safe, and right on the Black Creek Greenway. Great view of Crabtree Lake. Convenient to I-40, RDU Airport, RTP, great restaurants and shopping. Granite counter-tops, composite hardwood flooring in kitchen and laundry room. Modern; Nothing is outdated; Great floor-plan; Very beautiful place to live. Prompt and thorough maintenance and very attentive office staff.

      My wife and I have been living here for about 5 months and really love the area. I was absolutely ready to get out of Raleigh and was so happy to find a place as nice as this. I have lived at some of the upscale apartments in North Hills Raleigh and they don't even compare. Also, you can't beat this price for what you actually get, and it is still really convenient to everything. The amenities are great. Great pool, gym, business center with free coffee/tea/wifi, dog park, greenways, everything. The staff even recently threw us a pool party (Family friendly) and had it catered by rally point. I really couldn't complain if I wanted to. Just to touch on a complaint I read on here. Yes you can hear some noise if you have a neighbor that doesn't keep in mind that they are living around others..but seriously, put on your grown-up pants, go upstairs and ask them to keep it down- it will happen anywhere, and most will be respectful when made aware.

        Overall, I think this is a nice place to live. I've lived at Weston Lakeside since 2008. The grounds are very pretty and the apartments have nice features and are pretty spacious. With that said, I've had some issues. The noise level outside is not bad at all. It's a very quiet neighborhood. I typically cannot hear my neighbors below or beside me. The HUGE issue is that the ceilings/floors have no type of noise canceling properties. I've had multiple upstairs neighbors over the years and they have had bad habits (Large dogs running laps all night and heavy footed neighbors stomping around all night...literally all night, almost every night.) It sounds like somebody is bouncing a basketball above my head. My ceiling fan shakes and the pictures on my walls shake. This has caused severe sleep problems for me. I am very mindful of the amount of noise I make when I walk, so I've never had any complaints from the neighbor below me. If you get unlucky and end up with someone who just doesn't care, you will not be a happy camper. My other issues are with the staff. When I first moved in, the staff was so much more attentive and genuinely friendly. There is a high turnover rate in the office, which is part of the problem. I had an issue with dead birds in my bathroom wall. The staff acted like I was a crazy person and would not do anything about it. It took almost 2 weeks for them to come up and actually look for the birds, meanwhile my apartment smelled like rotting flesh. It was disturbing on so many levels. I had a package stolen from my front door during the holidays. When I told one of the staff members she laughed at me and said "someone must have taken it!" I was furious that she would brush me off and walk away. Another issue is that with all of the painting from contractors. My curtains were ruined and it took me calling the office 3 times for someone to actually take action. When I spoke with the property manager, she was very helpful however, but it shouldn't have taken multiple attempts to get someone competent on the line. The last issue is the Rent. I'm paying a "mortgage" rate for a 1 bedroom apartment. They refused to even entertain lowing my rate. Unfortunately, this will be the last time I re-new my lease.

          Absolutely the best. The office, the staff, the maintenance workers, the amenities, the view, the price, the accessibility, the quiet, the comfort, the updates, the convenience, the cliental, the neighbors, the peacefulness, the flexibility, the affordability and more. This place has it all. They keep you well-informed of any upcoming events. You feel wanted. YOU are first, not the complex. That is extremely unique in todays society. We recently downsized and were looking for a nice, clean, safe area and we were more than surprised.             I recently had an issue and was prepared to fight with the office staff about it. However, when I contacted them they were eager to assist and understanding. They treated me like an individual and not as a faceless tenant, which is surprising in a complex of this sort. I feel like they have new management, driving the overall exterior improvements and creating a more positive outlook. If this is true, these are much needed strives to keep in competition with the new contemporary living spaces that are being built all around. In general, my apartment is great. The noise level is good (I only hear my heavy footed upstairs neighbor stomping around at all hours of the day/night), the landscaping is always on point, and unlike a lot of places I know of around here, I have NEVER had a pest problem. This is the biggest sell for me, being a northerner and not used to the amount of creepy crawlies friends at other apartment complexes deal with.

              Love Weston Lakeside! I've lived in Atlanta, Dallas, and Charlotte, and W/L offers my favorite community. Excellent 2BR/2BA floorplan, nice finishes, very responsive staff. Rebecca is the best! Great maintenance staff, excellent amenities and location, safe. Good value too. Caters to families and professionals well, not too noisy, and the landscaping is very nice. I highly recommend this community.

                This is month 5 of our...

                This is month 5 of our lease and we have yet to have our air filter changed. They put up a new TV for packages at the mail box but only on the side facing the rd not on the side where other residents are. Instead of getting a prox. system for entry into amenities they want you to wear stupid 10 cent trashy arm bands. These types of things are cheesy and show that they are not willing to fix the problem correctly but lets make our entrance sign bigger since there is a new complex going up.<br><br>Likes and Dislikes: The community is clean and is the grounds are kept nicely. I am upset that nearly 5 months of my newly signed lease I was unable to use the amenities that brought me to this location. I am now starting to see upgrades made to the apartment and it seems for all the wrong reasons. They are not being made for the use of all residents but only for show as you drive by.

                    Other then that, we enjoy...

                    Other then that, we enjoy the large apartment space and nice details our apartment has. I agree with others who have reviewed about the construction / remodeling... it definitely took a while to get the business center and gym back open. Enjoying our living at Weston Lakeside however I wish there were onsite recycling. It's a inconvenience when we are leaving town and with my one year old to make the trips to the recycling center. Also, I believe more people would recycle if it were more convenient. The extended closure of the business center and gym was frustrating, especially because they really didn't do anything structurally with the remodel. So for over a month we paid for amenities that we couldn't use. :-( However, it's open now so we are thrilled!<br><br>Likes and Dislikes: Enjoying our living at Weston Lakeside however I wish there were onsite recycling. It's a inconvenience when we are leaving town and with my one year old to make the trips to the recycling center. Also, I believe more people would recycle if it were more convenient.

                      Great location if you...

                      Great location if you are into hiking, biking or just want something quiet.<br><br>Likes and Dislikes: Maintenance people are responsive and most of the requests are fixed either same or next day. If it's something major like windows, then it might take some time since they need to get outside contractor to come in. People in the office are friendly, professional, and easy to work with. One of the things that we noticed is that pool and BBQ area get dirty and garbage bins are full by the end of Saturday. Also, (it's mostly problem with residents and their guests then management) not too many people take shower before entering the pool, so by the end of the weekend there is layer of sunblock and tan lotions in the pool.

                          We have lived here going...

                          We have lived here going on two years and absolutely love it. The quality is fantastic with beautiful crown molding and granite counter tops. We would prefer to have an option to have a garage which is really our only complaint. The staff is very nice and helpful and the area is beautiful. The complex is right on Lake Crabtree with a great path for walking/biking along the lake as well as a hiking trail. The complex is also right down the road (less than five minutes drive) to Umstead State Park. It is also very pet friendly and has multiple options for outdoor entertainment (4 different outdoor grill locations, sand volleyball court, very nice pool area, and a beautiful garden area.

                            This apartment has been...

                            This apartment has been pretty good. The grounds have some drainage issues around the mailbox so it is often muddy after a rain. There is a new apartment complex being built right beside this one and the construction noise has been quite annoying for the past year. There is also a water treatment plant close that can sometimes be smelled when the apartment is downwind (only noticeable outside at night usually). Our apartment also has problems with wasps nesting on the balcony during the spring. I will have to kill several inside the apartment a day. With that said, the apartment is usually calm and quiet which is something I have had problems with in other complexes. This complex seems to attract a more mature crowd. Low drama, nice location, nice amenities, lots of construction noise.

                              I rented an apartment...

                              I rented an apartment at Weston Lakeside from 2009 to 2013. The main reason why I rented there -and stayed- is location. Loved the easy access to walking trails, greenways, Umstead and Crabtree. The apartments are nice and the amenities above average. It has an 'upscale feel' to it that's not easy to find in other apartment complexes. The downside to it is the cost. It is expensive and they'll increase rent considerably once your lease is over. Parking can also be a challenge. They started constructing a set of new buildings and it does not look as nice as it used to. Overall, I'd recommend this place if you're interested in having easy access to outdoor activities and don't mind spending a little more. Pros - Great location. - Great place for active people. Greenways, direct access to Lake Crabtree (Mountain Biking, trails), Umstead, etc. - Nice apartments. Good size, quality interiors. Cons - Expensive. - Not enough parking space. - Common areas like stairways, halls, etc are not as clean as they should be considering the cost.

                                        I love this place. Last...

                                        I love this place. Last year around Aug I was searching for apartment complexes in the area and came across this one. It's on Lake Crabtree. Amazing view the whole day. I live on the 3rd floor facing the lake. Staff has always been ultra nice to me, so I have no complaints. The apartments are quite new compared with the other apartments in the area. It's quite calm here. No complaints at all till now.

                                          I have lived at this property since June 2008 and it is with heavy heart that I leave to take care of my family's needs. I could have not have asked for a better maintenance staff, leasing team, and management team. They are constantly trying to make the place we call HOME, a better place to live. I would encourage you to bear with them during the renovation, as they always have the best interest of the residents in the plans. I have completed surveys asking what we would like to see come to the property and many of the requests have come to life with little increases in the rent. It is conveniently located to all the fine shopping, dining, airport, and even the more relaxing side of life with the trails and the lake for walking, jogging, and kayaking on the peaceful waters of Lake Crabtree. I would encourage anyone moving to this area to secure housing at this property.

                                            Average, gym constantly...

                                            Average, gym constantly out of any means of cleaning equipment which was especially bad during flu season. Housekeeping does not even provide a bottle of spray and paper towels when the wipes are out. Many of trash cans were removed because they were overflowing, so now you will occasionally see dog walkers leave droppings in bags randomly outside, or just not clean up after their pets at all. Onsite maintenace is very friendly and helpful, but now you have to call and schedule through a 3rd party office that "handles" many complexes and whose phone staff are not professional.

                                                The employees here are outstanding!The grounds and buildings are kept in pristine condition and maintence is extremely prompt with repairs. The exercise room is cleaned daily and fresh folded hand towels are always available!
