The community is nice, but with all the fees each month the rent is always higher than previous month. I have researched different apartments in surrounding areas, and if I had done this before moving here, I would not have moved here.because what I am paying for a one bedroom apartment, I could have gotten a two bedroom in a newer complex

The property manager has a terrible attitude. Whenever questions are asked or issues presented she becomes disrespectful and condescending. The staff are mostly courteous but some are obviously influenced by the environment the property manager has created in the office.

I moved to this community Sept 2025, and so far I have no complaints! I love the neighborhood. Staff is friendly and very helpful. I love the quietness. Only complaint is hearing my upstairs neighbor's bed every time she gets in and out of it sounds like her bed is literally on the floor and about to break through my ceiling every time they get it in and out and move around, so besides that issue my apartment is great.

This is a Nice little community and the location is perfect. You have everything you need in just a 1 mile radius. The folks at the leasing office are great and very personable. The apartments are nice as well, spacious, and I enjoy having smart-home capabilities. I can control my heat/ac, unlock my doors, even turn on/off certain lights from anywhere via mobile app!

So far we are enjoying our time here. It is clean quiet neighborhood despite being on a major road. Maintenance respond quickly and resolves issues as they arise. We love that it is walking distance to bars, restaurants, and a movie theater. We will be renewing!

The staff has been really nice and helpful. They've always helped when we have had any issues or concerns. Same for the maintenance staff as well. I would say one area that could be improved is the cleanliness and appearance of the hallways and staircases. In our building in particular there is always trash, large stains and bird droppings covering the floor. This is unfortunate because the other areas are nice, but when visitors come over this is the first thing they see when entering our apartment.

I would like to provide further context about the challenges I've faced while living at the property, many of which have gone unaddressed and have significantly impacted my experience as a resident over the past two years. First and foremost, the overall cleanliness of the building has been unacceptable. Dog waste, trash, and food are regularly left in common areas, and these messes often sit for weeks?sometimes over a month?before being cleaned. This has not only been unsanitary but has also created an ongoing health concern. When I first moved into my apartment, the unit was in extremely poor condition. I have video evidence showing how dirty it was upon move-in. In addition to that, I had an ant infestation that I had to resolve on my own, and a window that was improperly sealed and had mold growing inside it. That window was eventually replaced after I submitted a request, but I believe this issue should have been addressed prior to move-in. There have also been multiple instances of poor and even distressing customer service: One evening, I called the security company regarding a domestic violence situation occurring in the unit above mine. The guard who answered told me, "That's what comes with living in an apartment," and refused to assist me. I found that response completely inappropriate and dismissive, especially given the seriousness of the situation. My vehicle was once booted and I was made to wait over two hours for the removal. I was overcharged, and although the office acknowledged it and suggested I may receive a rent credit, that never happened. My AC unit rattles so badly it sounds like it's going to fall. A maintenance worker came out, but the "solution" was to wedge cardboard and wood behind it?which had no effect. When I voiced my dissatisfaction, the maintenance man became argumentative and eventually hung up on me. I later explained this to Tequila, who apologized for his behavior. I requested that he no longer enter my apartment due to how unsafe I felt. Despite this, he attempted to return unannounced, and I had to personally ask him to leave and send someone else. Most recently, I had an upsetting encounter with Janae in the front office. I arrived five minutes before closing to get a new parking pass and was refused service. She stated that she had shut down her computer and felt I had "plenty of time" to come earlier. Her tone and demeanor were dismissive and rude. What made this worse is that I explained to Tequila afterward that I had been hospitalized for four months, which is why I couldn't come in sooner. Janae never asked why I was late?she simply assumed I was irresponsible and treated me accordingly. When I asked for the corporate number to report the experience, she replied, "What does that have to do with what we're talking about today?" This is now the third deeply negative experience I've had with staff members. The only reason I renewed my lease was because I do not currently have the health or financial capacity to move, as I have been in and out of the hospital for serious health reasons. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of care, professionalism, and responsiveness I've received from the property staff and security. I'm asking for someone from corporate to acknowledge these concerns and take meaningful action. I'm not simply voicing complaints?I'm asking for accountability and change to ensure that no other resident has to endure what I've experienced. Also, Jet is completely unprofessional.

This community has a wonderful staff who are professional and compassionate about all their residents. They are helpful in ensuring that the residents are taken care of and treated with respect. Never had an issue with responding to any of my asks of issues within my apartment or community.

Overall a good experience. Lately though trash seems to back up at the dumpster and there's more refuse discarded in common areas and parking lot. People also have gotten into the habit of thinking they're still outside when entering the common area to use the steps. Small things that could . steamroll

Staff have been professional, helpful and able to address issues readily. Maintenance team is friendly. The neighborhood is quiet considering the local traffic. As with any apartment community- people are not always concerned about others.

Everything is close as far as walking distance for food, groceries and gas. The neighborhood still have issues with parking and trash. Hard to get things updated in apartment unless I upgrade to a new apartment ??

Chris is a great maintenance man, but he can't do it all by himself. Once again they are short-staffed. This apparently has been a problem for many years. There's one guy on staff who appears totally lost. He literally can't change a lightbulb without calling for help. He also makes rude comments to tenants for example when something is broken he tells you "what did you do" or "feels fine in here" when you HVAC isn't working. Staff is good on sending out directives but not good at communicating when there are issues. Dogs are a big problem, too many off leash dogs (my husband was nearly attacked while the owner was on her phone) and dog crap on the ground. Also, though this is a non-smoking apartment there are cigarettes all over the grounds. I can smell pot coming from several neighbors. They do nothing despite complaints. My lease is coming up and I am already checking out other apartments. And some of these places are nicer and less expensive than here. I would suggest anyone interested in this place to look around a little more.

I enjoy being a resident in this community. Management, down to leasing agents, down to the maintenance team, who is very dependable and efficient. MAA Ayrsley is a great, temporary home before your home.

I love my apartment. I had some major water damage and the Manager was very responsive to my calls and the staff did an excellent job with repairs and they cleaned up after they were done. I could've tell they had been there!

I loved MAA when I first moved felt safe nothing was never stolen at my door .. the management was amazing.. but the last two years been very stressful and unhappy the apartment is not up to par the tubs and tile had mold from when moved in I have try to remove it myself no luck I have experience mice extensively bugs work order stove dryer etc .., the rent keeps going up higher there no flex program for the tenant with the economy. I think the apartments needs to be updated .there abandoned cars don't feel safe anymore. I think there a lot work that needs to get done.

The current office team has been great to work with. The website to pay monthly rent and place maintenance request is user friendly. Repairs have always been handled in a timely manner. The one negative thing is the rental rates were not as reasonable. My overall rental experience has been excellent!

During my initial year in the MAA community, the experience was fairly positive. Nevertheless, upon entering my second year, I started to observe significant changes. The increase in rent was excessively high, encompassing sewer bills, water costs, etc. Furthermore, my neighbors neglected to dispose of their dogs' waste properly.

The unit where i live is spacious with high ceilings, has a 3 bedroom and big closets with light inside in 2 of them. Also there's a washer and dryer inside. The community area is well maintained but sometimes you can see some trash laying on the ground. My biggest concern is that there's no security cameras in the community

I do not know if I can write that much but I will try. I moved here back in July after a fire destroyed my condo. I really like the amenities offered here-from the swimming pool to some of the various planned activities. Seems that matches the diverse population here which I enjoy. The location is ideal, so very convenient for shopping and traveling throughout the city. I'm very pleased with the community from Izzie and Jed in the office to many neighbors. Thank you for asking!

I have been with the complex for over 3 years and it has remained a quiet well kept community. Maintenance is very cordial and quick to complete request. The office staff is always available and willing to assist.
