Great Community

Park Ridge is one of the best apartment communities to live in. I have lived here for going on three years and couldn't be happier. It is a quiet and beautiful area conveniently located near shopping and a walking trail. The grounds are wooded and very well maintained. The office staff take care of any of your needs or concerns and make you feel at home. Maintenance is always fast and attentive to what needs to be done. I feel safe and enjoy walking on the grounds and trail.

Love this community!

I love this community! I have been here for over 10 years(I left and came right back). its a nice, quiet, well-maintained property...the staff is awesome and professional, and the won't hesitate to rectify any concern I may have. I like participating the social events, food vendors, contests, etc..and the convenience to everything tops it all off!

Great apt for unit, services, and amenities!

We just renewed our lease for our 3rd year here if that says something about how we feel. This place is probably one of the best apartments we've lived in for their services, amenities, and location! Service - the staff is second to none. Within 24 hours, you'll hear back from whoever you need to contact. From when we put in our inquiry in 2020 during the pandemic, the leasing staff immediately jumped onto us and helped us make sure that the apartment was what we were looking for. They weren't overly convincing or needed to be, they simply made sure they were answering all of our questions we've had since we couldn't physically come look at the place. Even to this day, if we need someone to look at a broken sink or a hole in the wall, they'll send someone out within 24 hours to come take care of our needs. We're super grateful of living in such a great place with kind and receptive staff!! This is important to mention, but our unit is great. We have the Waterford, the 830 sq ft 1 bd. There's plenty of space for the 2 of us to live in, with decent space for guests to sleep in the living room area with a full-sized air mattress. We have a separate laundry room space and walk-in closet. We have a patio that's facing the woods that gives a really nice feeling if we wanted to step out for a bit. Lastly, the complex is located tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in South Durham next to a woodsy trail. We are so lucky to be in a very quiet and hidden area that gives us peace and space. The complex has a private newly renovated pool with a public grill and firepit that's cleaned regularly. There's also a nice business center and exercising room. We've used all of these amenities on a regular basis. On occasions food trucks would come to our complex and they're great excuses to skip our regular dinner plans and grab something different, all within a walking distance without having to drive out somewhere. All in all, we love our place and would highly recommend to choose to live here in the South Durham area!

Nice and quite neighborhood

I have living here almost 2 years, this is a quite, wooded, and pleasant neighborhood, 101% pet friendly, It is close to a nice trail, accessible to scholls, banks, mall, restaurants, gas station, and more, The office staff is great, responsive, friendly, and maintenence response is quick, even to minor non-emergent thing. According to my personal experience I have not had any issues living here, my experience with park ridge estates has been awesome compared to the neighborhood where I lived previously.

Love Park Ridge!

I have lived here for about 3 1/2 years. The office staff is great and maintenence response is quick, even to minor non-emergent things! The grounds are well maintained and updating is done as needed. The area is quiet and wooded. Great for walking my dog. Nice little dog park, too!

Leasing process was a breeze, but it went downhill from there. Apartments were clean, but paint specks everywhere at move in. A resident falsely accused of an incident with my dog, and ultimately dog was asked to leave within 14 days (or myself and my roommate move out within 30 days). I was not given an opportunity to share what happened, and I was never provided any evidence of injuries. Felt very slighted and unheard and disrespected. Neighbors have written a passive aggressive note and left on door, felt a bit like harassment. Neighbors are loud. Parking is minimal. Maintenance requests are responded to in incredible time, but not always efficiently. Ex. Battery was replaced in smoke detector 3 times before they finally gave in and replaced device because it kept going off. Packages get lost. Overall, less than stellar experience despite being incredibly wowed at beginning of leasing and move in process. Office is often suddenly closed without warning, and office hours in general are not convenient for people who don’t work from home.

Wonderful, quiet community secluded in the trees of Durham. The community is close enough that I can bike to grocery stores and the mall. Maintenance is always quick, I havent had any major issues in the two years Ive been here.

My experience here has been "Awesome"! The Scenery itself is absolutely Beautiful. The Front Desk Staff are Real Supportive People that are willing to work with you in almost any situation. The Maintenance Staff are Excellent in Responding to repairs in a Timely fashion. It is a True Blessing to reside here.

There are literal bags of dog ---- hanging in the tree behind my building to which mgmt has done nothing about after being informed. There is still construction debris behind 903 left from siding project. The "upgrades" are completely half-assed. When the railings were downgraded to flimsy plastic, they left exposed nails and unpainted areas visible. There is actual human hair painted into my walls. After the doors were resealed, my door doesn't close unless locked.

RENTERS BEWARE!!! Upon moving out I was hit with a HUGE bill for "damages". They were not able to provide any sort of proof of charges or even give me the actual cost of the items they claimed they had to replace. The front office staff is lovely, but the corporate office will essentially make up things to charge you for when you move out. Unless you are willing to have an attorney ready to take them to court to dispute charges, be ready to fork over hundreds of dollars after you leave!

Such a nice community. Staff is amazing and very friendly. I love the 24 hour gym access. Parking is a little full at times but were very satisfied with the complex. The inside is nice and clean, very spacious. The noise level is minimal, we havent had any issues since we moved in. Im absolutely in love with this complex. I wish we had found it sooner!!

I love it here. I just resigned my lease and have no intentions to move any time soon. They complete any request within a reasonable amount of time. You get benefits from resigning leases each year. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

My experience continues to be a good one after 6 months in the community. Any maintenance issues I've experienced have been minor and addressed quickly upon reporting them. General community reinvestment projects are ongoing and a good sign that your rent is being well spent and not wasted on absent mgt companies. I still love the location outside of town yet close enough between Chp Hill and Durham. It doesn't feel like a city apartment. Really close to the ATT, good for walking, running and biking.

I really appreciated how streamlined the application process was. I spoke briefly with an employee, applied, and a few weeks later received notification that I was approved. I needed to move-in on a Sundaywhen the office was closed, and they made it very easy for me to get my key and get settled. I really appreciated the office staffs help through all of this.

I have waited to write a review until I had lived her for a few months to ensure I was not daydreaming - Park Ridge really is ALL THAT and MORE! I came across this community by chance through a mutual connection during my apartment hunt and I am so glad I did!! The community is beautifully outfitted with a newly redone pool, an excellent gym facility, lots of lush trees (and a hopping bird population), spacious apartments with quality amenities and features, a leasing office team that is delightful to work with, timely maintenance assistance, a VERY communicative administration that sends regular emails on community information and events, and I get the impression that management is frequently maintaining and improving the property. One thing that stands out when you meet other residents here (other than the fact that everyone I speak to is as enthusiastic about this community as I am!) is that many have been here for years! That is a rare find in an apartment/rental community. Many feel like transition spaces with amenities for short-term use. Park Ridge feels like home. I am very delighted with my move here and I hope to be a part of this community for a long time.

I have been at PRE for three year now, and have no intention on leaving any time soon. The community is quiet, yet friendly. The entire staff goes out of their way to make this a great place to live. They know me by name, by apartment, and by my pets! I have particularly enjoyed the pool this summer. All of the renovations are wonderful, and as always, the pool itself is beautifully maintained. Friends always comment on what a great place it is.

Best Community Around! Lived here for over a year now and have enjoyed every day. The staff here on site are very responsive to questions and maintenance requests. The Pool is refreshing and the pair of grills next to the gazebo make for a great weekend. Two reasons why I moved here: quiet, wooded scenic views and gigabit internet speeds.

Park Ridge Estates quickly became home and we do not plan on living anywhere else! The community is friendly and the surroundings are beautiful. There have been recent renovations including new pool tile and furniture and you can tell the management cares for the property.

I am both a current and previous resident of Park Ridge Estates. I moved into a 2 bdrm apt in 2018 and felt like I was the luckiest person in the world. I had a beautiful view into the tree tops and a very efficient floor plan that my friends and family were envious of. My neighbors were friendly, but not overbearing and the staff was/is very friendly, approachable and efficient. I stayed for 2 years but then moved out to sell a home still owned in another state and was gone for almost a year. After selling the house, the decision was made to not purchase another home, and there was absolutely no question where I would live. I contacted the office and spoke with ----- who made the transition so easy and exciting! I didn't think I would find an apartment better than the one I previously had, but with -----'s help I did! it is also 2 bdrms, but at basement level, newly renovated with a beautiful view of the trees. While ----- went the extra mile several times to make this transaction very smooth, I must also commend the outstanding maintenance staff. There were a few minor hiccups right after moving in, but they were addressed almost immediately and all staff were very professional, friendly and efficient. Even when I requested something that didn't need immediate help, they were there the same day! The grounds are impeccably maintained and beautiful and there has recently been an upgrade to the pool and grilling areas. In addition, the location is outstanding, with easy access to fun entertainment and sporting venues, not to mention several universities. This is a great place to live!

I have lived in Park Ridge Estates for over five years and have thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The staff is helpful and friendly. The outside appearance is always maintained. I've had very few maintenance issues but when I did they were taken care of quickly.
