Living in Arbor View is pretty noisy with all the work being done in and around the property. Several times we have put repair request in, however the 'bandaid' approach is typically taken and the issue continues. An example is the front door to our building, the lock constantly sticks and it is difficult if not impossible to open the doors. Instead of changing out the door lock, the maintenance crew just sprays WD-40, with solves the problem for only a day or two.

It's a clean and quiet place to hang one's hat. There were a few minor maintenance issues when I moved in but they were dealt with quickly. Office staff is responsive and friendly, and the community is generally pretty cool. Nice location that seems to be 15 minutes or less to any place in town. There's some noise issues thanks to Pease Airport being nearby, but that's the same with every location in Portsmouth.

Have had a lot of issues with this apartment. All have been resolved but for one although in all fairness a paid move into another unit was offered. I only have 2 more months here and and I am sure that will be resolved too.

The apartment has been great and the service requests are promptly addressed. The desire to make sure everyone is well taken care of and that any maintenance issues are addressed in a timely manner is very evident.

I have only been here for less than a month but so far the staff and other renters have been great. It is a very peaceful community to live in and it seems like the office and maintenance staff are always willing to help out and want to give you the best living experience yet

Was not pleased at the beginning of our moving moved in on top of people still working in building was told it was moved in ready.Don't quite understand why I was charged still for moving in when they were not ready for us...

Staff is awesome. Grounds are kept up nicely. Apartments should be updated periodically, every 5 years maybe? You can't avoid wear and tear, especially on the flooring and paint. My carpets and kitchen floor are in dire need of replacement and if I don't renew my lease, that is the reason.

The 'bed bugs' were brought in BY MY ROOMMATE. Not ArborView's problem. They were amazing and took care of it. They paid for an exterminator twice to come in and treat the issue. Management was responsive and took care of everything quickly. It's been a wonderful place to live. I would highly recommend.

I have only lived here since December. And by mid February my bedroom was infested with bedbugs......will NOT be renewing my lease. I have never ever had bedbugs or any parasites in my life......the most disgusting THING EVER.

Not awful but certainly not worth the rent I pay. It's dirty, dumpster is always overflowing. Spiders and beetles all around the outside entry and in my apartment often. Washer is always breaking and overflowing and maintenance does not come fix it in a timely manner. Office staff is rude and condescending. If you're thinking of renting here, look else where. This place is a headache

The current owners have put a lot of work and thought into making this a great place to live. From the fire pit, to the pool and playground, they have shown that they really want to make this an excellent community. The poo prints program for dog owners is fantastic, and has drastically reduced the issue of pet owners not cleaning up after their dogs.

From the outside, everything is great. Landscaping and amenities are updates and ample. Interior of apartments are dated, damaged and unclean. Windows are old and dirty and don't open easily. Neighbors are loud and rude, with a few exception of course. Staff is kind and helpful but they really need to focus less on updating the outside areas and update the apartments.

Apartments are old and out dated. Property is fixed with band aids rather then the appropriate fix. Issues with heating during coldest months of the winter there was no heat in my unit for multiple days. Only positive is close to downtown and other amenities that Portsmouth has to offer. Over priced for what is offered and utilities are not properly managed.

It's a nice place to rent especially if ypu have a family. The pool is great in the summer along with the fire pit and grills. My son loves the playground and there is even a park for us to take our pup. You get a lot of space and amenities for the amount you pay. It's a great value for a Portsmouth NH rental!

My current experience is not excellent. I have an active mold problem and managements ability to fix the incoming water/moisture let alone the active black mold is disappointing. I had to call the city to get them to even start.

The apartments are ideally-located. We don't have any issues with the neighbors, but the yearly rent increases are a burden and the staff are not reliable to fix maintence issues. It is unclear if this is any office staff issue or one with the maintence staff. The apartments appear adequate upon move-in, but don't seem to be made well enough for several years of residence.

I like living here. This place has issues and problems as all communities do. Sometimes I feel these issues aren't addressed in a timely manner. But I have noticed a dramatic improvement since the latest management team has been in place.

I would rather not say anything because it's all negative . But if I must the rent goes up every year and nothing has ever been updated and I have had more issues with my unit then probably all units combined I have pictures of every problem I have had with my unit since the new ownership of the property if it wasn't for my family and work I would probably move!

Office staff is great, grounds are very well kept. Neighbors are very friendly. There's plenty of parking for guests. You get an assigned Parking spot as well so you don't have to worry. In the winter they are great about keeping up with the snow removal and are great with making sure that the dumpsters are emptied often so you don't have to search for a place to put the trash.

Don't let the outside fool you. It's a lot better than it looks and the leasing staff have always been friendly and willing to answer my questions. Not to mention the complex seems to have everything very close by, even an airport.

I liked the apartments but the hot water for the showers was an issue. I wasn't a fan of the designated parking spots because people became trivial with their spots. Snow removal wasn't that great and it took them awhile to respond to maintenance issues. They also don't have a way to recycle.

The move-in was easy. Everything we needed was here, the staff are easy to get in touch with if need be, the maintenance crew is very helpful, and the amenities here (pool, grilling area, fitness center, etc.) are hard to beat!

We were fortunate to find a pet friendly, clean complex. We applaud management for enforcing reasonable rules regarding pets. Neighborhood is quiet and people respect privacy of others while still being friendly.
