Love it
I want very much to let you know how happy I am to live at hilltop….staff is helpful, kind, caring and take a personal interest in my well being.The landscaping efforts in the spring, summer and fall make the grounds so special. So far our winters have been mild …but whenever there is ice or snow it is promptly removed so that we can safely drive or walk. It’s like living in a resort!The residents are generally warm and friendly and I especially like that we have a mix of all ages.When I invite friends here to visit they are amazed. They are impressed by my apartment ….by the cleanliness of the lobby and hallways and of course by the glorious site and the grounds and by the amenities . They usually say” I did even know a place like this existed!”

Beautiful community with a professional team supporting it. Well manicured and maintained landscaping. Units have lovely light. On site team is responsive to questions and concerns . Close to NYC transit hubs.

When you move in the apartment will be in great condition; however, what you get will be what will be there for your lease term, no matter how long you stay (especially for appliances). The lobby is in desperate need of an upgrade.

It's always very quiet, The grounds are well kept and the office staff are pleasant. When work orders are placed, you are contacted right away. There are many group activities to get evolved in. Very comfortable place to live

Highlands at Hilltop is well maintained and the staff is friendly and efficient. The rooms are generously sized, and there is little to no noise from adjacent apartments. Highlands is pet friendly, which was an important factor in our move. The amenities are great? two clubhouses, two pools, dog run, basketball, pickle and tennis.

My wife and I have been living here for 11 years. We love it here and have no plans to leave. We see many new properties in very nice towns bu none of them give we have gotten here. We like to be near shopping and restaurants without hearing traffic from bust streets and being in an area that is more scenic and just removed enough from all the traffic. This is the only place in this area that provides that. It also provides outstanding maintenance, most dog friendly environment and much mor.

My partner and I were very pleased with how easy of a move-in it was and everyone was so welcoming. It's a gorgeous property that we really wanted to start our first foray into living together. We can't wait to enjoy the amenities (and the two pools) this summer.

Great apartment in well maintained community. Really nice office team. Pool, gym, club house and many more. Good location with no through traffic. We made new friends through community parties and events.

Beautiful grounds, lovely staff... units could use some updating to keep up with newer construction in the area. Otherwise great experience living here for almost three years, will absolutely renew when time comes.

We have found it to be an ideal place for our needs. It is quite and well kept. The management and maintenance provide excellent service and given in a professional manner. We enjoy the walks on the reserve.

Clubhouse is nice, but not attached to any of the apartments. Difficult to get there in cold weather and rainy weather, and in difficult to use because of that. no place to charge my electric car. Poor communications to the front door.

Chris and I are very happy with our apartment and the community. The office staff and maintenance staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The grounds are in excellent condition and all maintenance are quickly resolved.

All positive, great staff, terrific exterior maintenance , however we feel the lantern fly situation needs to be improved big time!! The trees need to be sprayed by a large Tree company, all on the same day, not sporadically! This needs to be done no later then the beginning of March or last years investation will be TWICE as bad. Like many others residents, we could not use our balcony for SIX weeks. This is very important maintenance. Thank you

Your apartment is an excellent location at this time in my life. The apartment complex amenities are outstanding. There are no other apartment complexes in the area that have better amenities and access to open Parkland such as the hilltop Conservancy in the Essex County Park in Cedar Grove. The maintenance staff is generally quick to respond to all issues. Parking in both the garage in the lot. Space provided is good.

I've been living here for almost year and half, Lovely location and nice neighbors. The management has always been response and helpful, as well as the staff that helps service the property. I would recommend it for all my friends.

Responsive staff. Always welcoming. Tenants considerate and friendly toward one another. Community events and activities. Second to none! From the first phone call to inquire about available units to the minor maintenance I just had done, everyone at Highlands at Hilltop is on the same tenant-satisfaction page. This lends itself to feeling not only satisfied but secure. Thank you, Highlands!

It has been exceptional. Love the amenities and our home. Everything has a very open and grand feel. I feel very comfortable and would recommend to anyone. Office staff is always friendly and we've really loved living here. We have no complaints at all!

Overall it's been good. It has good amenities that I have been able to take advantage of and find it very convenient. The staff is very professional and nice to be around. I would like it I could own here but understand that this is a rental property.

This is a very comfortable, safe, welcoming community with an equally efficient, friendly and welcoming staff, from cleaning, maintenance and management. The facilities grounds and amenities are all kept in top shape. It's a pleasure to live here.

Great crew and amenities. We love it here! Pool part was amazing and we had a wonderful time that day! We would love to have some more parties and perhaps activities and maybe some bus trips to Broadway would be fabulous!

Being on the "HILL" at Highlands at Hilltop is all about luxury living in an amenity rich rental community. Surrounded by nature's tranquility, manicured lawns/landscaping, caring neighbors and attentive office and maintenance personnel are just some of the perks enjoyed in this hotel-like environment. It's always a pleasure coming home to our little oasis in the sky!!!

It is a nicer apartment complex but prices reflect that. There are many more people using the amenities than live there and many noisy children. Regular maintenance causes closures and staff shortages do as well - can be frustrating

The staff has always been accommodating, respectful, quick, and knowledgeable regarding any issues and questions we have had. I would recommend this property to friends and family. We are very happy with the access and proximity to schools, shops, vets, doctors offices etc. The locations is super convenient!

Location and amenities are everything I was looking for. Easy access to walking trails, beautiful outdoor pool w/grill and seating areas, tennis courts and a fitness center. Apartments and surroundings are well maintained.
