Living at the The Highlands at Hilltop has been an absolute dream; it's a quiet oasis safely tucked away from the hustle and bustle. I have never been as happy with an apartment community than I am now. When I first moved here in 2014, I knew it was a beautiful, upscale apartment community with gorgeous apartments (spacious closets, new appliances, views of NYC in the winter when the trees are bare), but did not yet know how much I would end up loving it. I soon discovered the hiking/biking/running trails of the Hilltop Reservation that are just steps away from the apartment buildings. Now there is a new park to run in that can be accessed from the trail as well, so it just adds to the wonderful outdoor experience. The apartment staff and maintenance team are extremely professional and work quickly and efficiently to solve any problems that arise. The pool, grill area, and outdoor residential areas are beautifully maintained and have been so fun to enjoy in the warm weather. The location is perfect; Verona is an adorable town with many great restaurants to try, but it is also very close to Montclair with great food and shopping. I could keep going on and on, but this place speaks for itself. I can't imagine a more perfect apartment complex and highly recommend this place to everyone!

Apartments are well maintained, spacious, quiet and comfortable, convenient to shopping, mass transportation, residents can enjoy a host of outdoor activities, and management organizes social activities for its residents!

Life here is relaxed and simple. Common areas are well-maintained and beautiful. Repairs are completed quickly and effectively. The staff is professional, helpful, and friendly. The neighbors are pleasant and the environment is quiet and peaceful.

We moved in this week and the apartment was ready and immaculate. So far can hear no neighbors and the entire grounds are perfect. All the staff are very helpful and residents very friendly. Love it so far!

Friendly atmosphere, manicured property and professional staff! Excellent ammeneties, including the gym, pool and club house! Close to shopping and towns! Buildings are meticulously cared for by maintenance and cleaning staff.

The move in was smooth and seamless and did not take long at all. The office staff was great. The three deficiencies noted on move in were professionally corrected within hours of entering the apartment.

Absolutely beautiful community really great upkeep and landscaping. Close to Nature preserve fr beautiful walks. Lots of upscale amenities. Can't say enough good about this place! never a wait for maintenance always friendly and always handled on first visit.

My husband and I enjoy living at Highlands at Hilltop. We have a wonderful view and take full advantage of the amenities. The landscaping is impeccably maintained and we get quick responses to any requests. Staff is always friendly and accommodating!

Staff very helpful and friendly. Cleanliness and overall appearance is incredible. Also the flexibility of rental - we were looking for four months and the complex was very accommodating. It is a lovely place. I would recommend adding a few things to the apartment. We have a one bedroom with a very large bathroom yet except for one tiny towel bar there is nothing else in the bathroom to assist with hanging towels etc. Also the absence of a linen closet in the apartment is Inconvenient. Again there is room in the bathroom for some sort of shelving etc. too much wasted space there.

The property is well maintained and very clean, we take great pride in being # 1 in the community!!! Grounds always look good, snow is handle, so never a problem. Trash rooms always sparkle! Employees are very courteous

beautiful common space and apartment is well laid out, like the high ceilings and finishes underground parking well and storage a nice feature. The grounds are really lovely. The staff is friendly and responsive.

we've been at Highlands @ Hilltop since October 2017. it's been great so far - everyone is very pleasant & helpful. I've enjoyed using the gym & walking the reserve & neighborhood. can't wait for summer to enjoy outside amenities.

The grounds are beautiful. The upstairs neighbor has been a noise problem for over a year and the office ignores pleas to do anything about it. They are "too swamped". There is a peevish and -------------- woman at the office who should have retired a long time ago...

Everything has been excellent since moving in. Response time for maintenance, cleanliness of common areas all excellent. I am surprised by how quiet it is and we hear no noise from the apartments above or next door to our apartment.

We have been here for over a year after selling our home in the area. We wanted to have something nearby without all the maintenance of home ownership. Although we are not here much, we are very pleased with everything that The Highlands has to offer. Everyone we have dealt with is always courteous and efficient... from the leasing office to the maintenance top notch and responsive. Washer and dryer in every unit and nice kitchen appliances. Beautiful setting and wonderful hiking trails out your back door. Apartments are spacious, some with balconies. Covered parking is available (for an additional cost) along with plenty of outdoor parking (no cost). We are very happy here.

I like the apartment and the staff is friendly and accomodating. I don't like the tenant below me complaining about my exercising (I don't jump) or the construction across the road. I'd like to see more trees along the road.

Beautiful location and great neighbors! Lived here when the first building opened and the new building are even nicer. Common areas are beautiful and make it feel like a community. Sunsets in the west side are stunning!

Amazing place to live. The grounds are extremely well maintained and the staff is always on top of things. They take great care of the residents and their pets! Very attentive to concerns and questions. Super professional when it comes to maintenance! The amenities here make it seem like your home is a vacation spot!
