So far it is okay. Apartments are a little tight on space. Amenities are okay, it seems that there is a high rate of turn over here. Parking is always plentiful and very animal friendly. Sunsets are gorgeous!

We looked at many places and by far the highlands at hilltop was the nicest we have seen in the area. We have only been here a short period of time but we know we make the correct decision. We love it here I beltwe will be very happy in our new home

We have enjoyed the complex and what it has to offer. It's well maintained, clean. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They often stop and chat with you. We are very pleased and happy that we have chosen this complex

Almost everything about the highlands was great. That is why were going to move there in April 2019. We did an application and were approved, but did NOT sign a lease. We soon decided not to move there because our family was going to be 6 instead of 5 (they only allow 5 people to live in a two bedroom). Due to the occupancy issue and other personal reasons we never signed the lease. The highlands however has refused to return out $2,800 deposit. Their web site says "application fees are not refundable" well I see a "$125 application fee" not a $2,800 application fee. That's sort of reasonable to keep the $125 but to keep $2,800 from a family who has never signed a lease and never lived there seems completely unfair. I have retained an attorney and will be exercising all my rights under NJ State law to get my hard earned money returned. Please be cautious when considering renting at the Highlands they very nice until you decide NOT to rent there and then use the fine print to unfairly keep your money.

Beautiful complex, clean, and friendly staff & neighbors. We've been waking up everyday & feeling like we are on vacation. I am happy about the transition & will probably never want to leave! Thanks Highlands!

Everything about our move has been perfect! Julie Gross, from the front office, was exceptional and answered every question we had in the weeks leading up to our move. She even let us come in early to pick up our keys on move in day! The community is always clean and quiet. We love the high ceilings, beautiful kitchen, and ample storage space. We also take advantage of the many beautiful amenities that the Hilltop has to offer- including two clean gyms, the golf simulator, and the clubhouse. Can't wait until it is warmer so we can use the outdoor amenities. I would definitely recommend living here!

A lovely place to live. The services make it a home. It is clean and well managed. My mother and one of my siblings have also moved in and are living close to us. It is a wonderful community with great amenities.

My husband and I have just recently moved into the Hilltop apartments in Verona and we're very happy with our choice. The apartment is beautiful, quiet and clean. The kitchen is gorgeous and the walk in closet is perfect for our storage needs. My one complaint would be the lack of overhead lighting in the living room, but lamps are an easy fix. The amenities are also beautiful and we look forward to the pool and fire pit in the summer! Julie and Sue were very kind and helpful both before, during, and after moving in. Parking spaces are easy to find for yourself and guests that visit. If you have the chance to live at Hilltop, take it!

Wonderfully maintained luxury apartments. Amenities are top notch. Love living here it. Its like living in a resort year round. The only downside is the mandatory $15 charge for a security system that I don't use or care about. Also is the town of Verona has a very high monthly water/sewer charge.

The quality of the staff and the cleanliness of the building are superior. Mainteance requests are answered promptly and effortlessly. Deliveries are simple and the parking area is clean and bright. And the landscaping is beautiful.

Beautiful community to live in. Friendly neighbors who will help with bringing up groceries etc. Great family community. Suggestions: If you do live on the 2nd or 1st floor found out a lot of research on the 3rd floor residence that would stay above you. Found out if any complaints has been filed for continuing any disrespectful noise in the early hours (3am-9am). I wish I have! Overall great communication between front office and I, trying to solve the matter.

Very friendly neighbors and staff. The grounds are very well kept, it feels like your living on a resort. The apartments are like new and very nice with great layouts available. Amenities are a huge plus, and the location is great.

This has been the perfect place for me with two dogs and a short term rental. The staff is excellent and the services prompt. The grounds are beautiful and always well kept. I line having Hilltop reservation behind the apartments for long walks and hiking with my dogs

The staff, amenities and sense of care around the community are excellent. Work orders are addressed promptly. The grounds are kept in excellent condition. In the summer, spending time at the lovely pools makes you feel like you're on vacation!
