It's been fantastic so far! Very peaceful and friendly. Maintenance is prompt and efficient. No complaints so far! Trash and recycling are taken out often so there's never overflow. I love the atmosphere at the pool area too.

Like it very much, the office and maintenance staff are very nice. I also like the location and have become pretty good friends with some of my neighbors . I also enjoy watching the wildlife being in a rear apartment. Also parking never seems to be an issue. Also, if my truck happens to break down I'm still within walking distance to everything.

There is quite a bit of nature here at Heritage Village... the deer are comfortable in the neighborhood and to see the babies is quite a sight! I have seen heron, hawk and a variety of birds , a fox once- keep your eyes open, you never know what you might see next. So glad you are able to enjoy the free nature show ! Welcome HOME!

The apartments have a lot of space for a good price. Swimming pool and tennis courts are a plus! It is not near many bus lines, but it is a quick drive to many places in Albany. There are only 10 to 12 units per building, which is good in terms of privacy.

Excellent buildings, grounds and staff. All maintenance concerns are resolved promptly. The entire staff really goes above and beyond to make Heritage feel like home. The grounds are always well maintained.

Overall we like it but for the amount of rent we pay our apartment should be in a lot better condition. Our carpet is old and had cigarette burns in it before we moved in. Our entrance to our building smells horrible because they drag out the garbage thru our front door instead of back exit

It is not always possible to remove the bins out the back doors for disposal. If this has been a problem in your building, please let the office know so we can discuss with the trash person and the hallway cleaner. Our goal is to make sure the buildings are clean. Initial rental and move-in experience have been fine. Older complex so some variability among buildings/units. I got new carpet and appliances. Bathrooms are a bit worn but clean. Unfortunate that there are no dedicated non-smoking units so beware. For me the price/sq ft was the biggest deciding factor.

Our community was built in the early 1970"s.. while we were built a while ago, we do offer up to date and large living space , great amenities - Heat Included ! pool, fitness center, free storage and a wonderfully convenient location to Everything in the capital District! We are not a Non smoking community and we have been allowing indoor cats the past year. This is true. I am glad you found the Value in our apartments and call Heritage Village HOME!

Everyone was very kind and accommodating. The facility is lovely and apartment well maintained. It is convenient to have a fitness center, pool, and laundry facilities on the premises. I have enjoyed my stay on Heritage village and would highly recommend to others.

Love the office crew, the maintenance team! Everyone is very professional. They are quick to fix all service requests. Maintenance the come into the apartment are very attentive to the fact of you having pets, and are friendly to the pets as well as the tenants. Neighbors are friendly and outgoing. Really a beautiful location! There are very nice amenities such as a pool, gym, gazebo with a garden, a tennis court, and playground for the children. Could not be more happy to have moved here.

I had a mouse in my unit, called to have exterminator come, they said I had to wait until after the weekend to have someone come because the exterminator they wanted to use did not work weekends, what a bad policy, management staff of Heritage Village and Burns Management was useless, did not provide good enough answers, did not return calls, need to be replaced.

We work to respond to situations as quickly as possible, however, we do have to work with contractors and they also have their own schedules. This was a holiday weekend as well. So far it's not great, the neighbors above me march around as if there aren't people living below them. Some of the things in my apartment are dirty and scratched up . Overlap When I moved in I was expecting to walk into an apartment that was basically brand new clean shades clean panels clean vents but I didn't .

Sorry you are having some neighbor adjustment issues. Have you spoken to your neighbors to let them know your concerns? We can't guarantee that you don't hear noise between apartments, it is a multifamily building.. but sometimes a neighbor doesn't even realize they are walking heavy ... until someone lets them know .. As far as our turn over ... we update and paint, maintenance and clean upon a new move in ... we don't change all blinds and vents etc. If there is a real concern, please notify us directly at the office. Good experience so far. The rent is reasonable, and furnishings, appliances and heating are in good condition. The neighbors are nice and considerate. It is a great place to live overall, if you are looking for a place in Guilderland area.

Apartment environment is good. But apartment itself is very old and appearance is not so beauty compare for its price. The wood should be changed into brick and the old shower stuff in bathroom also should be replaced.

They take care of the buildings and the kitchen is huge. I also like that it has big windows and a balcony. On the minus side the patio door is not air tight and lets the cold air get in, in the winter.

The window kitchen makes for a very "home like" feel to our large kitchens. The window and balcony also provide lots of natural light through out the apartment. The windows are metal frames, so sometimes they are cool in the winter weather. Have you asked the maintenance to check your patio door ? Maintenance issues get attended to quickly. I had a problem with my plumbing and people came to the apartment within a couple of hours. I appreciate the work, but it took 5 service requests to properly fix the issues.

We are living from 2017, we feel comfortable. But need heat in the shower area. Need bright light inside the building entrance door. The carpet 1st floor need to be light color to show the steps very clearly.

There was new lighting installed in all buildings with LED lights in the recent past.... so the hallways are well lit and lights are on entry , and all level of the common hall areas... the carpet in the hall is generally a walk off mat type carpet on the entry and steps so that dirt and debris is better collected before you enter your apartment home. A light color generally shows more dirt ... If you have concerns about the hallway lighting, please contact the office directly to talk to me, that way we can review your specific building and be sure the lighting is working properly.
