The apartments are very nice when they are renovated. Office staff is responsive to concerns. Common stairwells and hallways are filthy and unkempt. The door lock system is a keyed system, but certain amenities require a key fob, which is inconsistent and inconvenient. Overall the community is quiet and the units themselves are clean and well-maintained.

Common areas are a poor reflection on the community. The grass is rarely cut. The roads are littered with potholes that could ruin tires. The corridors are not maintained. Stained ACT, stained carpeting, mismatched lighting fixtures all go unaddressed by maintenance staff.

It's been ok. I have some concerns about other residents at times but the apartment is nice. The gym needs work. The air isn't on very often and there is no cleaning supplies so I have no idea if the equipment is ever cleaned.

terrible and unorganized, staff in the lobby takes very long to respond and handle situations. Bugs are infested in basically all the buildings, roaches, spiders, centipedes. Smells terrible in every hallway like nasty food or marijuana. People are loud and play music all night.

A smelly building, with snarky staff. Potholes galore, cara get vandalized. Drug dealing goes on, the building smells and my unit had roaches. Don't move here unless you like living in a --------. They will raise your rent every year and wont fix potholes for 6 months or more. They said they would spray my unit for Roaches and set useless glue traps. I moved out immediatly.

The staff here is very friendly, but not responsive to work requests in a timely manner. Prior to move-in, many items were not cleaned, the floor was coming up in places, and one of the outlets didn't work. None of those items are fixed at the time of this writing, almost 2 weeks after moving in. One plumbing issue was taken care of. The doors to the common hallway have significant gaps at the bottom, which allows odors from the hall and noise to enter the unit.

The Property Management respond to requests quickly and efficiently. At times it's difficult to get questions answered but when I need something done they respond quickly. I would recommend living here.

I hav ebeeen a resident here for 30 years now. I highly recommend that more people make Fox Hill Flats their home. It is clean, local and friendly. The new staff is great! I have lived through may poor management personnel.

I have lived here 31years and the building is just to nasty lately. Slum style and embarrassing .dogs live here now and people let them do their business where ever outside. I saw a doberman the other day with no leash

I love my apartment, but I'm not crazy about the hardwood floors of the apartment above me. Not a good idea to put hardwood floors in the apartments. It took months for the pot holes to be filled. But still a nice community.

I enjoyed living in apartment but i was a little frustrated with heating ( not enough warm) . Bad roads I am moving to better other apartment because of carpet and better heating and cooling system. I will miss here.

I've only been here for a week, but it has been nice so far. The leasing office staff are all really nice. It has been quiet at night. Plus, I have Air Conditioning and a dish washer, which are nice. I have older appliances, having picked the only apartment I could move into quickly, but overall the place is nice.

It needs updating, the floors have nail pops, the walls constantly drop drywall dust onto the floor, and it smells like smoke anytime you turn on the air. They take forever to complete work orders too!

Very good . Nice community . This community had grown over the years and I wish it continue to grow as well . This is one of the best places to stay in Monroeville at a very reasonable rates. The 4 years journey at Fox Hill is a very emotional one . We had our first baby here and celebrated many good times . Thank you Fox Hill for the service !!

I have been here 28 years and I like the community. It is a comfortable place to live, it's convenient, and I wouldn't be here this long if I didn't like it. Office staff works well especially when handling noisy neighbors

It's an ok experience. I would say that there a lot of up supervised children running around the hallways and making alot of mess in the common areas. I wish the noise level was better, you can hear your neighbors all the time

No communication and hard to get anyone to address issues or do anything about it. In my opinion it's starting to look like the projects, I guess an upscale version. You look around people hanging clothes in windows, carpet is nasty and only been cleaned once since I've been there. Laundry room is nasty also.

Since 2015, I have seen the complex go further and further downhill - I will not be renewing my lease. Management has become less responsive and sadly less concerned about resident concern. There are a few great members of the staff (shout out to Jeanine) but she is only one person who can't control everything. We have regular power outages (there are no generators in the complex), water is routinely cut off in many of the buildings (at least once per week - and we even went without hot water during the 2016 Christmas holidays for more than 3 days), snow removal is a total joke. Halls and laundry rooms are not cleaned consistently, common areas have wreaked of everything from rotting trash, to vomit and even worse: WEED. Lastly, I have had three UPS packages stolen since moving into this complex - this is a regular occurrence as various neighbors have had Christmas gifts and even baby items stolen right out from underneath them. Let's get to the inside of the unit - no even heat distribution from room to room, kitchen has very little storage space (full empty wall with NO CABINETS?!), wasted space in main bath where linen closet or stackable washer/dryer could be installed; layout of model and actual units are NOT the same (model has two more closets than the actual upgraded two bedroom units), no consistency in water or heating costs and you pay twice for water because they charge for laundry - not to mention that there are only two washers and dryers per floor. We have also submitted work orders that were never completed. What is good about this place? PRICE and LOCATION - if you want to be close to all shopping and save a few dollars each month - it is perfect. They shouldn't be able to use the word luxury to describe these units - they are section 8 housing that has been slowly remodeled over the last 8+ years using minimal materials and even less labor costs. Slap in a piece of granite, parkay flooring and black kitchen appliances and now all of a sudden you live in LUXURY? It was nice while we were saving money - now we are moving onto bigger and better things. Don't say we didn't warn you.
