I believe the leasing process could be more informative about the electricity and internet connection for the new students so that they wont face any problem when they are come here. Apart from that my stay has been quite good so far. The apartments are very spacious with all the facilities.

Vairo is a nice place to live, close to stores, campus, the highway. But there are A LOT of bugs, and everything needs updating. The apartment was not very clean upon move in, and many items are dingy and in need of replacing.

The apartment was clean and well prepared when I moved in. The neighborhood is ok. The only one complain I could have is that my apartment is located at the ground level and I can hear people living above

It is a very nice community. It's very quiet, close to downtown, friendly residents, very good staff. Cozy apartments and great hiking fields surrounding the apartments, great for all the dog lovers out there.

Pretty decent overall I guess. I don't have any specific qualms about this residence. And yes, I would recommend this residency to friends and family. The neighborhood is quiet, except for the neighbor's dogs. They are sometimes annoying, when not kept on leash.

It is a good experience. Vairo Village is a really spacious area and the apartments are spread out with good amount of interior space, I like the balconies on the second floor. Probably the only drawback is being slightly far from campus but the regular VE bus on weekdays is helpful.

I have enjoyed my time at Vairo Village since I moved in in March. The office staff is professional and always prompt in solving the occasional issues I have had since moving in. Recent parking lot paving was a nice touch. Very good access to CATABus stops too, which was very helpful while my car was in the shop recently. Laundry facilities are pretty efficient, and the little gym at the clubhouse is a nice touch. In terms of criticisms, water pressure is a bit weak from the tap/shower, but nothing major.

Good and quiet area. Convenient location. Close to walmart. Frequent bus to campus during weekdays. Has an okay gym room and laundry. But can be a little more than 5-minute walk from some apartments at the far side.

Quite place to live with plenty of amenities. The upgraded gym facility is very nice and has workout equipment for everyone. All of the staff that I have worked with are also very friendly and willing to work with your needs.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Vairo Village. When my partner and I came to move in, the ladies in the office stayed until well past office hours to ensure we could move in that night (we had already given up our last apartment). They were extremely helpful and very sweet throughout the whole process. Joanie, in particular. I have heard a lot about the women in the office but Joanie is always sunny and warm whenever I come in. The property is also very clean, quiet, and has some pretty awesome amenities.

It's a quiet environment with not much leasing office interference. They do notify us when there are changes happening to the gym or pool or lounge. They can do A better job of snow removal and they have a service blow leaves at 7am on a Saturday which I think is ridiculous. Also some of the laundry machines don't work

For the first comer to these city, this is the perfect place. However, there are some issues. One is: the ceiling is not soundproof. so you can hear if someone upstairs make any noise. Also when I moved in, the house was very dirty. I had to complain several times. But finally they took care of most of the issues. Overall, its a nice place to live in.

It has been really nice living in this apartment. The office staff are great and I have never had a problem with maintenance. When I sent in a request the service staff usually fixed the problem right away. If it required longer than one visit they would tell me when they would be back. Even with a lot of Penn State students living here, it has never been noisy.

Please do not make the mistake of moving in here. WORST STAFF WITH HORRIBLE SERVICE... Extremely unprofessional! They take advantage of students and charge fees for no apparent reason. Very poor communication and very unhelpful to tenants. Do not I repeat do not move in ....

Vairo Village has been a fantastic place to rent from. The staff are genuinely kind and I can't say enough good things about the maintenance team. Great community to live in and so close to the University where I work.

The best part of Vairo Village is the professionalism and speed with which maintenance requests are handled. The apartments are located in a nice neighborhood with proximity to stores, megabus stop and also access to interstate roads. On the downsides, the walls of the apartment are paper thin and you can hear everything happening around you. Noisy neighbors might also affect your sleep.

It is a nice community to live in, but the apartment is pretty dilapidated. Vairo/Berger seems more concerned with making the exterior of the apartments nice, rather than the interior of the apartments.

Its safe and quiet. The bus runs every 20 minutes and its close to walmart and other supermarkets. Maintenantce always come on time the only issue is that the mailbox is so far from all The apartment and its kinda causing problems

I really like living here. My apartment is nice. The amenities are great. I'm very close to shopping and entertainment. The office and maintenance staff are very friendly and helpful in all situations. The rent is very affordable for this area as well.

quiet, safe, and snow blowing on time! The apartments are big and nice; however, the furniture isn't in a good shape! The gym is not convenient, small, and not enough dumbbells or machines, heat is too high sometimes, and laundry facility isn't that good!

Great, quiet and green enviroment. Services and customer care are first class. If asked to choose an apartment again, i would look no where else. I would definately recommend a friend to get an apartment here.
