The community is good. Good service. Building and interiors need upgraded. Carpets in the apartment are I serious need of replacement and stink a lot. If possible, try having " no carpet" apartment option for potential tenants.

Though I've not lived here long, barely over a month, I'm already pleased with the accommodations. The office staff are polite, professional, and quick to respond. The groundskeeping is well done, and the maintenance staff are quick and professional.

People are very nice about evreything. Dave, who took care of my ceiling, he was absolutely kind and helpful. Office people are nice as well as neighborhood is very good. Also, easy to access to the bus stops.

The apartments here are a nice size and well maintained. Any maintenance requests are completed quickly with an explanation of what caused the problem and how it was fixed. Depending on the area your apartment is in it can be a little irritating to get your mail or do laundry. My apartment is as far as you can get from the main area where both are located and it is a long walk in cold weather. The access to the bus lines is great and there is an express bus to campus during the school year. Trash and recycling is picked up at the apartment door five days a week which is very convenient. The complex is pet friendly and well lit.

It's okay. There needs to be a washer/dryer in the apartment and we got an older one so there is no dishwasher. Since we moved in there has been water heater issues about 3 times causing floods in bathroom and closest. Community is nice and quite close to bus stop

Vairo Village is an excellent apartment complex. Admittedly, it is not too fancy or overly dressed, but it is a well managed, affordable, cozy community with excellent amenities and courteous and quick staff.

Great price and quality for a graduate student! Close to everything of need and beautiful property. All utilities included in rent is a major bonus and the amenities are fantastic. The CATA bus pass is especially nice as it save my budget on gas.

The apartment is decent quality for the price, relative to other complexes in town. The management staff can be unfriendly but I don't need to interact with them often. I love that it's in a quiet wooded neighborhood and nearby to campus, the Arboretum, and grocery stores. A downside is that dogs are allowed. Some of the dog owners don't pick up after their dogs. Also, management doesn't respond to noise complaints related to excessive dog barking.

The move-in process at Vairo Village was incredibly smooth. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Upon arrival, the apartment was clean and all of the appliances were in working condition. No complaints here!

It is a convenient community for taking CATA bus to PSU and shopping in Walmart, TJ Maxx etc. This community also provides a convenient (online request), good and immediate maintenance service. I will recommend this community to a friend.

Good for commuters. VE comes frequently. I hope the clubshouse has a printer because many of other apartments have. Other than that, it's a nice apartment. The maintenance is pretty quick and professional.

Management is good. Clean-ups are in time. Rent is relatively reasonable in this city. However, the apartment is old-furnished, no dishwasher in the apartment is definitely at disadvantage, and laundry is very inconvenient.

The website was really good in helping me and my friends when we were searching for places to stay. It's also quite affordable and really nice for us as students to live here. All the accommodations were great and closed to crucial places such as walmart. So it was a very nice experience

Quiet and convenient surroundings. Supermarket and groceries are in vicinity and it's easy to get access to bus stop that connects to campus and downtown. The carpet is a little dated but quality is okay.

I was initially wary about only being allowed to see the model and not the actual unit that was available but it all worked out great. My unit was clean and updated and the move in process was easy. Office staff were friendly and helpful!

So far I don't have much to complain about. The apartment is great and the staff has been very helpful. The parking is a bit limited with very narrow spaces. That is about the only negative thing that I have come across so far.

The place is cheap and you can put more people into an apartment which makes it cheaper. People in the office are difficult to deal with so a lot of patience is required. The buildings are old and have a lot of problems. But as a college student all I needed was a place to sleep so whatever.

it's been quiet since I have moved in, aside from the thin floors hearing the resident above me. The location in town is good for shopping, groceries, etc. I really like the accent wall program and it's probably what sold me on the place. Could have more amenities, dishwasher, washer/dryer combo for the price, but State College is an expensive place to live. Overall I like it here.

My time here has been great. These are older apartments, but they do a good job of updating and maintaining them. Staff is courteous and helpful. Nothing really to complain about. I would recommend this complex to others.

Apartment is large at a good price. Front staff has always been prompt and helpful. Area is quiet, I've never had to complain about noise at all. Good distance from campus, short commute by bus or car. Overall I've been very happy here, and have been happy to stay.

Apartment was not at the same standard of the demo unit they showed me originally. Water damaged and moldy cabinetry, disgusting smell that cant be covered up from previous tenant, and generally unclean and unmaintained units in this complex.

Here, everything is just so-so. You can hear all the noise from your neighbors, so it really matters of what kind of neighbors you have. The apartment offers $10 discount as the renewal offer or nothing, so if you plan to find a place to live longer, then this place is not right place for you. Most of all, they will charge $10 as "property admin fee" per month, so you need to consider this amount on top of the monthly rental fee. When you use a laundry facility in the apartment, you need to be careful in choosing the date or time, otherwise you end up having no available washers or dryers. My unit is built long time ago, so you can see the crevices in the walls, and the heating system is not that great. Very noisy and the place where the heater/air-conditioning is installed is extremely cold during winter as all the cold can enter near the heater area.
