My experience has been great. Complex staff have been vey professional and responsive. Maintenance requests have been handled quickly and satisfactorily. Grounds are well maintained. Complex is close to various restaurants, grocery stores and shopping areas.

During Pandemic, Sonterra would not waive a late fee as a one and only time courtesy, even during pandemic we have been blessed to pay on time and the one time I was late 1 day, they would not waive. Not even when our Mailboxes have vandalized 3 times within 6 mos and they ask residents to call USPS to arrange with them? and Not responded to certain requests.

Just started living here last year and it's been awesome so far. The complex does events that make living here fun. The only thing I would complain about is the issues the complex has had with the mailboxes being broken into. I understand that's out of their control but it's been very annoying that they didn't fix it fast enough. Other than that, I can't wait till Covid protocols are over so we can actually enjoy our amenities and what the complex has to offer.

Sonterra's apartments are poorly-kept. They are quite bold in using the word "Luxury" in their name, as when I moved in, there were loose screws and rocks all over the carpet, the garbage disposal didn't work, the grout on the tile in the bathroom was falling off, and numerous other problems that I've had to constantly call the maintenance crew about. They've got plenty of problems, but the biggest is their price. I wouldn't complain about all the things I've dealt with since moving in if it wasn't $1,300 a month for a two-bedroom.

It's been a great experience this far and I have zero (0) complaints. I'm very happy here at Sonterra. The leasing staff and maintenance staff work very hard and any work orders I submit get taken care of in a timely manner. I would recommend Sonterra Apartments to anyone looking to move in this area.

It is calm and peaceful, kids are out playing, neighbors are friendly, staff is efficient and nice. Overall have no major complaints with the community itself, the recent addition of bi-weekly emails is a nice way to stay in touch.

This has been a wonderful place to live. I had a few things in my place that needed tending to in the first couple of months, but the maintenance staff and front desk are top drawer and got it taken care of. Well groomed green spaces, clean, quiet, food truck Fridays, what more can I say?

The concrete and the walls of the buildings have mold all over them. Disgusting. And they tried cleaning it half assed using "management" but I'm not paying for the extra expenses they are gonna put on my bill for "upkeep"

Not great, huge mix up at move in. Apartment was not ready when we moved in, we filled out a move in form listing what needed to be done and turned in within the 2 day window and it was never fixed. We had to clean the shower ourselves because we received the apartment with leaks along with several other issues and they never came to clean it like were told. Also the cabinets are peeling, someone came to look at it and we never heard back on fixing it. Sometimes the trash doesn't get picked up, we have seen the people come by earlier than they're supposed to and my concerns were never addressed by the office. They also won't answer the phone.

For the most part we have enjoyed living at Sonterra. We have a lovely third floor apartment with a beautiful view of the greenbelt. Our rent is reasonable, compared to others in the apartments in the area. Sonterra has upgraded the lounges and chairs in the pool areas. However, there are a few areas of concern. Valet trash and the dumpsters and compacter are issues. Since Covid-19, some of the common areas have not been maintained as they should. Communication between the management and residents is sporadic--emails are sent out when there are events but there are rarely any notifications when there is a problem.

In the beginning it was a great community, The continental breakfasts in Phase II were nice, lots of room to hang out and meet your neighbors. Over time the amenities that we once enjoyed have disappeared. Maintenance has had to multiple time replace my house keys because a secondary contractor lost the one they were given. One of the maintenace guys made me feel like garbage when they needed to replace my entire AC unit. Telling me I was wrong and muttering things about me under his breath in my apartment now less. I haven't been able to enjoy the gym for over two years now. If you call being poisoned with perfumed air enjoyable. Everyone that goes to the gym complains about that. First it was construction now it's because of he pandemic. Sucks that we can only use it while I'm at work. 8:30am-6pm and then you have to provide an ID if you want to access the gym for phase II so I have to waist that time as well. Drive up get the dobber, hopefully someone is there and then return it before your time is up. Seriously, just open the gym and put some disinfectant in the room. Hell, you let us swim in that murky/milky pool water all summer with from what I can tell only cleaned it once the whole season. There are people with multiple dogs ranging from all sized and temperaments. There are abondon cars, Yes i know lots of people are still working from home but when a window registration reads 2017, I don't think that's the issue. As for parking most people don't park in their garage some it makes it hard for those that don't have garages to find parking. Most don't even park in from of their garage. This is just one section of phase II. I cant imagine what or how many are in the rest of the apartments. My Carpet has never been fully fixed since I first put in a request, I was offered an upgrade for signing a new lease, but when I inquired about it I got the run around. The garbage guy(s) are inconsistent, the latest one picks and chooses if he's going to get your trash. Problem is that if it's dark out the raccoons will raid your trash, so if he doesn't show up early enough, there ends up being a huge mess to clean up. Lights are always out in the walk ways. I've had two in our for over a month now and I'm still waiting on an air filter from a month ago, because Levy said there were none and would send one over when they got more in. I will say that the Apartment location and Layout is amazing. One of the best in Austin that I've seen, but I've lived in some ------ and this one is quickly becoming one. I don't know if I'm staying this next year...

I have been very happy with the beautification of the complex. I love the food truck benefits!!! The pool has been very clean and comfortable. I like that the propane at the grills are full and able to be used. I live the look and feel of my apartment. I like how lively the complex is with the kids riding their bikes around. The security needs improvement. I have been robbed, my neighbor had his car broken into and the mailbox room is broken into often. The front gate is broken often. I simply do not feel safe. I have been disappointment at the lack of response to the amenities being cut due to covid. If amenities are shut down I would like to see funds budgeted for amenities to be still spent on the residents. I think there is music being played at the pool? I would like to hear the music. I have noticed many people bringing down their own speakers.

Love the atmosphere of the staff and area. It is a great location and is always well kept. Beautiful landscape and quiet with great neighbors. The staff is helpful and makes sure you have everything you need.

I'm very pleased with our complex. Everyone is friendly and I enjoy the Food Truck Friday's the apartments offer. I hope the other activities they were able to supply before Covid hit will return soon!

There is a very weak property management. The security is not good handled. The management can not even make its own employee that lives her to not cause noise intentionally. The employee that work here causes harm and noise to the other residents.

Its awesome and Windy is great!! She definitely deserves a raise! Kenna is amazing! They should get free rent asap for being such hard and dedicated workers. Genevas cool to I guess. Would recommend to EVERYONE!!!

Nice apartment, I love all the trees, super quiet, I love the office staff (especially Windy and the skinny white guy with blonde hair and the older gentleman with glasses). Maintenance is pretty on point eventhough they hate that I keep my place pretty chilly. My only downfall would be parking. That sucks most days after 4pm and I don't believe every vehicle belongs there but it's a small price to pay for the living condition. Oh... the gate didn't always work but they are much better now. Rent isn't super expensive either just sucks with Covid but the apt complex has been real understanding so that's another plus.

It's a nice, quiet and safe community. The staff is quite helpful, the onsite maintenance is friendly and quick. The location is great as well. I'd say the only downside is the landscaping, they do not keep it up very well.

maintenance is an ongoing issue. I have issues that remain since move in. The gate is never working. I don't have a code I can punch in to let myself in. If I don't have the key fob, I can't get myself in.

Wish it wasn't getting so ------ here. Was nice when first moved in. Place is falling apart literally, trasher people moving in. Maintenance plays on the carts. Not sure if management changed. Will not be renewing.

I have lived at this complex for almost 5 years. Though there are positives to the apartment complex (lower rent, stop light access for 620), there are things that could use improvement. I feel that the apartments themselves could use small upgrades and better outside appearance (pressure washing concrete, repainting peeling paint from staircases). The maintenance and leasing specialists are very kind and knowledgeable.

Some managers a pain to work with some managers ok. Make sure you see the unit you are renting first the model is not the same! Place has bugs too. They say will will fix things but they kick the can down the road over and over untill you give up on asking.
