This is a great apartment complex - most neighbors are quiet and respectful, the grounds are very well-kept, and the staff are friendly and helpful (Levi and Geneva are fabulous!). Maintenance is good and management addresses issues quickly; they have also been exceptional during the pandemic. When I first moved in, most residents seem to prefer the quiet, but there have been new residents whose vehicles are very noisy and who play loud music in homes, which is sadly impressive as apartment walls are solid and I generally do not hear much noise from my neighbors. I will say that after-hours security is available when residents are loud late at night.

When calling in with a question or a maintenance issue the staff is courteous and the maintenance team are quick to take care of the issue. They staff are friendly and very professional and very customer service oriented.

I've enjoyed my years here at The Sonterra Apartments. The residents and management have been friendly and courteous. The location is a little away from the city but located around the beautiful hill country with Lake Travis nearby. Come visit, you'll be glad you did.

I have been having a great experience up until recently. The email communication with the office has been unacceptable. I emailed my 60 day notice in December as I was supposed to and when I recently called to get a amount of what my final rent payment would be I was told I never sent a 60 day notice. I disregard the mistake on behalf of the property. Yesterday I was sent a notice stating that I had a balance. I called the property to get a clearer understanding and I was told I received an email. I check my email quite frequently and didn't have anything. The property manager told me she called me from her personal phone to tell me about the balance also but then told me she didn't have proof of it because she deleted it. I was confused because I had received a call from the office at least a week ago about a package but didn't get one about a charge I would have. When I said that to the property manager she stated, "we don't have to call you about this", but she did about a package. It was just frustrating to be handle like this after having such a great experience until I put my notice in.

Love the little garden they maintain, love the promptness of the staff and maintenance. We moved in here and it has been one of the better apartment complexes. The office doesn't play mind games or ignore resident requests like some of the places we've stayed. The apartment complexes themselves are in good condition, electronics/utilities are functional, and the place is clean. The complex also has easy access to the main road (with a protected left turn!) We highly recommend this apartment complex!

Perfect location. Very close to Concordia University where my Grandson attends school. Plenty of shopping & restaurants nearby. Complex is well- kept. Parking lots are clean & landscaping is nice. Staff is friendly and very helpful.

Very loud neighbors (college kids throwing things off balconies and unmuffled sports cars early in the am every day), access gates more often broken than functional, mailboxes have been broken for months on end, dog poo everywhere, the two ladies of the front office are rude and give out wrong information and you're forced to interact with them to get mail since the mailboxes are always broken, no large dogs allowed and yet there are tons of them many of which are highly reactive, no playground so the kids play in the street (probably because the grass has too much dog poo) and leave toys/bikes everywhere, trash service frequently doesn't pick up trash without any notice so it stays overnight and animals get into it... only positives are the location and a decent maintenance team, also the guys in the front office are professional.

Break ins to mail boxes, vehicles, etc. Props to management for trying to keep up with everything. Need better security or at least better surveillance around the property. The community itself is nice and have no complaints other than lack of security.

A nice area to live in. I especially enjoy the garden and amenities. The staff is nice and attentive. The office always greets me over the phone with a friendly, helpful, welcoming tone. Maintenance guys take care of my requests to the T mostly. Crime has happened but very little. One Major update needed and very important is -- to fix the pipes. Plumbing is not the greatest is *my* building phase 2. Other than that I looove my Sonterra Home ??

This complex has been so difficult to live in. We have had so many issues. From being forced to move apartments, in less than 5 days, because of severe black mold, due to a leak that we reported every week, for two years, to having to call the police on neighbors, multiple times because the office "only manages the complex, not the people." The exterior of the buildings are in terrible condition. The paint on the stair rails is peeling and flaking so, when you have to hold onto it for assistance navigating the stairs, you gets cuts and paint splinters. The apartments are as far from energy efficient that you can get. We have a small apartment and my electric bill averages $170 in the summer and the heater can't heat the master bedroom in the winter. The mailboxes get broken into on a regular basis, making us have to stop at the office for our mail, only during their office hours and only if someone is in the office to help you. The gates at both entrances are broken more than they work. The parking is incredibly limited, we regularly have to park quite far from our building. It is not a place that I would choose again. If I had known these issues when I was trying to find an apartment, I'd have paid a little more and gone elsewhere.

Since we have moved in, quality has certainly dwindled. For the first full year of our lease, we felt safe, there was excellent customer service, and the front of office team was spot on. Since 2020, the service and quality has taken a sharp dive. The gate for phase 2 on the right side, works maybe 1/3 of the time. The mail boxes were robbed in October and have still not been fixed and there have been crimes committed in between all of these events including my car having been broken into and another tenants car being stollen.

The community and property management was great until changing management companies. The last two years have been nothing but issues. This last year my car has been vandalized 3 times, we've had packages stolen that were not placed in the secure package concierge. We will be looking at moving at once our lease is up.

I really like living at these apartments. It is a bit pricey for the space you get, but the location is good for where I work and the places I like to go. It is quiet most of the time. Office staff isn't always the friendliest though.

My experience here has been full of ups and downs. The overall neighbor community is quite nice, and kind to be around, we all kind of look after one another, for the most part. Although the property management of this property has been lacking since day one. My spart when I moved in was not fully complete, And the vendors they used installed almost everything incorrectly, which has lead to quite a harrowing situation. The property is too large to be run by a single property manager, things get missed And over looked often. Which can make living here quite uncomfortable.

Terrible! Their phone message "touts" it as being a safe "luxury apt. home community"...,in the almost 2 years that I have lived here, the gates have never worked for more than 4 days in a row, the pool plaster is like broken glass, and our mailboxes were vandalized not once, but twice within 3 weeks, 2 weeks before Christmas! Managements solution has been to make us drive 10 miles to the post office to pick up our mail. Now, 1 month later, we don't have to drive to the post office, we have to CALL the office, to arrange to pick up our mail because management can't be bothered, and won't answer the door if you knock on the office door. Mailboxes, still broken! In my opinion, the only "luxury" about this place, Is the HIGH PRICE you pay for rent. Oh, and the part where you pay $35.00 per month for your trash service...

Worst place I've ever lived I understand COVID but we couldn't even see this place before we moved in. Granted we wanted to get out of where we're were but talk about out of the frying pan and into the fire. The roaches are winning and the trash service is a joke. Why can't I take out my own garbage when it needs to go rather than pay for an inconvenient service that only Works when it wants to. I can't wait for me lease to be up and get the ---- outta here

Not too bad as far as Apartment space for the price of rent! But if you decide on leasing at this property please make sure you lease an apartment with a garage or be home by 630pm every day because the parking here is terrible.

No effective solution to receiving regular mail. Problems with some front office reps attitudes when corresponding in person and over the phone (discourteous, outward gesture makes it feel like customers are an aggravation or annoyance) especially in recent / ongoing interactions. Geneva is always a pleasure to speak with.
