So far as I can tell, this is a safe, clean place to live. The apartments are in pretty good shape and look nice inside and out. Pets are permitted. Residents are relatively quiet. Some families have kids, but other than the swimming pools there isn't really anywhere for them to play. It is a "gated community" with video cameras at the gates, automated wireless entry and a way to contact residents to "buzz in." A few people have had bicycles stolen, but it appears they weren't locked and there aren't any bike racks. The pool (in Phase1) has apparently been a challenge to keep clear, but they are trying. Most residents pick up their dog's poop but a few don't, so it is wise to avoid the grassy areas unless you watch where you step. There is a package locker system, and the mailbox areas have been improved to reduce break-ins. The amenities are open with light COVID rules (still have to reserve times, even for the pool). Except for trees falling in storms, maintenance is slow to fix things outside of apartments. An A/C unit was replaced but the carcass of the old unit was just piled against the building. There's a lamp pole that fell down in the pool area and has been there for over a month. If things break inside apartments, there is a logging system to get them fixed and maintenance generally will eventually get it fixed and do a good job of it, but depends on residents to keep mentioning it if it is not complete. There is a slight problem with screws and nails in the parking lots.

People working in the office they act to be nice first problem will face with them then you will see they true faces the manager she is good if the people work in the office give her the right information so she can act, if this is the management/owner please communicate if you are interested to know more about what happen with me when my internet disconnected and how the office staff handle it.

I am not happy right now have called 3 times to renew my lease what is so hard about getting paperwork drawn up so I can log onto my account and renew it. Otherwise besides trash not getting picked up in a timely manner the complex is great and everyone is nice and helpful and wonderful neighbors who are respectful and friendly to each other. I feel safe here and would recommend to anyone

The pool is in a real nice setting. The weight room is real nice when opened: covid is dictating appointments be made before using. I walk at night when it is cool and there are plenty of lights to make my visibility to cars apparent.

Good so far. I like the package concierge and valet trash pickup services. Only issues I've had so far are that sometimes I can't find a parking spot in Phase 2, and I wasn't expecting the additional bills on top of the monthly rent each month.

Very positive The agents are always very polite and eager to help. Maintenance is prompt,effective and clean. However, my car has been broken into twice under my lit carport but nothing taken. Idle kids were the culprits during this pandemic.

Pools are filthy and need repair. The staff injury the pools are safe if the ph is balanced. Ph balance is only relevant to comfort of skin and eyes, it does have anything to do with all the algae growing in the water. It's truly disgusting!

Things have changed over the years- some for the better and some for the worse. The community used to be pretty quiet and clean- increasingly there is a lot of noise, music blasting from units and cars, doors slamming, just overall inconsiderate neighbors. An "courtesy trash pickup" was instituted a few years back, resulting in additional bags of trash sitting outside doors which raccoons get into and make a mess of, and no one cleans up afterwards. Kids used to be able to play in the grass outside, but now there is dog poop all over the shared green spaces. In 2020, water was shut off multiple times to make line repairs, and typically with no notification or timeline. The winter storm in 2021 also resulted in 7 days without water and relatively little done to address the strain that put on residents during that time. All in all, it's probably about the same as any of the other complexes in the area- there's definitely a lot of issues but it can still be pleasant. They have a nice garden.

It has been a good one so far, nice and quiet. Management is very nice and helpful. Haven't had any problems. But I think apartments need a little up dating for the price we pay. @*$*$(=(?(?(?(?*4(=(=[

Hardworking problem solving front office staff. They are friendly, professional and very quick to solve tenants problems. They go above and beyond to render excellent customer service. I am very pleased .

Superb residential service with regard to communication and maintenance requests. Amenities have been upgraded and there is great attention to supporting the community. On the down side, there is not enough parking spaces which is problematic and frustrating.

I would love upgraded systems for being here for any years like a fridge or even Recaulked shower. The staff is great! The neighbors I have a great! The trash pick up is cool but not needed. I would like to see the eatery gate closest more often.

I really love my apartment!! I did the whole thing over the phone with Kenna. She is a God send!! I told her exactly what I wanted n she delivered!! Apartments are modern, grounds are beautiful n pool is always clean n inviting. Staff is super friendly!!! Exercise room is awesome! Love living here!!!

My partner and I have few outside needs, even during pandemic, so we don't call upon Sonterra management. Our problem here is immense noise from the floor above us. A happy little boy jumps, runs, and drops toys all day everyday.

Staff is friendly, helpful and responsive. The grounds are clean and groomed. My 2 maintenance requests were handled promptly. My unit is awesome, lots of storage, white trim and neutral wall paint. I am on 3rd floor with a beautiful view of hills and trees. I recommend Sonterra and give it 5 stars!

Nice older community apartments have large rooms. Convenient location, near shops restaurant and schools, in North Austin. The community has 2 pools and 2 gyms. It is a nicely landscaped well maintained community.

I love this community. Location, layout. I recommend this community for a comfortable life. Large territory, nature. Managers and handymen try to make life comfortable. Externally, it requires minor repairs, but this does not interfere with living comfortably.

I have been a resident since 2018 here at Sonterra Apartment Homes. This staff and management has been absolutely wonderful! The neighbors in the apartment community have been very kind. The overall, reasons why I still live here are because of those important factors. The friendly, safety, and great customer service experience continue to keep me as a happy resident.

I have enjoyed my time here so far. The community is friendly. Love all the trees around. Whenever I needed maintenance help they were quick to do so. I guess my only concern would be cleaning outside buildings. Some hallways seem like full of spiderwebs and not sure if the owner of nearest unit should clean or someone from the office. I mention this regarding people that come to see looking for apartments. That is the first thing you see when checking a building

It's been nice. A friend who used to live here recommended it. It's quiet so far. I live in the back on the corner, only trees behind. I hear the soft chirps of birds in the trees when my patio door is open, and the footsteps of deer in the evenings.

It was great at first, but now it's going downhill. When you walk the grounds, you see dog poop everywhere because people won't clean up after their dogs. There are face masks and other trash laying on the grounds as well. People just don't care.

Office staff was always very helpful. The ground are well maintained. I do get frustrated that I am paying for a gated community, but the gates have only worked about 6 months of the time I have been living here. Most issues, however, are quickly resolved.

Geneva is a c.u.n.t. Toilet valves here snap like twigs. We paid 2x's our rent to get caught up and they still didn't count that ----. The maintenance team really doesn't know what the ---- is going on.

Apartment is just okay. We rented this apartment because is gated and the system is down... apparently somebody runned into the motherboard and they can't fixed it. The lady in the office was very defensive when I asked her about that. I guess she doesn't care about my security? Also the managers of the apartment keep calling me because neighbors are very sensitive to noise, so we feel like we can't live and do our regular stuff. I would understand the calls if we were doing something extraordinary such as having a party with loud music but that's not the case. Bottomline. Another annoying thing is that the smoke alarm is in the kitchen, so everytime I did something in the airfryer the alarm starting beeping....I have no complaints regarding the layout. Apartment is just okay.
