The rent was affordable in 2017 ($790) one bedroom. They charge $1350 OB or more for older layouts, rubbish filled parking lots, furniture dumped in trash areas, green murky pools, and outdated gyms.

The grass is not always greener! I left to relocate to a new city and man do I miss Sonterra! I lived in Phase 2 and never had issues. My view was full of the preserve and so quiet. I miss the gym and the deep old style pools not offered in newer communities. I miss the Zen garden and beautiful clubhouse to work from home. The manager was amazing during the winter storm. You can access any part of Austin, Round Rock, or Cedar Park rather quickly. Everything was efficient for how old the property is.

I like to live there! And I came recommended to a Friends, the only thing for de las few months I sow Cockroaches the big ones, inside my apartment, I never see people to came to fumigate and is disgusting and very dificul to kill them. I would appreciate if they do something about it.

Most things are fixed quick. Some, take for ever. My guests and delivery can't call me from the gate to open the gate since the snow broke the gate the 1st time. They have no interest in helping me. I renewed my contract it stopped the auto pay and I called to ask and they said they would try to help me since the system still showed as auto pay active and they never did. 200 dollars late fee that I will never get back. We had a crazy guy running around naked and 45 min later security had not arrived. Police finally arrived after the guy was shot down with a paintball gun. I been complaining about upstairs neighbors with base shaking walls until 5am almost daily. It stopped when cops had to take the guy away for fights with girl. 2 months warning to leave on a month to month lease is silly in my opinion, I know that part is kind of normal but I still don't agree. I had an OK few mo ths but in the last few it has not been good.

It has been relatively short?my time here. I moved in only a little over a month ago. With that being said, it has been a good time overall. People here have been helpful despite some obstacles with my moving in.

They've been pretty good so far. Definitely not the worst apt complex I've lived in. They are usually pretty fast fixing any issues that arise, and are eager to help when I have a problem. So far so good!

I have lived here for almost a year and the management staff is unprecedented. During the snow storm this past February the communication and help they provided was amazing. They constantly send out emails informing about changes happening in the community or events.

The staff have been amazing since we moved in. Levy from the front office is always very helpful when it comes to any and all problems related to this complex. The area is also really nice and away from the "Austin" traffic.

I have enjoyed my stay at Sonterra. I have always had prompt service. Work has been done satisfactorily. I just wish us longtime residents could get some updates. The gate by my section is the biggest problem since it seldom works. Thank you.

I live here a long time . It is going down hill. My apartment is very old but rent goes up. Shameful. My neighbors pay around the same and have new upgraded apartments . Holes in breezeway staircase, and trashy. A lot trash since your expensive imposing on our wallet valet pick up. I have to pick up a lot more trash and help keeping it a bit more presentable. Tired of calling in. . Breezeways are sticky and dirty, I don't want to invite visitors. Zen garden /landscaping is not professionally done. Trees planted under trees and struggling .

Amazing place! Awesome location near by all main roads. Plenty of food around and amazing views. Grounds are clean and any concerns or maintenance issues are handled in a quick matter. All staff is always helpful and kind. I love it here!

Ever since we moved in too sonterra apartments we have always been running into issues. Maintenance has not been very helpful, it takes at least a week to fill a service request. This is if they even answer your request. I currently have a raccoon terrorizing my apartment, scratching the walls, kicking out lights, crawling through the vents, and peeing in our pantry. They have been aware of the situation for a while now, and still have not sent pest control to resolve the issue.

Had its ups and downs. Staff is now very friendly and communication is great. They did a phenomenal job keeping all residents informed repairs and issues during the freak winter storm earlier this year. Improvements to the community is ongoing. To that effect however, The gates are almost always out of order or broken. I'm actually more surprised whenever they are actually in proper working order than I am when they are broken. And usually once they are fixed they are only functional for about a week before something happens and it's broken again for months. Due to the rain storms there are apartments flooded not enough lighting throughout the walkways or enough parking spaces for residents. They have also priced quite a few residents out of this community while somehow letting in trouble residents. In the time I've been here there are quite a lot more calls for police presence in the past year than ever before.

The personnel is friendly and efficient with the maintenance of the buildings and apartments. Keeping the compound quiet and very well maintained, including the Zen garden, is very appreciated. Thank you all for the good work!

I'm comfortable here. The parking is reasonable, the staff is friendly, maintenance is usually prompt and there are plenty of them. Theres a lovely garden with herbs and fruit trees. We're right up against a nature preserve so there's regular wildlife sightings. Many of my neighbors have been here longterm which indicates that our expectations are being met.

Allright. Thanks. We are absolutely satisfied. Good place and good environmental. Anytimes didn't worked package concierge, but it is not very big problems for us. We have only one a petition. Please take out the trash more often.

Overall it's a good community. I think during the summer pool should shocked after closing or 1st thing in the morning. Landscape can be improved. Gates should be working more regularly. Hallways should be pressure wash twice a year to keep environment clean.

The property is nice and feels somewhat remote. The interior is pretty nice and parts are being renovated. The clubhouse is very nice but closes too early at 8pm. I'm very disappointed by the pools and hot tubs though. They have not been well taken care of since I moved in over 2 months ago. The pools are always cloudy or almost green. The hot tubs are stained yollow/green and still have live algae in them. I tried to see if I could help with the pool, but the general manager (Geneva) said that it "wasn't in the budget" but then sent everyone an email saying they were looking for another person to add to the ONE PERSON that is expected to tend to both pools, both hot tubs, and the entire grounds outside. Apparently this is common for appartment complexes. We tenats must make demands and threaten lawsuits or leaving or this will always be the case everywhere. Also, half the light switches in my apartment don't work and the other half do two things...and my garbage disposal died on me the first day.

I have had great experiences with this community and all the staff that work there. They have always been responsive to all my calls and requests when I have had any issues. They have always promptly addressed any of these issues and I'm happy to have been living here as long as I have.

No longer is this luxury, it's average. Understaffed. Community thngs not working often or closed or locked. Staff look nice but say inappropriate things or leave you hanging when they know the answer. Apartment haphazardly maintained. Lots of similar complaints shared by other tenants.

So far I have found the community to be a very chill place to live. Lots of living occurs and things often go wrong (gates being broken, animals getting into trash, and whatnot) but everyone works very hard to rectify the situation. Upon first moving in during COVID, there was a lot looked over in my apartment due to limited staff and what work people called essential, it took awhile, but now I love my space.

Not what was expected. The amenities are still not available to residents and the procedures to make them available are difficult. There should be more flexibility for the residents to be able to use the swimming pools or gyms for example.
