Very quiet and safe. A place to raise your children and meet beautiful neighbors. Surrounded by great school and shopping center. Each time I have a problem it is resolve within hours. Beautiful landscaping and friendly neighbors. Easy access to Texas 6 and Texas A $ M University. Near to Blinn Community College and easy access to public transportation.

Over all I like the community. The office staff and maintenance are friendly and helpful. People that live in Riverstone are very friendly. The only thing that I would change is that they need to put up a large fence between The Grove and Riverstone so that people that live in The Grove don't let their dogs run loose and they won't be able to sit in the wooded area drinking at night.

Apartments are fine for price. No real issues and we have lived here a year. Brittany in the office has been our saving grace. We love her!

We have lived at Riverstone Apartments for almost a year now and have never been disappointed! Free Internet, Cable, and gym membership are just a few of the amenities as well as 2 pools that are always kept very clean! Being right down the street from Blinn makes a great place for college students, but the complex is very quiet and is quite suitable for families as well! The maintenance is always very quick to help and the ladies in the office are very understanding and nice as well! Absolutely the best apartment complex we have ever lived at!

I just moved into Riverstone with my daughter and we LOVE it. The maintenance is very quick and friendly as well as the girls in the office. We moved from California and it has been quite a transition, but we are finally feeling at home. This is a great location as well... so close to everything! I will definitely recommend Riverstone to my co-workers at St. Joe's Hospital.

I very much enjoy living at Riverstone. I have lived here since 2002. I have seen several managers come and go, but there is a very nice lady working in the office that has been with us for quite some time. I I have had my share of apartment issues along the years but the current staff does a great job to make sure all of my needs are met. I am an elderly woman and I feel very safe living here at Riverstone. My son also lives on property. I work just down the street at Walgreens and I love being so close to my job. Thanks to Riverstone for making my life a little easier.

I have lived here with my family almost 3 years. I have had great experiences with the office as well as maintenance. I love the location of my apartment and especially my neighbors. The property was just painted last month, so it is looking really nice! I did have a problem with my a/c this week, and maintenance was out within the hour. I will continue to renew my lease with Riverstone. It's a great place to live.

It is a great place to live. The maintence is awesome, they fix it fast after you called the office to request them. The people in the office are very helpful and friendly. At first when I moved in at June of 2011, the AC broke each month. After making a complain, they buy a new AC for my apartment. It is close to the blinn college and have a bus stop for transportation to Texas A&M. It is a quiet community, not much noise except a new neighbor's dog keep barking when they let the dog outside to spend the night.

I really enjoyed living at Riverstone. The rent is less than that for places closer to the A&M campus but you still get a nice place. I would live here again. Pros: Staff is friendly and helpful; office is open on weekends. Maintenance fixed issues rapidly. The office always called to follow up on all maintenance requests. The apartment was cleaned and re-painted before we moved in. The construction quality is great. The kitchen sink is stainless steel. Cabinets, hardware, doors, and light fixtures were all decent. The bedrooms had Hunter fans (huge plus!!!) that were quiet. It's on bus route 12. The grounds are attractive and wooded. The mail room is air conditioned! You can pay rent automatically online. I never felt unsafe, even at night. I could always find a parking space. W/D connections in the unit, but the facility has a laundry room too. You have to get a pre-paid card from the office first; this is so random people off the street can't just walk in and use it. The downstairs living room and kitchen have faux wood laminate floors. They look nice and are so much easier to clean than carpet! Neutral = Nearest grocery stores are Village foods on 29th and Briarcrest, HEB on Villa Maria, and WalMart on Briarcrest and 6. A little bit further is the excellent Farm Patch (farmer's market). = My neighbor liked playing bongo drums. Obviously you can hear that through the walls. = Appliances were on par with other apartment complexes - not the newest, but functional. Cons: - The 2/2 did not have a proper pantry. I had to get some shelves to put in the kitchen to store food on. - The area is a bit boring. It's mostly residential. Mostly fast food restaurants populate the area, nothing within walking distance. There are no coffee shops or entertainment nearby - you have to go to downtown Bryan or closer to A&M for that.

Locked out, but not stressed out
I recently moved into Riverstone. When I came to move in, I only moved in a few things but had to return home for a few days. When I got back, I realized that I forgot my keys. I called the answering service and the manager quickly responded. Because I had just paid lots of move in costs, my money was low, not only did she (Erica) come out at midnight, but she didnt charge me a fee and greated me like it was 10am in the morning.

Love Riverstone
I moved into Riverstone in March of 2011. When I moved in, I had high expectations which the management fulfilled. I came from a nice complex where I used to live, but the management was terrible and my stuff always got stolen. Erica and Amber have been more than willing to accomodate anything that I ask of them within reason. When I moved in, I got new floors, appliances and countertops. The kitchen countertops were painted and the painter didnt quite get it right so they made her come back out and fix her screw up. Never once have I had them tell me no or they couldn't help me. I absolutely love living here and recommend this complex to anyone that I know that needs a home to live in.

Plan on breaking my lease!!
This place is a joke!! No one takes their job seriously in the office...maintenance is average but whoever is the maintenance supervisor and gives the work load for the day hasn't a clue what they are doing. Nothing is ever done right the first time though. Our apartment was not ready AT ALL when we moved in!! I reserved it back in APRIL...the curly haired girl promised us new appliances AND everything to be completely remodeled and nothing was new!! When I asked her about it she denied everything and was completely rude and blamed it on someone who isn't even there anymore and she is supposedly a manager?? The other manager Erika(?) was perfectly nice and tried to get everything done...even though she is a little disorganized and more worried about talking about her man problems. The little dark haired girl that works there hasn't a clue what is going on. My ac doesn't work at all and I keep calling it in but they just tell me its too hot outside for it to work properly! DO NOT LIVE HERE!! Its over priced and the staff is so unprofessional!!

Above & Beyond
Our family moved to Riverstone (formerly WilloWind) in November of 2010. The staff - including office personnel, grounds keepers, maintenance, customer service associate, and any others I may have forgotten to mention are ALL GREAT! The staff are very attentive - the grounds are well kept - maintenance works hard, even after hours and weekends - the make-ready's of the apartments are ready to be moved into quickly & professionally. Have to say - WE LOVE RIVERSTONE APARTMENTS!

Love this place!
Amazing place to live and even MORE amazing staff! Never a time that I have not been greeted with a smiling face and positive attitude. Maintenance calls answered timely and effectively. Quiet and comfortable surroundings. Pool always kept up. Trash always picked up.

Horrible
The day we came to move into riverstone, they were not even ready for us even though we had told them months in advance what date we were going to move in. The apartment was falling apart. we had been told everything was going to be redone in the apartment before we moved in and nothing was. When things would break it would take days for them to come fix it. The AC had a freon leak the enitre year we lived there and they never fixed it. Our floor shook when we walked. When we did move out they charged us for tons of cleaning even though they had told us we had to move out becuase they had to completly redo the floor. Now 3 months after we moved out a collection agency contacts us saying we owe them 180 dollars. We call the apartment company and they cant find any reason we owe them... What apain!! Also, Erika is rude and lies about everything.

great location, great price, great people
My wife and I live at Riverstone with our son. We have lived here for almost 3 years and we are so pleased with our current living situation. We just signed a renewal and were so happy to see that our rent did not go up! The managers in the past haven't always been so great, but we love Amber and Erica! They really go out of their way to help us. We used to wait a few days for a work order to be completed, but now we get things repaired the same day, if not within a couple of hours!! We always refer our co-workers and friends to Riverstone, because we know they will be happy. Thank you to the best management and maintenance team at Riverstone Apartments for making our lives easier; we will definitely be here for a while.

Happy to call this place home....
My husband and I moved into Riverstone about a month ago and we are really enjoying this community. We love our neighbors; they are very friendly and willing to get to know you. Assigned parking is great, so we never have to worry about our spots being taken. The girls in the office are so nice. They were great from the moment we toured the property. Unfortunately, our heater went out last night and it was after hours. We called the emergency maintenance number, and they had someone out within the hour! I felt like I had to give them a great review for this great service, especially in this freezing weather. Thanks Riverstone!!

A Nice Place To Live
My family and I rent one of the Kent Street Condos at Willowind. We have lived here for going on 10 years. I have seen many owners and managers since we've been here.. but things are not as bad as these reviews i'm reading. I had to do something about this reputation that Willowind has. I feel very welcome each and every time I stop by or call the office. The ladies are very nice and helpful. My work orders are taken care of in a timely manner and there is almost no noise from other condos around me. There is finally consistency with the office staff and maintenance men. I live 2 doors down from the on-site Security Officer. He patrols with his dog every evening and he is so friendly. My wife works for a management company herself and says she is very pleased with the changes being made here at Willowind. This month the office is judging a Halloween Door Decorating contest which is great because it's a great way to involve the community. Please check the place out for yourself before you read the old reviews.

Betrayal of Trust! Don't trust the management.
This was a very nice place for a year. The management was always very nice. But then a change occured and the new management is very untrustworthy. I rented a washer and dryer from Appliance Warehouse and called for removal more than a week before I was leaving. They told me they could not come until two days after I was leaving. I told them that was no good but they said it was ok, they do it all the time, and that they had an arrangement with WilloWind. I went to the office and talked to the man who is normally there and he said it was no problem and assured me it was ok. Three weeks after I left, Appliance Warehouse called to say that when the went to get the appliances, they were told by that man who is normally there that there was no washer and dryer in there!!! I tried to talk to the manager, who I could not reach and who did not return my call. They not only don't care about what happened, but they must be aware, or even more!!!!! Betrayal of trust! You should be able to trust the management company when they tell you something you're arranging it ok. Don't trust them but get everything in writing.

Equal Housing
I was told for over a week that they take HUD by two of the reps in office. Even shown and apartment and turned in all they money and gave notice at my old apartment. Got a call from Manager she told us that they don't take HUD anymore. I know people that have HUD and they live in the apartments. They don't treat people nice and then they get really nasty on the phone...
