Lately, horrible and negligent. I wish they were more keen on resident's needs instead of just calling it a day. Pretty unprofessional when I get told "there's not a problem" when I deal with my AC issue every single day multiple times a day...

After reading some of the best and worst reviews on the apartment complex, I was worried about theft, roaches, and having my car towed. I read those review after I signed for the lease, which left me concerned and worried about my experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the clean apartment that was free of roaches, the fact that the robberies that did take place was a one time incident according to police reports and has not reoccurred, and that parking isn't as terrible as some of the reviews hinted towards. I genuinely like the loft apartment I have and love the gym membership at aerofit that accompanies the lease. I'm cheap and would not pay for a gym membership on my own. There is a chihuahua next door to me that loves to park around 8-9 AM every morning and does not stop, so that is the reason I rated the noise segment at a 3. The only thing I can complain about, and not in a serious way, is that the cable service provided by the apartment does not include a cable box. I like to order UFC/payperview fights and record shows, so I just pay an extra 7$ a month at suddenlink and I am content with the services I have now.

It was ruff at the beginning, but after we got everything fixed all has been well. When I call I always get an answer and they are always nice and eager to help. Even at the tough times of this move they were very helpful in getting everything right for me.

I've lived here for about 5 years and have never had any issues or problems. Maintenance always responds quickly. It's a very quiet neighborhood. The office staff is also very friendly and helpful. I have absolutely nothing negative to say.

Good location away from CS/TAMU campus. Friendly front desk staff. There was a vandalization of a tenants vehicle and the police have been better about patrolling the area. The A/C system seems to be an issue with this complex -as I have found that my apt is not the only one that has had multiple issues during the summer months. The insufficiency could be attributed to the loft style apt set up.

I don't advise anyone to move to Riverstone apartments. This is the worst apartment ever. To start I was shown a nice apartment but was given an old out dated unit the stove doesn't work properly, dish washer constantly breaks because the are so old. They lie about having assigned parking, Parking is a nightmare they gave us parking stickers and still can't find parking by my apartment. A month after moving in one of my family members cars was broken into while visiting me. Everything keeps breaking and maintenance can't fix anything The A/C was broken most of the summer which made my utility bills over $300 ever month last summer, I've had a water leaking for the last two years now the hot water isn't working again and even after being notified the maintenance still hasn't fixed it. The management aren't doing their job and could care less. I've had to rent a hotel room just so my 2yr old daughter and I can take a hot shower while paying $750 rent. So if your thinking about moving here DON'T! I'm counting down the months till we move in May.

I've lived at Riverstone Apartments for two years now, and am only moving out because of a job relocation. I have had only positive experiences living here. Sure, the cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom are a bit outdated, but for the price you pay and the amount of space you get, it is definitely worth it. I have never seen a cockroaches inside my apartment and not had any problems with ants or other bugs. The free internet is fast and reliable. I did have to call maintenance a few times to refill the freon in the A/C, but they were prompt and responded within the next day each time. My rent did go up $20.00 the second year, but I didn't mind. The a/c bills are not outrageous like other posters claim. If you set your a/c too low during the summer months, it won't ever turn off and yes, you will end up with a large bill. However, I kept mine of 75, used the ceiling fans, and an occasional swivel fan. In the winter, I used a $20 small heater that easily heated up whatever room I was in. The heating/cooling units are old, so they are not very energy efficient. My utilities bills were around $140 during the summer/winter and around $90 otherwise. That is cheap if you consider the fact that I stayed in a 2/1.5 1130 sq.ft apartment. My neighbors are mostly college students, young professionals, or small business owners. They do not provide HUD housing, and residents are screened during the application process. Noise is rarely an issue. I don't ever hear my neighbors next door, but sometimes I hear cars early in the morning warming their engines or the occasional d**che-bag playing their car bass way too loud. I was given two numbered parking spaces, which are both located directly under a security/street light. I have only seen the police here once during my stay, and an ambulance three times. I feel safe here most days. Part of the reason is because some of the residents are actually police officers and their patrol vehicles are often parked in the lot at night. I don't care much for the carpeted stairs. I have fallen more than once going down them, but the hand rail saved me each time. I have a decent sized back patio which is enclosed by a a tall wooden fence and gate. Deliveries are dropped off at my back door on this patio if I order something online. Nothing has ever been stolen. About the rent, add $40 to the rent they say. You are responsible for paying water/sewage which will always be around $40.00 a month, give or take a dollar, and it will be added to your rent. I pay the rent online each month, and have never been charged any additional fees. Management is professional and courteous. I've spoken with Brittany and Rachel many times, and they were always helpful and prompt when responding to my request or questions. Oh, and I have never ran out of hot water! It does take a few minutes to get hot though. I live on the kent street side in the k units.

Been here now since the fall, and it has been a great experience. Easy to study with little noise around me. It isn't as updated as some apartments but it isn't necessary! Price is great, especially with the amenities it offers (free membership to aerofit, free cable and internet). Staff is very friendly and quick to answer questions or maintenance requests.

I like my apartment set up but things like the cabinets being warped and things like that could really make things better, i won't be continuing my lease because of the quality and due to cockroaches and ants but staff is very helpful and kind.

Facility is old and NOT THE LEAST BIT energy efficient. Summertime utility bills are in excess of 350.00 at times. In addition, the rent increases by a good amount each year. A few years ago I was told that the rent would not increase, only to be informed that we are now responsible for water and sewage. So, rent didn't increase but we still have to pay an additional 40.00 a month for water and sewage that is prorated because the facility does not have individual meters. Old school math tells me that rent actually DID increase about 40.00 a month. Additionally, this little gem of information was not disclosed until I went in to sign a new lease, leaving me no response time to make other arrangements. Parking is a nightmare and the grounds and parking lots are not well lit at all. Lack of light is just exactly what criminals look for. Cars have been broken into and things have been stolen off porches and patios.

Riverstone went under new management more recently and I have been extremely happy with my lease here. Upon move-in they are very quick to answer any questions or emails that you send, as well as any maintenance requests! For the price includes quite a bit with the free Internet, basic cable and a membership to Aerofit! The location, and for the amenities, best price in town.

It is pleasant so far, there is more noise than I would like from the apartment that is below. The staff is very nice, and prompt on making sure you are happy, and taken care of. I am very pleased with their hard work on staying abreast on everything.

I have been happy so far this year with my rental property, They seem to address major maintenance issues rather quickly. They could definitely do something more about the parking lot situation, There are entirely too many cars parked in the spots on any given day

I can honestly say these apartments are gorgeous on the inside and out. I stopped by because I'm moving to the area and the tour I took was great. The assistant manager Jessica was pretty new but she did an amazing job. The price was a little more than I had budgeted so I'm still looking.

All of the ladies in the office were extremely nice and very helpful no matter how many times I called or showed up with questions. The only time I've needed maintenance was to hook up my washer and dryers. The job was done quickly, no mess was made and my washer and dryers are working great. I would definitely recommend Riveredtone to anybody who is looking for a great place to stay.

Staff is really nice and answers all questions. The lease process and getting keys was quick and we loved the amenities. Maintenance is quick. Unfortunately, we needed repairs 3 times in our first week. Only suggestion is to check all plumbing, appliances and electrical prior to tenant move-in.

I have loved living in this community. The staff is excellent! I am an older person and the staff is always willing to help me with any situation. This has always been a older community of people on my side of the complex and I have enjoyed the laid back feeling.

I love the area and the staff and the layout of my apartment but I just don't like my apartment. Everytime it rains there I have to clean up the flood in my dining room. I have never been comfortable in my apartment since i moved in. Its not as clean as I would like. There is crud and black yuck in all the corners and crevisis of the walls and baseboards

With the exception of a new car being towed b/c I did not get a new tag, my experiences have ALL been positive. Manager deducted price of towing from the next month rent. Staff goes above and beyond to accomadate me. Neighbors are quiet and polite

I am so sorry I renewed my lease. The two on-site managers are very friendly and compassionate, but do not have the power to fix the many problems I have reported. I am spending over $250 a month for electricity because my AC is broken. Even though I have the AC set to 70, and use multiple fans, the temperature reaches 91 degrees in my living room every afternoon. The outside lights burn out every other week, and many of the light bulbs in my apartment burn out after a week or two. I have reported this as a bigger problem than just "bad bulbs", but nothing is done. The toilet, garbage disposal, oven, and dishwasher are all old and have been troubleshooted, but never replaced, as they are from the 1970's. And, If you want to hear really loud rap music at 3 and 4 am, this is the place for you.
