I HAVE BEEN AT STONERIDGE FOR ALMOST 3 YEARS AND WHAT I WILL SAY IS THAT ITS A QUIET COMMUNITY. THE STAFF IS LIKE FAMILY AND WHEN I HAVE A MAINTENANCE REQUEST ITS HANDLED PROMPTLY. IF I HAD TO SAY SOMETHING SOMEWHAT NEGATIVE IS THE PARKING BUT THEY ARE NOW UNDER CONSTRUCTION TO IMPROVE THE SPACES. I HAVE RECOMMENDED STONERIDGE OF NORTH DALLAS TO FRIENDS AS WELL.

Just moved in to Stone Ridge apartments overall my experience moving in have been great. I had a couple minor issues in my apartment but it was taken care of the next day by the maintenance staff, very professional and very friendly. My only negative experience is finding parking with all the construction going on with the car ports. But I do recommend living here.

The new management at Stone Ridge has done fantastic job over the last year. I'm a current resident and I'm very happy. I have zero negative feedback for Stone Ridge. It's been very good living at Stone Ridge.

I am going to be as honest as they come!!! Although, they (Stone Ridge Management) have tried to fix the parking problem it is yet an issue. I suggest if you can afford the extra cost for a covered parking spot or a garage get one. The finishes such as the counter tops, cabinets and bathroom fixtures are cheap and not well put together. I have lived here for 2 years, on my 3rd lease and majority of my repair issues are the fixtures coming off the wall or coming apart. Besides that I really do love my apartment. Recently noise has become a very small issue because of children playing but that has just started to happen. It used to be a very quit complex. Very pet friendly. Clean grounds and respectful tenants. We don't talk to each other we tend to stay to ourselves. For a one bedroom I pay $766 per month including water and trash removal. I don't have a garage or a cover parking spot. I would resign my lease again if they put an effort towards parking spaces or lower the cost for cover spots and garages. Also not go up on rent again. The level of quality compared to the price is okay and office employees are nice. Now this is not a second chance complex they not going to help like that but they are nice when telling you that you are late on rent (a big smile).

H E L L no, the management before the "new management" were very understanding but ever sincce new management came into play all i have been recieving were letters at my door saying i owe electricity fees & let me remind you, my electricity is NOT through the apartments & i get electricity bills monthly from direct energy & i took it up to the office and they still wanted me to pay $400 of electricty through them that i have not used. I DO NOT RECOMMEND these apartments. theres more decent apartments in the area.

This is my first experience living in an apartment complex, and let me tell you, it was not good at all. If this is what's considered a great place to live, then I might as well go back home and live in my parents' basement. Let's start with the construction. I understand that they were trying to "beautify" the property under the new management, but loud banging at 7 am is not going to make your current residents like you. All the management is concerned with is GETTING residents, not KEEPING the ones they already have. I personally can't wait for my lease to be up so I can get out of this place. And how about the mail service? At first it was a good system. They have boxes outside for packages, but if your package is too large, it goes in the front office and you have to sign for it. You get a notice in your mailbox the day it's delivered and you go pick it up. Lately, I've had at least 3 packages delivered that I had no idea about because they gave me no notice. One package sat in their office for 2 weeks because they didn't think it was important to let me know. And last night a tracking number said something was delivered and signed by one of the front office management but there was no notice when I checked my mailbox. When I moved in, I thought this was a little gem in a not so perfect area, and now I've realized it's just the same as the surrounding area. There are bent bars in the gates allowing miscreants from the alley to enter the complex without needing to have a gate key. There are tenants who think blasting their music from 8 pm to 3 am on week days is completely okay. We've complained to management and nothing is done about these issues. I envy those who have had good experiences with this complex, but we have not.

Moving in Stone Ridge Apartments is one of the best choices one s can make. First of all, the overlook of the whole complex is just beautiful; from the all-new greenish frontage to the beautiful green spaces. Then, the maintenance staff is very competent. They always do their best to fix anything that need to be fixed; especially Mr. Angel who s such a kind & helpful man. Last but not the least, the three wonderful women who work in the office and who are such a blessing for our community. They re ALWAYS friendly, jovial, kind, and attentive to every single resident s well-being; regardless of how busy they are. They also look as gorgeous as qualified in their new uniforms. Ms. Edith & Ms. Monica, particularly, always find time in their active schedules to have a little chat with residents whether said residents are 17 or 50 years old. In addition, they organize special events each month, such as the Halloween party & the pumpkin contest from the past month. Nevertheless to say these events are very entertaining, and they re a great way to meet our neighbors too. Conclusion is I've been living here for almost 2 years now, and I couldn't recommend a better complex to move in than Stone Ridge Apartments.

I am currently looking for a new place to live. This was actually the last place I went to and I guess the saying you save the best for last was true in this case. I loved everything about these apartments and the leasing agents made me feel so welcome. I am ready to be a future resident.

I love living here. The staff is ALWAYS friendly. Repairs are done very quickly.the location is GREAT. I would recommend this location to everyone. It is a small community so parking can be an issue but pay for a reserved spot and three are no issues. Yes, they are renovating but it is for the best and everyone should be patient. Bcuz it is a poor process.

Noise. Construction. Rude. Intrusive. The four words I would use to describe this complex. For every single day I have lived in this complex I have regretted the decision while being forced to listen to slamming hammers, drills, and banging tools. The complex is never complete and after being apologized to for the contractors they hired doing the job they asked differently than they had planned; which is supposedly the cause of why the construction went on so long, the SAME contractor returned to continue slamming and banging from 7am until dark every single day. Once a week, my balcony was constantly filled with random construction workers and dust from the construction. There was no grace given to residents who have had to put up with this constant intrusion whatsoever. At one point I was even blocked for 10 minutes into my RESERVED parking space, because the workers had set up their entire wood cutting operation behind my vehicle. From day one, I was lied to by the managers who had promised a pet policy that immediately became a sham with an overwhelmingly high deposit AND pet rent for animals that wouldn't do the damage of pet rock. The gates CONSTANTLY stayed open letting in ALL manner of loud and obnoxious people who I wouldn't trust with making a burger and I repeatedly saw people CLIMBING IN through bends in the surrounding gate who clearly didn't need to be in the complex. Never ever would I recommend this place or stay a day past necessary.

I have been at Stone Ridge for almost a year and I have enjoyed it, it was a few improvements that could have been made but since it is under new management there have been many great improvements new pool furniture, a new paint job, new and improved fitness center and they are even getting a new dog park. I am very excited about all the changes being made at the property and look forward to renewing my lease when it is up. The office staff is very friendly and there is now consistancy in the office which makes a world of different. I would definitely recommend this property with the changes that have been made.

DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!!! came home from work a couple days ago, there was a note shoved through my door saying that they had seen an unauthorized cat in my place and that they had charged me $400 and would be charging me $10 a day until i paid for the pet deposit. I went down to the office to ask them to look at my lease and see that not only had i paid the $350 pet deposit when i moved in, but had been paying a monthly pet rent of $15, the temp who was working that day opening my lease and on the first page was a photocopy of my pet deposit. THEY ARE SO LAZY, they would rather charge you than double check their papers!! Not only did i not get an apology from the staff, they started to act rude and spiteful to me after the incident. CAN NOT wait to move out and hope that I can save a couple of you from this terrible terrible apartment building

PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE MOVING IN THIS PLACE.. I MOVED OUT AND THEY FOUND A WAY TO KEEP MY ENTIRE DEPOSIT. FEES CHARGED WERE OUTRAGEOUS AND THE MANAGEMENT WAS NOT WILLING TO WORK WITH TENANTS. I MADE SURE THAT THE APARTMENT WAS CLEAN AND IT DIDN'T APPEAR TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. THEY TOOK MY DEPOSIIT AND STATED I HAD A BALANCE OWED OF $9. THE TEMP AGENT IS RUDE AND NOT A PEOPLE PERSON. SHE IS IN THE WRONG LINE IF WORK AND SOMEBODY NEEDS TO TELL HER THAT. PARKING IS HORRIBLE AND THE GYM IS A JOKE. THIS PLACE SUCKS!!! IT MAY LOOK OKAY ON THE OUTSIDE BUT PROSPECTIVE TENANTS BEWARE. SPEND A LITTLE EXTRA FOR PIECE OF MIND AND GREAT MANAGEMENT ELSEWHERE!!!!!

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE!!!!! I paid my deposit, application fee, admin fee, and found out later even though I live far away I would have to take off during the week so the assistant manager can process my forms. She suggested I rearrange my movers so I can get up there when I live far awayThey would not email or scan, fed ex, esignature, or fax me my leasing agreement. The Assistant Mangager said some of the papers might not be returned to them. I thought well don't give me the apartment then. They have a temp working on weekends and at their headquarters so you can't get any answers. DO NOT EVEN LOOK AT THE APARTMENT COMPLEX you are waisting your time.

The cheap rent reflects the demographics of this complex, so peace of mind is compromised as soon as you enter past the gates. I regrettably lived at the complex due to proximity to work. Disrespectful residents blast music at the pool past 10 PM and leave thrash outside their doors as they pleased. The walls are paper thin to the point where you can hear a baby crying at night. The frugal residents aren't willing to pay for covered parking, so good luck finding general parking at night if your significant other comes to visit at night. If you don't put down a deposit, be prepared to deal with a debt collector after you move out. You'll be charged for cleaning, waste pickup, and water bills without a single notice, even though a forwarding address is provided. Do yourself a huge favor, shell out more money for Grammercy (which is right up the street) or Austin Ranch. It'll be well worth the price while sacrificing more of a commute to work. Your friends AND significant other will be more than willing to visit you frequently. The ONLY positive about this complex is the fact that maintenance will fix your problem in a very timely manner.

I just moved onto this property and I was taken aback by how much the office staff worked hard to accommodate me quickly and respectfully. I used to live on this property before and I came back because it is an amazing location.

Love it here - But the Property Manager SUCKS!
Unlike the previous post, I actually have a good relationship with ONE of the girls in the office. She works very hard and is always trying to multi-task and help everyone(which explains why its so hard to get someone on the phone.) Now the property manager on the other hand, she doesn't do ANYTHING! She is always closed up in her office with the blinds closed, normally on her cell phone laughing about something (im sure it is not work related), and when the assistant manager is not in the office, dont expect the office to even be open, because the property manager keeps all the doors locked. The property manager is very rude, even when just asking to pick up a package, she acts like you are inconveniencing her. I do understand that it is difficult to run a property with only 2 people but if the property manager ever did her job this complex would be great. Karen, the previous manager was amazing, but I have been told she was promoted. The maintenance staff and assistant manager are great but Harbor Group needs to take notice and get a new property manager.

Nice floorplan and layout
Looking for an apartment is hard work and I was impressed with Stone Ridge. The manager showed me several apartments, was professional and very helpful. I loved all of them though a bit pricey but well worth the money. The grounds were clean and well kept, the gates worked, the pool area was beautiful. I consider this a "luxury" apartment complex not like the others that attach the word luxury to them and are just run of the mill apartments.

Management sucks
The management when i moved in was good. The two ladies in the office do not..and i mean do not answer the phone ever. I understand they can not answer at all times but at this time it doesn't matter what time you call they will not answer. When you leave a message they dont get back to you. You have to make time to go in to resolve issues that can be resolved with a two minute conversation on the phone. I hope habour group is paying attention to what we are saying. It has been done before so they just choose to not be bothered.

I love it here!
I just have to say, the area is not the best, but overall, I love living here. I moved in March of this year. The management is new but overall pretty good. Sometimes they don't answer the phone, that would probably be my only complaint and that they don't have as many resident functions as most properties. But for the most part, it is a great place to live. The ladies in the office are always happy and helpful when you go in and the maintenance is great! I have never waited more than 24hrs for something to be repaired. The community is small and quiet. Parking can be a bit of an issue at times, mostly on the weekends. The area around the complex isnt the best, but for the price and the interior in the apartment home, I think I made a good choice.

I would NEVER live here!!!!
Well there's two ladies working in the office. One young and one older (can't remember names). The first time I went to look at these apts, the older lady showed me around and it was lovely and I was stoked!! Came back the next day with a family member because I thought this may be my new home. When we walked in I asked if we could view the model and (the younger heavy set red headed chick) says "Uh do you want me to show you or just give you the keys?". Me being a pretty laid back person opted for the keys..she says "it's ####" we truck over there in the blistering heat and the key won't turn...we go back and ask if she was sure that was right key and her response "Uhhh yeah unless I'm -------- or something" and she said "oops it's apt ####" so we truck back over there and the key won't turn in that door which I'm guessing was someones home! On returning back to the office we explained that the keys weren't turning... She got Very defensive and said " um these keys work!! I use them everyday!" and I said today they aren't working. Instead of her getting off of her lazy @$$ to show us she was like "here is your ID," and I was completely shocked at how rude she was!! There's no way in hell I would trust someone like that with my money every month. So maybe if they had better management in the office I would have been interested but I leased elsewhere! Not to mention the second day people had their dogs on the balcony barking up a storm and some people sitting on their balcony let their dog out and it took a crap and they didn't think to pick it up! No way!!!
