the stone ridge apartment complex is just fine. the landscaping (mud slops to grass ratio) needs some work and the multitude of hours long water shut offs, along with maintenance response time/follow up makes residing here quite frustrating at times but nonetheless, the biggest issue is having a unit face the main road (haverwood). the apartment complex across the street is retched and really deteriorates a quality of residency at stone ridge. gunshots quite frequently, some being too close for comfort. if youre a young adult looking for a place to live for a (slightly) afforable price, this could be an option but i wouldnt recommend a family here or anything alike here. theres so many apartments in the far north dallas area that will give you more bang for your buck.

Before I moved in I always liked the look and feel of the place. Since I moved in, I've had plumbing issues, including a toilet water line break. Although the team did respond quickly to remove things off of the floor and put fans and a humidifier in to dry the floors (especially since I wasn't here--my neighbor reported the issue due to water leaking in his unit), the problem should been inspected and fixed before I moved in. I had reported toilet problems before the incident. I'm also still waiting on a new toilet over a month later. Also, the shower neck has thread tape, which means the thread is old and worn. Water pressure causes the shower head to slowly but surely push forward to where water comes out of the back of the shower head. I'm afraid it's going to pop off and fly like a bullet into me one day. The neck had more thread tape put on when I reported it. The neck needs to be replaced. I pay market rate to stay in a sub par unit. I like things to work as it should. Cosmetically the unit is nice as the floors were new, until the water line break.

So far the apartment has been nice. I do have AC problems that they keep putting a bandaid over instead of fixing. There is also a lady with black hair in the office that is extremely patronizing. I believe she might be the office manager, but I'm unsure. The other two ladies are super nice and helpful.

I moved in Dec 2021 and have been pleased with my experience in the Far North Dallas Area. I like being near the W Plano shopping area and bars. The rates are decent. Maintenance, Tasha and team are great! Keep up the good work!

My experience has been great. The management staff is amazing. They are very professional and helpful. The Maintenance staff is prompt and very knowledgeable to your situation very prompt at fixing things as well. I also like the way that the management team keeps you aware. Of what's going on in our community? I think that's great.. Also I believe the location of the community is great. Everything is close grocery stores malls restaurants etc.

When I arrived to tour the property I was very impressed on how the property looked and how all the staff treated me. Most apartments never answer and some have major attitudes. Not at Stone Ridge. The leasing agents actually care and do their job efficiently.

New resident and loving it

My wife and I have only lived here for 2 weeks but it’s been great so far. The apartments are clean inside AND out and the security measures are just awesome. All of the girls were, and have been, incredibly kind. Tasha was extremely knowledgeable about the area as we are new to Dallas. Also, the maintenance gentlemen have been very sweet when we’ve come in contact with them.

It wasn't a perfect move-in but they did make the effort to correct the problems. Management is very good. Christina goes above and beyond to provide you with that at home experience. Too many dogs in the complex but other than that I won't complain.

HIGHLY Recommend Stone Ridge!

Stone Ridge was my first apartment moving to the DFW area. I lived here for a year and without a doubt was the best apartment experience. Not even my college apartment was this phenomenal. What makes living here so exciting besides the connivence of the area, the stores, the accessibility, and the price, is the staff. Tasha, Veronica, Christina, SUCH outstanding ladies! Residents usually go to the office for packages and what not, I go in the office to literally just hang out with the staff. They’re just wonderful. I’m sad to be leaving as I am moving closer to work in Fort Worth, but I will 1000/10 recommend this apartment to anyone seeking a new home. Stone Ridge feels like home the moment you enter the complex :)

I've been renting here for 18 months. I have to move out because my lease is ending and I need another bedroom, but I'm not eligible anymore for that new apartment, although I have a good renting history and good credit. I wanted to stay here because it has been a good experience. The property is in a very convenient location with grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, and all you need not far away, and close access to primary roads. I liked that it is a small apartment complex, compared to those around here, so there's less chance of dealing with unpleasant neighbors. I actually didn't deal with any unpleasant neighbor, the only thing was that some of them didn't pick up after their dogs. I liked the feeling of the "inside garden"; I didn't feel exposed when taking my dogs out at night. I liked that the property kept the gates closed, and when they weren't working, tried to fix them as soon as possible. Parking can be challenging after certain hours, although now is better. Anyway, you have the option of renting a carport or garage, which will solve that. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets are outdated, but the apartment in general is kept in good condition. Also, the grounds, dog park, and breezeways have regular maintenance. What I liked the most was the property management team. Whenever I placed a service order, it was fixed within hours. Saul is very knowledgeable and courteous. Tasha and Veronica at the office are always ready to help, but the best is Chris, the property manager. She is courteous, always trying to help, and she's very professional. When an issue with my dogs happened, she didn't rush to punish me but to hear my side of the story. When having to address issues on the property, like parking in spots without a permit, or leaving trash out on no-pick-up days, she is direct but polite. She contributed a lot to make pleasant my stay here.

Main issues is a Property Manager who does not manage the office administration well. Environment is noisy w/landscapers out several times a week doing nothing but keeping up noise;, high water bills, mailbox break ins, no security, flooding problems in cold weather. Best thing is that Tipton does provide prmpt maintenance. But apts are older. Environment could be better if the manager Chris would actually work and show care anout the complex.! .

To have moved here without first seeing the property, I am very pleased. The apartments are well-kept and the maintenance team is very attentive. Perhaps the one area is to see the security gates closed. During the day, they are open due to the school buses coming through. I would like to see all other times, the entrance be off limits for non-residents.

The staff has been wonderful. Everyone has been kind and quick to respond to any issues. Our unit is in desperate need of renovations. While here we've experienced flooding twice, a broken refrigerator, light fixtures falling from the ceiling, and broken plumbing, among other things. The office and maintenance team have always been very responsive to the issues.

Although there were some initial issues when we moved in, they were quick to resolve them. The staff are friendly and area is generally well-maintained. The area has a lot of apartment complexes which results in a lot of cars parking outside the gate, the gated area is secure and safe. Most of the neighbors are friendly as well. The apartments are quite comfortable, not a much heat or cold comes in, probably because of where I'm staying.

I love my apartment and the staff's very Attentive. When I put in a work order either the same day are the next day it's fixed. The only thing I don't like is the water bill high and I'm the only one in here so why my water bill so high.

Nice and quiet community. Safety can be a concern at times though because the gate is not working 50 to 60 percent of the time. Also the lights in the breezeway in building 6 frequently go out and are off more than on. It's dark and makes it hard to even put my key in the door or see who maybe outside the door.

Amazing Staff!!!

Veronica and the rest of the staff are amazing! From the moment we walked through the door she was extremely professional and courteous. We viewed an apartment that day, and while we were still shopping around, they made sure to check back with us after a few days and provide any extra information we needed. The apartments themselves are very nice for their age and the grounds are well kept and the amenities are nice. After move in, any issues we had were immediately resolved by maintenance and we’ve had no further issues a month in. Veronica and the rest of the staff are always very kind and are great with their communication. It’s a huge step up from our nightmare of previous apartments.

Nice apartment!

These apartments rock! Very well kept and nice and quiet. The inside of the apartment is even better very spacious with tons of closet space. Parking is a little hard if you get home late but other than that I love it!

Amazing service and complex
