We were shown a model apt an assured pur would be exactly the same with new carpet etc. The day before move in we pay everything get our keys etc to find our apt is in the rattu looking back of the complex .No new carpet no mantel an no buolt in shelves. managers excuse was that the girl who told us ours would be the same as the model was a temp. Now its moving day and we arrive to find the AC does npt work. Its August in Texas an 92 inside the apt. Five hrs later it still has not been fixed. The grounds look like crap. of course we were shown a unit up front near the office where its clean and has landscaping landscaping.

I lived here on an 8 month lease, which seemed weird to me. The management did change just as I moved in, but they've done little more that put in some grass. Drug dealers are living here, people smoke pot in the parking lot. Most of the residents drive subwoofers on wheels and show no consideration, no matter the time of day. They are VERY hostile if you ask nicely to keep their music down (I was threatened to be killed and spat on). Office says they will do something, but never do. Laundry facility is vandalised often (doors ripped off driers). Roaches are a big problem, they will charge you monthly for pest control that never shows up. They only showed up twice, when I begged them for it... It was cheap, so I get what I pay for, but now they're rasing the rent. No way is this place worth what they are charging now. Appliances are old and rusted, they would not replace. And their "New" parking lot? They just painted it black... Overall: Below average and not safe.

Since my last review things have changed. The insulation is still thin so you can hear a lot coming from outside. One of the neighbors was asked to leave but he does show up late at night or early morning. He honks his "train" horn. This place is still noisy and I don't think that will change unless they keep renovating including the inside of several apartment units. The staff is amazing they have really gone above and beyond for us and the maintenance guys are awesome they like to play with my baby and make her laugh and smile. The new management team have made these apartment better looking. The rent is reasonable and the floor plans are spacious. The best way I can completely describe here is every city has a "------" area and this would be it for Lewisville. Several of the people living here or visiting seem to think it's ok to blast their music usually at night when in the apartment complex. I understand doing it on the road but when you're pulling up to a residential area it's common courtesy to lower your music.

My family and I have lived here for over 2 years now, and we are leaning towards signing another lease. While previous management and staff left much to be desired, since the new management came in, the complex has improved SO much. Evelyn, the manager, is professional, polite, and friendly. Not a pushover, but she listens to your concerns, and, as long as you are a decent resident, tries her best to accommodate you. Everything you would hope for in a manager! She is also a wonderful liaison for corporate. Myra works in the front office, and she is wonderful. She is very friendly and provides wonderful customer service. She has always helped me when I have had a problem. Maintenance is fabulous!! Mike and David are extremely professional, and very friendly guys. They actually know what they are doing, and when they fix something, they always do it right. Love them. The whole staff is great. They are one of the main reasons we are seriously considering renewing our lease. The complex is in the process of being renovated. The complex is old, and the buildings/rooms were definitely showing it, but the renovations that have been done so far are beautiful. Once the renovations are complete, the complex will be beautiful. There are some noise problems, but it's not all the time. I will say that the apartments themselves are not insulated as well as they could be. Definitely quieter the further back in the complex you can get. I have had a few pest problems, but all were reported and taken care of promptly. Residents here can be hit or miss. We are lucky to have great neighbors/residents in our whole building, but some of the residents in other buildings aren't the greatest.. All in all, I really like this place. It's not perfect, and there are absolutely better complexes out there, but this one works for my family. Price is very reasonable - especially if you consider the amount of space you are getting. Current management/staff is great - huge plus. Complex is being renovated - also a huge plus.

With new management Autumn breeze has become so beautiful and a great place to stay. The pool area is wonderful. We have two pools and a hot tub. Maintenance is great it don't take them long to respond to an issue. Friendly neighbors and a beautiful community

I've seen the good, the bad and the ugly, but most recently it is the GOOD!!! I just want to say thanks to the staff at Autumn Breeze for all the great improvements. I LOVE the beautiful pool area, and my kids LOVE the soccer field. I plan to take full advantage of the bbq grill and tables this summer. I can't wait for the gym to be finished. The new management is friendly and helpful and maintenance has also been helpful. Thank you!!

I lived here with my fiancee and infant daughter for approx. 13 months and consider this to be THE single worst experience of my young life. Aside from the apartment being infested with bedbugs, and when i say infested, i mean that every morning if we wanted to see a bedbug, we needed only to look under our pillow, it was nasty. We stayed bitten, and a sad thing it is to see an infant with bedbug bites. I can recall many a sleepless night caused by my daughter or fiancee getting awakened by numerous bites. Almost as bad were the roaches, and we kept a clean house. We lost a good deal of food to the garbage can (would have been the garbage disposal, had it ever gotten repaired) because we could open the refridgerator and watch the roaches enjoy the smorgasborg that was our foodstuffs. I cant speak for everyone that lived there, but my next door neighbor was a parolee, and every month he got his apartment inspected to make sure there werent drugs? dead bodies? who knows??? Not to mention he had a RAP studio set up against basically all of our walls. Call me old fashioned, but I have yet to meet a newborn baby that enjoys being awakened at 3 am to a criminal rapping over DMX, or the constant domestic disputes that came from not only that apartment, but most others within earshot as well. I can recall one morning where i was awakened to a female screaming HELP through the walls, followed by the beating on the door from the LPD and the ensuing 30 minute dispute settlement that occured right outside our door. Talk about a rustic environment!!!! Endless parties in the parking lot, plenty of bass, the revving of engines, both half dead cars as well as motorcyles, screaming unattended children from dawn to dusk, combined with a neverending barrage of car alarms and police sirens, accented with the aforemention domestic disputes that seemed to be the glue that held this place together created a truly miserable and rest/worry free environment. The management was deceitful from start to finish, the maintenence was a mere shadow at best, we had to truly go to war to get any single issue adressed, the laundry facilities ate all our change regularly, my mailbox looked broken into on more than one occasion. Overflowing dumpsters teeming with bedbug infested furniture and trash blowing by on your morning walk as though it were sagebrush (in NEW JERSEY). The only truly positive thing that i can say about this hell hole is that my family got out of there untouched, unraped, and alive (we did have our car broken into). the budget suites provides more peace, comfort and safety than this. Unless you want to lose everything you own to bedbugs, live in a ------ fabulous rap video, or have just decided to write off the quality of life for you and your family I say... High Management Turnover, Rude Employees

At first the leasing manager and assistant was nice as can be. Only one maintenance - -------- - was nice and overworked.The other maintenance are either on cell phones, taking one of many breaks, or pretend they are working. Management convinced me of being a second chance rental. Price was high. Once I moved in, found out another who moved in a day before me with the same apartment layout was paying $695 per month. That is 84 dollars less than what I was paying. Plus cars are being broken into. Car alarms are constantly sounding day and all night! Drug users banging on my door as well! I was scared! I have no other place to live. I found Autumn Breeze in 2009. I am constantly trying to make ends meat! So, had no other choice but to move out!

roach motel city. The first night of my move in i heard gun shots, my fifth night a random drunk guy was trying to enter my apartment, and on my tenth night my car was almost broken into. Maintance was quick on sealing cracks but it was poorly done. Pest control virtually lives on site because the roaches are that bad. Office staff is nice because they know of the high turn over rate. Other residences tap into other apartments electric and cable. I told the office manager and nothing was done about it. Teenage kids are always outside smoking weed or boxing each other. I wouldnt move in here. Dont let the cheap rent fool you.

WORST PLACE EVER!

these are the worst apartments i have ever lived in! the managment is pretty descent except for megan! she is very rude and allways cuts you off and talks down to yo . she likes to have an attitude for no reason! when u have the maintnence come to fix things they allways leave a messor they dont fix the problem and they are severly rude as well. their is a huge drug problem within these complex. we have had our door kicked in and are stuff robbed out of our apartment. we have also had our windows shot out as well as rocks thrown threw them. when u call the police they do not do their jobs to fix the problems. the parents also let thier children run around. their is alot of grafitein this place. thier is a HUGE roach problem. and spider and mice problem in the apartments. my nephew had also gotten a gun pulled on him because aparently you can not wear red in blue in ur outfits at the same time for their is obviously a gang problem around her as well!! i would defenently never recomend this place for anyone unless you want easy acces to drugs and prosituts.

Interesting Place to Live? Just DON'T!

We moved in April 2009, got the 1 bedroom for 566, which was a LITTLE steep, but seemed to be a good deal when you had to move so quick! At the beginning things were fine, the maintenance is great and as long as he stays things will always get done! Neighbors on the other hand, you might have 1 out of 30 that are decent, if they aren't yelling and screaming drunk with their front door open, they are in the front of your apartment building throwing a party and peeing on the bushes!! Kids constantly running around is fine, but when they are pulling down the landscaping and management said, "they're just kids," it get's a little ridiculous! We were told about security when we moved in, guess what!! NONE! The cops patrol this are quite frequently, and you wonder why? Well I don't, the place is full of drugs! Management changes, and the manager is GREAT, but unfortuanatly her leasing agent is EVIL, she doesn't talk to you, hangs up on you and is SHORT with you about any situation that is occuring! There is constantly trash and broken beer bottles, cans and other "things" laying around the grounds. If you enjoy this type of scenery, feel free to move here, but I on the other hand prefer quite, relaxed and enjoyable.. I moved out!

Great Place To Live Do Not Be Fooled By The Bad Ratings

I have lived here sense January 1, 2010. They brought in a new manager and she is great. I have actually seen great improvements. I do not see cars being broken into although my neighbors said before the new manager can in that the place was a pit. I would recommend the apartments to anyone that is looking for the best value for the dollar. They don't charge water and you can pick any electric company you want. I have heared my neighbors say that the new manager really gets things done. I do not know what was going on before I moved in; but the new manager has really been good to us and my maintenance request are always done same day or the manager calls to let us know what the status is. Great Place To Live.

So Glad I Live Here Best Value For Your Dollar

I was not wanting to even look at the place from the reviews I saw; but the price was right so I thought I would just look & I am glad I did. The manager & staff are very freindly. I was told that they have had a new manager since February that is really cleaning the place up. We have a resident crime watch team that is great. The electric bills this summer are a little high; but with these temperatures I guess everyone is experiencing that. Maintenance is great when I had my A/C not cooling they were their within the hour & got it fixed the first time.

Best apartments i have ever rented...i love it when the -------- mexican kids run through out the street unsupervised, drugs being sold to anybody who has the money and people having sex on the washer and dryer..these apartments are entertaining :) The Maintenance were a ------- joke, im still waiting for one of those pecker heads to show me there dang ga lang lol....Gangstas paradise fasho, the owners are great i paid rent then they took my money and went into the complex and bought drugs from the crooked cop that runs the apartments. This place is gREattt!!!! i highly recommend this place to live till you dieee

Parking is non-existant. Loud music thru the walls at all hours, even 8am Sunday mornings. Kids run wild thru the complex at all hours of the day and night with NO supervision. Cheap, but you get what you pay for.

CRIME WAS HORRIBLE, CARS ALWAY BEING BROKEN INTO. DRUGS WERE EVERY WHERE. COPS WERE THERE EVERY SINGLE NIGHT.CRACK HEADS FAVORITE HANGOUT SPOT. POOL WAS ALWAYS UNAVAILABLE.I THINK I SWAM ONCE THERE, TRASH EVERYWHERE!!! ONE TIME MY APPARTMENT GOT FLOODED AND I MEAN FLOODED BECAUSE OF AN UP STAIRS RESIDENTS AND THEY SAID I HAD TO PAY TO GET NEW CARPET AND MY THINGS WERE RUINED AND I HAD AN EXPENSIVE LEATHER COUCH, THAT WAS HISTORY...DIDNT EVEN BOTHER TO HELP OR EVEN OFFER TO HELP WITH ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING GOT RUINED. NEVER CALLED ME TO LET ME KNOW IT WAS FLOODED, SO THINGS WERE JUST ROTTING ALL DAY, AND THE ACTUAL APARTMENT WAS PUT TOGETHER VERY SHITY. PAINT EVERYWHERE, AND COULD TELL THE WALL PAINT WAS THICK AND FALLING OFF EVERYWHERE.. ....LAUNDRY ROOM WAS ALWAYS DISCUSTING AND DIRTY TO THE MAX...YOUR CLOTHES ALWAYS STUNK LIKE DIRTY LAUNDRY SO YOU ONLY USED IF YOU HAD TO!!! Beware!

I lived here for 3 and 1/2 years. I had some personal problems with my roommate and need to leave for my safety. I went to the office and got the "correct forms" needed to take me off the lease. They were very helpful! I had him sign the forms and he took them to the office and was told I was off. He ended up breaking his lease but I didn't care because I wasn't on it anymore. WRONG! I just put in an application at new apartments and was denied due to Autumn Breeze! When I called them to find out why they put it on my credit they were rude and said all the forms he filled out did was not allow me in the apartment! I actually care about my credit so if I would have been told that I would have figured something else out! Beside the office being liars the apartments were horrible to live in. My car got broken it to....the light bill was too high probably because the a/c never worked right but they never wanted to fix it.....cops always there....BEWARE!

TRUST?

This is a good place to live. The parking is an issue, but thats understood. The maintance does take a long time to respend if you dont stay on them. They lie about you leasing agreement and then ---- you over. I was told that if my job transfers to another city that I would be able to move once I was transferring. They lied. I was told my the leasing manager that I was told that just to lease the apartment. Do not live here if you need trust between the ownership and the renter. Everyone is nice and helpful, but they decieved me and they will do the same to you. Believe me, they will ---- you over

I am not happy with the apartments at all. Maintenace does not respond in a timely manner. The ad says the complex has a fitness center this is not true. The two pools they mention have not been opened all year and there is never any parking.

Would not recommend

I would not recommend this complex to anyone. Management is unprofessional. My car was vandalized six months ago and I was told they were increasing security but still nothing has happened. Children run around day and night, leave half eaten food in front of my door. (I'm not anti-child by the way as I have one of my own.) I've been woken up more than once by screaming, loud music, the police arresting people in the parling lot, etc. Some tenants drive 30-40 mph through the parking lot. I'm moving tomorrow, which was clearly stated on my 30 day notice, and the manager came to my apartment yesterday to ask why I was still here, because she had people moving in in 3 days! The only positive is the maintenance department. Everything was always taken care of immediately. I'm glad to be leaving.
