We loved living there!!!!
We have read all the other statement about Autumn Breeze and we would have to disagree we loved living there. My family and I lived a Autumn Breeze about 3 year and we would have to say that in the last year things were wonderful they got a new office staff who was very friendly and helpful. Angela the manager there is really great with the kids who live there she alway talks to our son when we going there and she alway has candy for them. She made it really nice to go down to the office any time we had any problems. The maint. men there were alway there with in 24hrs to fix any problem we had. In closing we justed wanted to say we loved living there and the only reason we moved is because we bought a house.

Sick and Scared
This was the most inexpensive 2 bedroom apartment for its size, in Lewisville. Now I know why. The management seems to change yearly. I was lied to upon signing the lease on several matters. I was told there was new carpet, but it was an old carpet with very dirty padding underneath.

One of the three family members has been sick every month. All three of us developed asthma since we moved in. The reason? The apartment downstairs had severe foundation problems, and all of the rain water drained into their bedroom wall. Their bedroom walls and carpet were wet or damp for two years straight. They advised the office over 20 times that this needed to be corrected, or they needed to move to a different apartment. They were constently sick as well. Finally, after being threatened with media coverage, and a lawsuit, the office relocated our neighbors for a fee (the fee was finally waived, as a "favor" to them).

Empty apartments are filled very quickly, but the "moldy" apartment has been vacant for over a year and a half. At one time, it was boarded up. The apartment complex would not move us, and said everything is fine.

Our cars have been vandalized, along with at least 5 others per week!

Police used to drive through every night, but have now stopped. I think they are afraid of the GANG that moved in 6 months ago! Yes, a gang, and they threaten the tenants, are loud, and have me scared to live here. There have been several drive-by shootings (even before the gang moved in). The office was even broken into, and rent checks were stolen. The office called and advised me that I would be late if I didn´t turn in my check. When I told them I paid on the first, like usual, they admitted to the check being stolen, but up until then they didn´t see fit to let me know so I could stop payment.
Parking is a big issue also; when you have about 8 people living in a 1 bedroom apt, all of whom have cars, you generally have to park in Timbucktu. This is particularly frustrating when hauling groceries.
If you want to sleep lightly and live in fear of your life, Autumn Breeze is for you.

You may save money on the apartment, but you´ll have to buy a gun.

Feel like slummin?
Not recommended unless your budget is so tight-its either this place, or the mission. I was unfortunateley here for far too long, and if I had it to do over again, I would have lived someplace else. The noise from the apartment above me was ungodly. Every morning I awoke to the sounds of tejano hits ringing through my ceiling (so loud I could hear the words) at about 6:00 am. Next was the incessant stomping of no less that 8 people running back and forth through the apt. There were idiot kids chucking bowling balls off of the 2nd floor front porch and constant noise. If you want your apt exterminated, better hide your valuables (anywhere except your wife´s underwear drawer...they like to rifle through that) We had 4 credit cards stolen. Maintainence is a mythical thing, that may have once existed, but is long since extinct. Submitting any complaints must be done in writing, but you might as well save your time and paper because nothing is ever done to correct the situation. However, if you plan on breaking every rule outlined on the lease you sign, then this is definitely the place for you! I could rant forever, but I will just end by saying unless you are looking to live in "the ------" do not rent here.

(I submit anonymously for fear of being burglarized.)

Just short of Section 8 housing
Maintenance lacks the training to fix correctly, lighting is poor in most areas, laundry facilities are nasty 90% of time, trash, machines not working, mailbox areas trashy, pool area ( when open)has dirty diapers laying arounds, feces in pool, beer bottles, cans thrown about. people swimming in clothes. Courtesy officer not available for most part. Loud music(Latin)coming from cars, racing of motors, screeching of tires, dumpsters not emptied adequetely.
Office staff seems concerned when you approach them and then is forgotten. Landscaping is terrible, parking is horrible and the rash of car burglaries & damage is unthinkable.
I am ashamed to have friends or relatives come over. I don´t feel safe there any longer. Still waiting for apt to be fixed from 2 yrs ago.
