If you're thinking about moving to the Legacy Brooks Apartments in SE San Antonio, don't. Not only does management not care about your experience here, but two of the front office employees (Elza and Johanna) should not be working there at all as they are the problem with management. The apartment walls are very thin in comparison to other apartment complexes that we've lived in, the property consistently has broken community gates and stolen packages, and the mailboxes do not lock so I hope you're not expecting anything important. The complex has little to no security cameras or features on the property, but claims to be "luxurious". I don't understand how they can advertise it as luxury when the apartment floors are falling through, there's water stains throughout the ceiling, and there's trash sprawled all throughout the property. The entire community of Legacy Brooks should be torn down, rebuilt, and have new staff.

It's a great place to live there's is a bug problem where I am staying it is very hard to get rid of on my own and the upstairs people constantly run and jump and it's so noisy. Other than that the location is great, the pool is great, wish it had visitor parking instead of having to get passes

You ---- will get stolen. You have to pay for you duct work to be cleaned or so I was told as I pulled my dryer out and check the vent hose to find a whole --- bird nest. The leasing office is a joke and the lady's that work there are useless.

Beautiful Apartment Community!

I've been at Legacy Brooks for a year now and absolutely love it! The property is just so beautiful and very well kept by the maintenance staff. Coming up on our renewal and Katherine has been extremely helpful with how the process works. The front office staff is amazing always ready to help with any questions or concerns we may have. Looking forward to living at Legacy for another year!!

The office staff has been rude, does not address my concerns, has not bothered to fix the on-site mailboxes after months of requests from multiple residents, residents don't pick up after their pets, there have been various criminal incidents involving vehicles with no concern from property management, and trash is strewn and left on property where maintenance doesn't think it is highly visible. I would expect a place that charges as high a rent as you pay here to take much better care of the above issues and more, but that is not the case here at Legacy Brooks.

Love it here, we feel safe, it is quiet, the step is great, the pool area is beautiful. We have been here 2 years I'm trying to renew our lease contract and hope to include a garage soon. Have already recommended these apartments many times.

The experience has been decent. The hallways are very dirty and I could see how that would discourage people from living in this community. The pool seemed to be rarely open all summer which was disappointing.

I toured the apartment a couple of months before I moved in the apartment was beautiful and I fell in love with the floor plan. One of the workers helped me through the entire process and I was able to get the place I wanted.

Well for a while I was searching a home for me to move in cause I was working in Austin and my job was gonna transfer me to San Antonio so I was looking a nice place close to my job so one day I was driving by and saw the place, y looked it at google maps and saw many things that I said this is the place. From the nice rooms to the beautiful pool, I was excited to go and see. When I went the staff immediately helped me in with my information and all that was needed to move in, there was not a issue with my move in. The day I moved in I was all and more I was expecting, the room was nice, the kitchen was beautiful, and all the features was working very well, I was even more excited when I saw a park next to the building. I was a ver good decision to move here, the community is chill and it's very close to restaurants and super markets, I'm very glad I made a good chose.

Although this is a Great community and they have good management. Some of the amenities aren't being provided like the smart system. Every time I inquire about this service I'm told soon at this point it's been almost 4 months.

I have been living in this community for five years. I never had any problem. Staff were friendly. There were some issues with the use of swimming pool in recent years (it was too crowded, to say a least). It looks this year was different. The swimming pool is under maintenance now (like for two weeks, which is a problem because the season is almost over- The swimming pool should be fixed during winter time or winter break and not when temperature is still in the 90's degree.

The community is well kept and a good size, not too large or too cramped. The apartments are in good condition and appealing. Management is helpful and available during normal business hours. Maintenance and grounds staff keep the place looking spotless. The pool is really nice and management seems to keep a good eye on it 9-5 during the week. On the weekend all their strict rules for the pool, parking, and trash collection seem to go out the window. You do have many neighbors on a single floor and in a building; expect some to be more considerate than others. The windows tend to let a lot of noise in, so barking dogs on a balcony or loud cars on the highway and parking lot can be heard in your apartment. Management does take any issues, especially maintenance seriously. The gym is usable, the treadmills are due for retirement but overall you can get a good workout on the life fitness style machines and if you go at an hour without too many people there are dumbbells available. The real workout gem is the park next door. It has a nice track, a kids playground, some courts, and is kept clean; within walking distance. The location of the place is great, the front street leads into a neighborhood and your far back enough from military drive that you don't feel like traffic is going by at your front door. The apartment complex is also on the east side of 37 allowing for a calmer drive home with good access to the highway for a work commute. Especially on the weekends there tends to be a mess of traffic on the west side down military drive due to the HEB, Walmart, and other shops on that side. So you get the full benefit of being only a couple lights away from everything you need but you avoid the traffic on your daily commute. Lastly there is a SAPD security patrol that checks on things and a tow truck that scouts the parking lot for permits. I've lived here a year and definitely the best apartment I have had so far.

Justin was amazing when I moved in Katherine has been wonderful And excels in her role. She should have taken over when Justin left . She knows her residents and is a great problem solver. I will say that closing the pool for two weeks sucked but what was even more disappointing was going to the pool the day it opened and it was filthy.

Pool is always closed due to management unable to keep people out who do not live here. Although several of the staff do live here it is too much of a hassle to go and check pool area after office hours. Should not take that problem out on the tenants who live here for those amenities listed to the public?and property is not always clean

Great yard size for two small/medium dogs. The finished concrete floors make cleaning a breeze. The appliances are stainless steel with black trimming. The complex is well maintained and very pet friendly.

Legacy Brooks is a great place to live. The management group does a wonderful job. Maintenance is fast and problems are corrected most of the time same day. The grounds are well maintained and always look well kept.
