I have lived at Haven at Blanco for 10 months. By far, it has been the worst experience that I have ever had with any apartment community or property manager. Many of the reviews on this site reference how friendly and inviting the staff is. I will admit they do "SEEM" very friendly and inviting, but so does a used car salesman that's trying to sell you a lemon. All of the staff have a misguided moral compass and lack of integrity. They always act very friendly around the community, until you have a problem or maintenance issue. Then, all of sudden, they're not held liable for your situation or they will lie to you with a friendly, exuberant smile on their face. There is an extremely high crime rate in this apartment community consisting of stolen vehicles, cars being broken into, and wheels being stolen with the vehicles left on blocks. All of this was happening with an inoperable "controlled access" gate. It breaks repetitively and takes the staff forever to fix. They'll tell you that your lease states that they are not held liable for it. But, if crime is happening in an apartment community and they can mitigate and/or prevent it, they can be held liable for your personal damages in court. If you are thinking about signing a lease in this apartment community, do yourself a favor. When they are driving you around on their golf cart, waving at everyone and putting on their fake smiles, kindly ask them to stop the cart, so that you can ask current residents what their experience has been like living in this apartment community. I guarantee that you will change your mind.

The team at the office was very helpful. There made the move easy and convenient for us, as well as welcoming us so politely. We are very satisfied with the community itself with such a beautiful property and great amenities. Our 3 bedroom apartment is comfortable and was well prepared for move in. We are happy with the decision!

It is usually very quiet and it is pretty clean except for trash that falls in the stairwell and is never picked up by the trash valet the office staff are nice and responsive. The apartments are nice looking and well kept.

Its a great apartment complex; amazing staff and amenities. I wish the upkeep was better however. The obstacle course is also poorly kept. The only negative experience I have had is the maintenance done recently on 3/11/2019. Also wish there was more communication about the work being done or upgrades being done to the complex.

I really enjoy this complex as a whole. When I first moved in, there were more socials and activities like paint night for the residents. People don't pick up their dogs poop but the complex tries to stay on top of that. The pool and gym are always clean and people are respectful of the equipment/ stuff around the pool area. They have an obstacle course on the premicise which is pretty cool in my personal opinion. The only complain I have is the new neighbours upstairs which are incredibly loud but the late night patrol have been good about talking with them when we call to complain. Overall it's a great complex with good people and nice amenities for the price.

Very clean and the office staff are extremely helpful! Love the pool and gym. Use both of them almost all the time and it's always nice. The price is a little steep, but you do get what you pay for. The neighborhood is very quiet even though it is by a busy street.

A huge selling point for the Haven at Blanco was a pet friendly environment. My dogs and I have been happy here since we moved in. The apartment homes are new , and maintenance always responds right away whenever I need anything. I highly recommend this apartment facility to anyone.

I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone here in San Antonio. I have had no issues whatsoever in the year that I have lived here. I had two maintenance issues that were fixed within the same day. I have a 7 year old and this complex and SUPER family oriented and close to the school and a ton a children from his school live here, which is a plus!

It all starts with the staff! From the moment i walked in on the weekend my gf and i felt so welcomed! The staff are friendly and made us feel like family! Our neighbors are amazing! We met so many people nice and caring people.

Apartment was not clean/maintained when I moved in. Disorganized comunication . HVAC not maintained. Parking is a mess, people park in fire lane and block you in. Dog park and grass full of dog feces because residents don't pick up after their animals..

Amazing apartment and complex. Our unit was not ready to be moved in. They "fixed or cleaned" but upon further inspection there was more that was missed. Not all has been fixed yet. Other then that the communitiy is amazing. It's in the perfect location and near everything. Feels so close to everything which is perfect for us. The pool is nice and there is an opstical course too.

I pay a lot of money for this unit and it is not worth it honestly. The only thing that makes it bearable is the attached garage and the fact the dog park is out my back door which has been great for my senior dog. They don't enforce the policy of picking up your dog poop that is laying everywhere or clean up the park regularly in the summer gnats and fleas have been awful. Can't keep packaged breads or table fruit out without tightly sealed containers or they will be infested. Although the staff is friendly and tries to accommodate the extremely noisy neighbor situations they won't guarantee that I have someone quiet living around me and I understand they can't. But 45 units available and they move them right above me again -- seriously? This has been one of the worst rental experiences of my life. I never thought I would want to be strapped with a mortgage until now. For the amount I pay for this unit i can buy a house and I am. The kitchen is also a huge fail when it comes to size. Only 3 overhead cabinets in a 2 bedroom apt. Certainly not enough space for a family with 4 table settings and cookware. I've seen larger kitchens in studios and efficiencies. hardly a luxury kitchen. Yes I'm cranky... I hate that I wasted all this money on an expensive lease. But the staff is nice. That the only reason I haven't contacted a lawyer to get out of this lease legally. What a nightmare. :(.

They have the best management staff, they are always responsive and friendly. The maintenance staff are also very helpful, polite and friendly. Only negative issue is parking. There are times when you cannot find a single space even in the complex.

good staff and great price for the size of the unit. was able to do all paperwork and get in rental on a Sunday!!! That made it sooo easy for me as work is a twelve hour day, so finding time to see apartments is difficult.

Once I moved in the apartment it was filled with ants all over the carpet and the colony was underneath kitchen wall where bar stools go. The wall for some reason is not attached at all to the floor. If you walk outside there is dog poop everywhere and will smell on hot days. The thermostat does not work properly regardless of the maintenance coming and installing a new one. The shower door does not close properly making water leak onto the bathroom floor. The shower knob is not installed correctly making it go past the off and scorching hot water will come out. The toilet does not have good pressure as you have to hold the handle until all has gone down then you can release the handle. When asked if I could have new carpet installed I was told no. I let them know I would not mind paying for it and was still told no. Property manager CF and leasing manager TA are not approachable at all and will quickly dismiss your complaint and will talk to you as if you were not paying 1200/m. This is a lot of money to be spending on a place where you will not be treated with the least good customer service. If you are to drive a little bit further I am sure there are better communities where you are treated with respect. I do not recommend this community to anyone. I plan to move as soon as possible.
