Unfortunately, every rating I would give would be negative when concerning the office staff! Today, I actually had to respectfully resquest from the office representative, to, please out herself in my shoes and to not speak to me in a condescending tone and manner! Why must I give the alarm code everytime my apartment needs any service, with office staff stating they do not have my code, which has been provided not only upon move-in, but with practically every service request? Then, service requests are not completed in a timely manner. Additionally the office staff speaks to the customer in a condescending manner/tone not only verbally, but visually and physically (bodily and facially expressive). What exactly must a tennant do to receive decent, professional, and respectful customer service to address the needs of the respective tennant? Kindly provide guidance so that we, as customers, tennants, will receive that which we are entitled to as tennants/customers should receive.

This is one of the worst apartments I've ever stayed in for the price. I've seen in places that cost less than this and they weren't the best and I expected that but at least they did care about their residents and made sure maintenance was done in a timely manner. The apartment they showed us looked nothing like the apartment we moved in. They painted over the dirt in the tub there was hair painted over and more. The apartment was not ready when we moved in. It is very clear they do not care about their residents. Company does not make sure the outside lights are working or carport lights are working.I'm sure you read some of the reviews about car tires being stolen. I asked them to fix one of the lights on the building that had been out since I moved there because of this reason. The office staff office assured me it would get done and it's never been fixed. One light was out when we moved in and my son asked them to fix because it was buzzing was working from home. They did eventually fix that because my son went in to tell them. It appears when women ask them to do something it does not seem to get done or it gets ignored. Keep in mind it's not our responsibility to make sure the outside lighting is functioning or not. Asked several months for them to fix my air conditioning. Often I would put in request and go into the office. I would say to them what I have been noticing did all the steps they asked me to do. then they would ask me the same questions over again which made me feel like I was stupid. Only to be told okay well we'll let our maintenance crew know. But nothing would happen. They will come in peek at the thermostat do nothing and then send You a survey asking you how they did. During the summer season my apartment was constantly hot never under 80 degrees and nothing was done. I even talked to the maintenance people myself. It's clear that they don't know how to fix the issue or they do not want to pay to have the issue fixed. The 12 months I have been here the stove keeps breaking down. The large front left eye just never worked we had no full functional stove. I have three more to go and I promise you I'm running and never looking back. had to go out and buy a shower knob at Lowe's because I asked them at least three times to fix it they never would fix it for months nobody fixed the shower. Thank God we had two showers. So my roommates had to use my shower. I don't mind sharing but what's the point of having two bathrooms if you can't use them? Because of the large gaping holes on the outside of many of the buildings ( see pics) . My daughter 10:19 pm at night heard scratching which sounds like a mouse has gotten inside of the walls. there is no drop box for rent. they require that you bring it during the work hours so if you work outside of those hours you are screwed. They Make you stand there while they count the rent.If you are a dollar short they will not take your rent and will send you back. I find that to be really petty and it makes you feel like you're not to be trusted. Typically when I go in there I am headed to work. I cannot stand there and wait for them to calculate. Also., if you're late you'll get a late fee. I have never ran into that problem I always pay my rent over. But just be aware of that. Maintenance will enter your apartment and never say they were there. I find that to be very intrusive rude and even scary. Why can't you share with people that you've been in their apartment to fix something or not? The only way I knew was they would send me a survey asking us how we did? well how would I know because you never tell me when you're going to fix something and when I get there it's still not fixed? Neighbor stated it takes an hour for her water to heat up. They were also stated there is a huge hole outside of her door on the ceiling on the outdoor. Neighbor stated when moved in dishwasher was full of mold covered Neighbor stated that they messed up her rent on what she owed. Kept saying she owed a certain amount when she had already paid them and this went on for her entire time of her first lease. Not sure why she would renew but she was in a position that she could not. Oh yeah when I went in there one day there was a lady who was trying to speak with an office manager about an issue. And office manager sent out the front office staff to tell her she did not have time to talk with her. The lady was very nice and asked her what would be a convenient time for her? And I'm not kidding she must have tried to redirect the conversation at least four times. She never got an answer and just told her well I'll be back when I have Time off from work. that is not the first time I've noticed things like that though I have noticed that when people go into the office they tend to hide away especially if there is some type of issue. I almost forgot we also had the shade and my daughter's bedroom that was not installed properly and hanging. The maintenance man brought us a new shade only to break The brand new one where you could actually see out the window and did not replace it. So to be fair I will say one thing positive. The grounds are kept clean and I only have seen one roach since I've been here. I tried to wait to post this review until after I moved. But after the rat in the wall tonight that was the last straw. Whatever you do; do not move here. Pay attention to the reviews. I have more photos but they only allowed me to post one sorry.

I love this community because of the great friend staff member Lichelle. She has been such a nice and sweet person since we moved in. We love our spacious apartment and high ceilings. Maintenance can use a bit of an upgrade but other than that we love it here.

I have been living at the villas at bandera for about 1 year now. My 2 bedroom apartment is very cozy and spacious. The outside landscaping is always very well kept up with it brings the beauty of the complex out and people who have visited me notice. Vanessa P.

Great affordable place to live. All residents are considerate and I haven't had a single problem in 1.5 years. Staff is friendly and understanding when issues arrive. Conveniently located on bandera road near plenty of markets.

Lived here for 3+ years and the current staff is rude and they love to lie! When I first moved in the staff was great. Now, they have Pam and a girl names Shannon who are very rude. The front office doors are blocked almost every morning because the sprinklers leave a pool of water blocking the entrance. It's even worse when it rains. The laundry room is always filthy and the machines smell of mildew. Apparently, you are also responsible for replacing the batteries for your smoke detectors yourself which I have never had to do. I even lived in class c places that did that for you. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

My wife and I have lived here for the last three years and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The layouts are appealing, the complex is quiet and the staff is personable. The few times we've had any maintenance issues the issues were resolved in an efficient and timely manner. We couldn't be happier with our home!

My husband and I moved in 4 years ago. We truly can't express how thankful we are that ------- and ---- are such wonderful staffs. They took the time to get to know each of us by name from the first day we moved in. They are always extremely friendly to us even when we were having a bad day. Not very often did something break, but when it did Villas at Bandera made sure it was repaired or replaced with a new item as quickly a possible. (Normally the same day unless the part had to be ordered) We are so happy we found this place when we did. It has been a good 4 years while we lived at Villas at Bandera.

I have been a resident here at the Villas for ten years now, and this is by far the best condition the property has been in during my ten years of residency. The renovations are beautiful that with the added benefit of being just far enough from Bandera that you cannot hear the noise of traffic but close enough to get to any highway in less than 15 min. The girls in the office are friendly and email crazy I love it. We have different food trucks coming all the time and also free resident dinners. I can honestly go on and on about the new way this complex is operating under the new management.

I have lived here for 2 1/2 years and I am ready to move. I initially liked the management and maintenance, but there have been several changes since I moved in. I had an issue in November that took over two months to half way resolve, the office recently tried to charge me for my patio furniture that has been out there for 2 years and passed several patio inspections prior, then they conveniently lost my 60 day notice that I would be moving out which almost cost me more fees. The manager has a lack of customer service skills and just escalates the issue even more. I left a review on Facebook recently and was retaliated against by the managers boyfriend (see screen shot pictures were attached, not sure why they don't show). This kind of behavior is apparently allowed by Corporate because as I tried to bring it to their attention, they have not bothered to call me or respond to my email. I have reported a constant leak outside my front door on 2/10 and 2/14, and was told it was resolved, but it has not been resolved at all (another picture was attached but not showing of what it looks like today 3 weeks after my first maintenance request on 02/10, its about half a foot deep and 7-8 feet around). The outdoor kitchen at the pool is purely for looks, the sink has never worked since they put it in almost 2 years ago. I do like my neighbors and don't hear the Bandera traffic too much. Other than that, save yourself the hassle and look for another apartment!

Oh my gosh! 4 days ago a new resident came to live at the apartment complex. He is mentally ill and living above our apartment, and he keeps making a lot of noise. Yelling, scratching the walls loudly, jumping around and shaking the whole apartment this has been going on since day one and nobody can get any sleep because of how incredibly loud it is. Its pretty scary actually because he is mentally ill and doesnt really understand what he is doing and could cause harm to the people around him and in the compex. He could easily walk out of the apartment and be a harm to other people. I understand that people have their problems, but when you cause this much chaos you should be getting some help. We went to the office, and they told us they will put him in a different apartment building on the first floor in two months. I dont know how i can live through this one day, but she told us we have to wait two months. We called the police and they could not do anything, and the office does not want to do anything. This is not something I would want to come home to, and everyday I dread coming home.

I just moved here about a month ago and am very pleased with my apartment at the Villas at Bandera. The staff were very helpful whenever I needed repairs or replacement of minor items. They follow up with an email to confirm the work was done satisfactorily. Elsa and the other office staff are very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend these apartments as they are spacious and clean.

The place is starting to look nice. ------- is a great manager, and does a great job trying to get the right people in this community. The people here are very friendly, and helpful. A complete stranger even helped my husband, and I get our new TV stand upstairs. Maintenance works very hard to make apartments available, and up to the future residents standards. The carpet guy did an amazing job cleaning our carpet, and making it look brand new. The owner does a great job checking on place, and letting his staff know the future plans. My 3 year old loves the park here, and never wants to leave when it's time to go. This place has been heaven compared to other places I have lived, and seen. Very spacious apartments.

Very nice apartments. Love the pool and fitness center. My son enjoys the playgrounds very much. Nicely updated inside. Staff is very helpful and are great! Constantly doing upgrades and making this a great place to live. Only issue really has been the gate clickers stopped working a couple weeks ago and still not resolved. I wish the garages were a bit less expensive ($75 a month seems a little high). I would have loved to avoid all the hail damage this last month. New asphalt looks great. Forced $30 a month garbage valet a bit annoying, I would much prefer to just take my own garbage to the dumpster. Overall though, great place to call your home.

I am still on the fence about this property. I have lived here almost 3 years and nothing has really changed except the employees and the name of the complex. The new owners are not from Texas and you can tell that by the style in which the complex is changing physically as well as the prices. It is a quiet community and the office staff are lovely ladies.
