You pay a lot for location and do not get much in return. Staff is friendly but the owners skimp and do not hire enough to meet the needs of the community. Also, noise is a fairly common issue, from 9 am leafblowers to false fire alarms once or twice a month to creaky ceilings if you don’t live on the top floor. This place is not bad, and it’s tough in a renters market to find too much better, but just be prepared for some trade offs. Overall, the people are pretty friendly, so that’s a plus.

Location has been great related to schools and work. Quick access to freeway and nearby establishments of groceries and restaurants. Easily accessible to Washington DC national Mall area. Easy access to metro lines. Love that it is pet friendly. Not too comfortable with lingering odor of pot smell that can be strong once in a while. Housekeeping tries to do a great job with the grounds and buildings. Could use a steam cleaning in hallway/stairway since it has all types of animals in and out.

Increasingly frustrated with Greystar. It’s difficult to get in communication with the leasing office. There isn’t a direct line. I had someone try to enter my apartment, I emailed the leasing office - no response. My upstairs neighbors throw trash and dog food on my balcony - no response after the first email. I have rats on my balcony as a result. Sent pictures - no further response. When changes are about, the notifications are emailed last minute or merely posted in the elevators which isn’t effective.

Great apartments and high overall quality of living at a very competitive price. I’ve never had any particularly negative experience. The staff has always been very helpful and communicative. As long as the price remains as competitive then I think it’s one of the very best options in the area.

Have better lease terms. In the DMV area there is a lot of job movement and to lock people in to the terms with no option to break lease (when that break is out of their control) is outrageous. I’m paying for 3 months of rent in an apartment I don’t live in because my only options were to payout the remaining three months in one lump or just continue paying. Outrageous

To expensive. Rent went up over $600 a month this go around. We knew it was gonna be raised but not that much. We were gonna move apts but we were told we would have to rent 2 apts during the transition. Doors for safety features still doesn’t work. I have complained 3 times and nothing has been done.

I enjoy living at Baileys Crossing. I like the convenience of being close to the Downtown DC area. I like that Im still in an urban environment and a neighborhood that is thriving. I love that we have a shuttle that takes us to the Metro and Pentagon City mall. Its a great community.

I have rented my entire adult life, and I have never had an experience like I have at Bailey’s Crossing. The property management staff are the most courteous, professional, and responsive I have seen or heard of. Other apartments I looked at before moving here had reviews saying that the management staff was rude, unresponsive, and just overall didn’t treat tenants like they were on the same team. Nothing could be further from the truth here at Bailey’s Crossing! One time I needed something from the management team in a pinch, and although the staff are always Super busy tending to the tenants, Badar dropped what he was doing and helped me that very moment! You can tell that the property management team really cares about the tenants and do everything in their power to ensure that everyone feels at home. The Bailey’s Crossing grounds, both inside and outside, are immaculately maintained and clean. There is a well-kept dog park, pool, gym, etc. and even a new playground for the kiddos! The maintenance staff at Bailey’s Crossing is hands down the best I have ever witnessed. I remember when I was shopping around for apartments, I saw some hideous reviews about maintenance staff at other apartments taking too long or doing shotty work. I decided to keep looking until I found a place with good reviews on the maintenance staff and I am so glad that I did. Bailey’s Crossing maintenance staff sets the gold standard for speed, quality, and professionalism. Even for non-emergency requests, the lead maintenance supervisor shows up at your door personally within an hour or two of a work order submission! I remember seeing reviews for other apartments that tenants waited a couple of weeks on a response, and I can’t imagine how terrible that must be. As long as I am a renter, I won’t live anywhere else!

A great, quiet community with the best location. The grounds are always well kept. The amenities are about as good as you can ask for. Although I dont attend most events due to my work schedule, I love that community events are held very regularly. The few maintenance requests Ive had are answered and completed very quickly. I will likely be renewing my lease.

Everything is great at this appartment complex. With it being a dog friendly complex I expected more noise but the walls are very sound proof. The complex does some fun community things like dog swims and socials to make things fun. My roommates and I love it here. Thankful for finding this gem!

Roaches, garbage, and weed. That about sums everything up here. Baileys has continuously gotten worse through the years. There are constantly parties happening IN THE HALLWAYS. All of the positive ratings are because Baileys gives incentives for good ratings to boost their appearance. The office staff is oblivious and rude. Overall disappointed.

Overall the community is good. Some issues with electronic door locks in the building doors (3608), Many people parking vehicles without permit stickers (need more control). People are smoking weed into the garage, inside the buildings (stairs), in this case I have migraine issues and this kind of aromas trigger my problem.

Great and safe environment. Friendly staff. Only issue is the elevators tend to go out from time to time. Other than that everything else is great here. Pool area, apt hallways and work out rooms are always clean.
