We have an amazing Manager who meets the residents expectations & does her best at her job! The apartments are clean and safe. We love everything about baileys crossing apartments from the complex itself, to the neighbors!

Very nice community. Very quiet. Havent experienced much of the amenities due to renovations and covid. Other than that the place is great and the location is great. You can get anywhere from the apartment complex.

Everything is pretty good as far as living in an apartment community goes. The grounds are nice to walk around and I love that its so pet friendly but is covered in poo. Plenty of doggie stations with bags and trash cans.

Always a pleasant experience here. You lose the sense that you live just outside of DC. It is like living in a peaceful cove! Surrounded by nature, there are so many bike trails to tackle and yet you are also so close to stores and nightlife!

We have lived here over 4 years and love it. We are only moving because we bought a house. This complex is great for dogs with lots of outside grounds to walk your dog and plenty of poop station to keep things clean. Our hot water tank was having some trouble and maintenance was great. They came on the same day we put in the order and checked everyday with us until it was fixed. They tried a couple different things to fix it but ultimately had to replace the unit.

I've been here at Bailey's Crossing for about 2 years now. I love my unit. It's spacious and feels like home. The leasing staff and maintenance staff are always friendly and helpful. The grounds are well maintained and the leasing staff is always putting together great activities to promote fun interactions. I love having food trucks here during the early stages of the pandemic.

The Baileys Crossing maintenance crew came to my rescue twice in one week after my air conditioning system stopped working. They were professional each time and made sure to fix the issue as quickly as possible. What an amazing crew!

Bailey's Crossing is a great place to live! I've been here for over 5 years and can say that it's affordable, quiet and close enough to everything you could want/need. If you're looking for a new place to settle down, I highly recommend stopping in and chatting with Brooke. Brooke is a rock-star who truly cares about the residents and the property and the maintenance team are superstars. You really can't go wrong with Bailey's Crossings!

Overall this is a great community. It has improved a lot over the course of the last year and I only see it getting better. The management team truly seems to care about the residents plus its a great cost value for the space, location and amenities.

We recently moved back after living overseas for several years. I've lived in many apartments and Bailey's has beautiful, spacious apartments with amazing bathrooms and upgraded finished and we even have a fireplace. I would like here for the bathroom and closet alone. Sure there are small problems like everywhere but the staff is doing a great job especially during this difficult COVID-19 pandemic. They got me moved in super fast, doing everything online with no in-person contact. And they responded to my maintenance issues quickly with appointments. They've had food trucks at the property almost everyday since we've been here (which helps to break up the monotony of stay at home). They even have package lockers so you don't have to interact with delivery people. The trash is picked up from your front door, and it's pet friendly. I'm glad to be back at Bailey's!

Worst move, ever....rent is too high, TWO trash fees, obsessive dog barking, constant, prevalent marijuana smoke, elevator frequently down, jump hoops for visitor pass, utilities constantly need repair (water/heat)....they beg you for a review upon move in. How can you review a place you haven't been in a month!? Keep looking......

so far it been pretty good, the staff are very kind and helpful being a new renter at Baileys crossing. Only disappointment was I moved into a terribly dirty apartment but the mover were already here to unload, I had to later clean carpets scrub toilets and scrub the kitchen and fridge out. SO far the only problems i have had are maintenance issue due to the apartment being empty for a few months and some of the maintenance staff have been rude. I was told i cant use my AC even if its hot in my apartment, because it winter which really upset me since i am the one paying the bills. The unit froze up and leaked all over the carpet, no matter what month it is that shouldn't happen. My neighbors are nice, its very quiet place to live and very clean. The services are wonderful just wish it had an updated gym with better equipment, doesn't look as nice as the pictures online.

I'm a current resident and I can highly tell everyone stay away rent somewhere else! I have never left a review before, but I'm going to leave one now...This place is a joke it smells like pot 24 seven and when you complain they laugh and tell you to call the police, because management doesn't want to do anything! I moved in in April and since then they began this "Capital Project" of construction. I am literally over the leasing office and they have done this for the last month and a half. They knowingly knew that this apartment was not eligible or should not have been rented, because of this project and yet they still forced me to take this particular apartment knowing they were going to be having us under construction not only three months later. Moreover, I had to pay extra to have not one but two balconies, which I came home from work tonight to find it under complete ruins and under construction so I don't know what I'm paying for, because I don't get to use my balcony. Because they have been doing all this construction I have now seen mice and plenty of insects running across my patio. I am literally over living here and cannot wait to move, because management does nothing. They are more concerned about hitting their monthly quotas than taking care of the residents. When I asked if we were going to be compensated for the inconvenience of the noise and all of the construction they looked at me and laughed pretty much. When I come home from working as a teacher in a public schools and from graduate school to see my back patio a hot mess, it's frustrating. I would not have come here if we knew for one second we were moving into a construction zone and they knew they were going to have this and they did not share this with anyone. I highly suggest do not come here ... choose any other rental location. Save yourself the money and the headache. By the way I was only moved in here for one month when the washer and dryer broke and I had to get a completely new system where I had to take my laundry back-and-forth for a week to another unit, until something was delivered here. Moreover, maintenance has now had to come twice to come and try to fix my sink that continues to leak and waste money in my water bills. I'm sure after this post I'm going to see a review from the Bailey's Crossing telling me how sorry they are over my bad experience here... Well that's exactly what you hear them say to you when you call them anytime, however they're quick to get your car towed if you bring a visitor here and stay past 12pm... and yeah they did that for my friend who visited here the first month I was living here as well. And yet there security like to kick it in the lounge in the evening as opposed to monitoring the parking lot like they're paid for. One of my favorite experiences I was here for two weeks and the gate they were attempting to a stall we're not open which made me late to work. And last but not least the elevators never work and they're constantly being shut down or my absolute favorite experience was when I was walking my dogs in my pajamas at 6 AM, just to find out that my key fob did not work, because they couldn't get it to operate correctly. Forcing me to walk in my pajamas with two dogs in the dark until somebody open the door let me in. 30 min later. So happy hunting apartments ...you've been warned about this place.... just stay far away and save your money from this overpriced dump.

I lived in these apartments for 4 years. We are an active duty military family, and we have live in the NOVA area twice before. This was our first time living in this particular property. Firstly, for military families, this is not a good property. They have extremely poor honoring of military clauses, as compared to other apartments in the area. I have lived in three other apartment buildings, one in Arlington, VA, Alexandria, VA, and Bethesda, MD- all three were managed by different corporations and have FAR better provisions in place for military families compensations. This we unfortunately learned at the end of our time there. Most importantly- incredibly poor management. We had significant issues in our apartment, from poor air conditioning during the summer weather, other residents in our hallway smoking illegal drugs, or smoking in general (despite the prohibitions, which in 4 years was never resolved). Management here has a very high turn over rate, with that in itself should be indication that this property will not have a good living experience. This I learned the hard way. The entire leasing office and management is governed with inconsistencies, lack of communication, and 0 interest in supporting the residents what so ever. Many times that I contacted the office, with important questions or requests the manager, assistant manager, or the entire leasing office would never return a simple email. This apartment at the time we rented, 2015, was far less in cost than the other options in the area, great square footage as well. The apartments look nice on the inside, and you wouldn't imagine all the maintenance issues that you will experience. They vary across the spectrum. Dare you have a maintenance issue, because the office is so overwhelmed with them, the attitude you receive is not one of understanding and resolution it is off attitude and irritation, and a response of 'deal with it'. The location is great, that's part of the reason we never moved plus the trouble of moving. But in hindsight, and if we ever come back to DC I would never consider this property. Since 2015 their rental rates have increased, while the building management, quality, and maintenance has decreased. What the property claims as improvement, justifying their increasing rental rates, is actually useless amenities that bare no benefit or quality of life for residence what so ever. Especially now with the higher rents, I would even more so say to rent elsewhere. There are many options in NOVA, and like I said I had experience with three other properties. All with more understanding with the unpredictable nature of the military life, and being in DC even more understanding and compassion considering all the military around the area, better management and resident support, and much better amenities. This is not one of them. Whether you are here for a year or more, pay a little extra and live elsewhere, nothing about this property is a selling point.

I am new - still moving in so I can't say too much yet. But Great support from Leasing staff, especially Caroline Krom! And Hello Alfred is a fabulous amenity! I feel very welcome and love the new apartment floor plan and the attention to continuous building improvements. New security fobs are coming soon! And I hear there are fitness center changes coming. No need for maintenance calls yet but I expect good service.

I've lived here for three years and seen two different management companies operate this community. I prefer the former. The leasing staff is absolutely awesome! They are always willing to help you in anyway that's within their means. The maintenance staff is good as well. They respond to tickets within 24-48 hours and generally, they're able to fix it that day. Noise is relative to you neighbors. When I first moved in, super quiet, then I got some noisy neighbors. They've since moved out so it's back to quiet. Public transportation through here is a little scarce if you're looking to go to the metro. There are two buses that will get you there, but one of the stops is a slight walk and the other, the route takes more time than you'd like. I think this is the driving factor in them keeping the shuttle service which runs well. The grounds are nice and very walkable; however, the dumpster area can use some work. It's pretty gnarly during the day when they're emptying the shoots because the gate is open. Yes, it's trash.. but it's a trashy mess behind there and you can see it from the street! Lastly, Communication. During the management switch, we had our apartments 'inspected' TWICE by Greystar, without the proper 48 hour notice. It was inconvenient and a little invasive. But, that's the trend. Same thing happened when they power washed the garage one day. 12 hour notice at best to move your car. That one was laughable. Current management lacks timely communication. Also, like I've said, I've lived here for three years and this most recent year my trash fees have increased over 100%. Trying to become this premier community (I guess), they have implemented this new trash service that picks up your trash from your door S-Th. They didn't poll or ask the community if we wanted such a service, but just gave it to us. Now, when you renew your lease, $18 is added for the service. Most people who have lived here through the management change don't even want the service but we're forced to pay for it. Also, the guy that picks the trash up just tosses the bin against the walls, and doesn't care at all that he's making noise or damaging property. Bailey's is nice and I like my apartment; however, things can use some improvement.

We have lived here for over 3 years and love the apartment complex. It's super dog friendly and has a friendly and helpful staff (we love Jessie the assistant manager). I think they currently got a new maintenance team that has been amazing and super fast at fixing things. Especially important when your AC goes out in the summer.

This is my second year living here and I just extended my lease to 14 months, and very pleased to call Bailey's Crossing home! I also work from home so I am here ALL the time! While luxury apartment complexes do share some of the same amenities and apartment features, what really makes a difference is the SERVICE! A team you can count on to make your problems their concern! A big thank you to Patrick, Robert, Chelsey and especially to Jessie for the superb work! They also encourage community spirit by organizing great events for the residents to enjoy! This community is very clean, very pet friendly, conveniently located, very safe, and overall excellent to live in! Highly recommend!

I spent a lot of time looking for a reasonably priced apartment with the best floor plan and maximum square footage for the price. I was moving from out of state, sight unseen. I saw Bailey's Crossing and noticed that it didn't get very high reviews, this concerned me but I am so glad I chose to live here. The staff are friendly and helpful and work orders are completed quickly if not same day. One of the rooms didn't have any lighting and my roommate bought a light fixture/fan they installed it for her without any issues. We are in a two bedroom and the master and second bedroom are similar size both with large bathrooms and walk-in closets. This was a big deal when looking for a place, most of the other places I looked at the mater was significantly larger than the second bedroom. We are very pleased with Bailey's Crossing. The location is also hard to beat - 10 mins to Old Town Alexandria, 15 mins to DC, 15 mins to Clarendon.
