The management is amazing. I'm always interacted with when seen by anyone on the staff. Their friendly attitude makes living here very nice. I searched for 10 days going to about 15 different apartment complexes and my search always led me back to the Elms at Kingstowne.

This apartment has good value. The appliances are all updated, the maintenance staff is incredible, the office staff is responsive and attentive, and the location is good in that it is close to tons of shopping, restaurants, parks, schools, etc.

So far I am very happy with the apartment and location. I have been living in apartments for the past 10 or so years and this is by far the best kept community. The staff is very professional and approachable. There was one small item that needed to be addressed upon move-in and it was handled within 48 hours.

The tour of the community was great! Mia was very helpful and answered all our questions. We have only lived here a short time, but so far we are very happy with everything. They have an on site dog park, a gym, a pool. I also love the fact that they really police up their trash. No trash is left lying around outdoors so the community is very clean and well kept.

-----------, in response to your reply to my previous posting, I can tell you that there is abuse of entrance to residents' apartments by the Elms' employees and that's their culture here. I also can tell you that most customers don't like ---. She is very disrespectful to customers and a liar. The manager is also very unprofessional and unresponsive. They pick and choose who to be nice to or who to be nasty to. If you read a nice posting, most of the time it is because they have given some type of incentive to someone and then asked them to post a nice review. It's very hypocritical. I have lived in many places and countries and this is one of the worst places I've ever rented. Location is good but that is the only thing. Be your own judge after you read my posting. One month after I moving in, I had many damages done to my car. The parking spaces are very tight when compared with other apartment rentals. I also noticed employees getting in my apartment without any giving notice and I also noticed things missing. The apartments are old and with a lot of hidden issues even though they renovated the apartments with cheap materials. Maintenance doesn't fix things correctly since they hired people who are not certified and do shoddy work. In addition, the people they hire most likely don't have background checks. Washers and dryers are old and they don't fix problems correctly or replace them with new and efficient ones. Walls in the apartment are very thin and you can hear your neighbors clearly and you have no privacy. Maintenance, cleaning personal, and office staff members can enter your apartment any time without getting your notice as I have seen them do many times. On top of that, sometimes they give you notice of entering your apartment every quarter to change the air filter and do maintenance when most tenants are at work. Your privacy and space are constantly invaded. If you have cameras, you might have some of their employees tampering with your surveillance. Your stuff is not safe here and they will make sure you have rental insurance because they know their staff and subcontractors could steal from you and they don't want any responsibility. Also, when you address any issues to the assistant manager or manager, they never apologize for any wrong doing or inefficiencies. Also, sometimes they don't even respond to your e-mails and sometimes they lie through their teeth. They are very dishonest people and you can't trust them. They try at all cost to protect their business and make money. They don't truly care about the people living in the apartments. Also, the assistant manager, the cleaning lady, and some of the maintenance personal ----------------------, so no wonder who is getting into people's apartments when no one is watching and things get stolen. Furthermore, when it is time to renew your rent they increase the rent and it's not worth it to pay so much for what you get. It has been a living hell living at the Elms and I have lived in at least more than 25 places in my entire life. Other people in the apartments have also experienced issues at this complex. Don't trust the good ratings as I made the mistake myself when I decided to rent from them.

So far..so good. My apartment is close to everywhere I need to shop. It is spacious and deels new. Parking is a breeze and I find it convenient to be able to take my trash out at any time. My washer and dryer is such a delifhtful bonus. I definitely feel that this is an apartment home. The bedrooms are spacious and large comfortable spaces.

Was a member of the military so I've seen and experienced a few apartments in my career. The Elms has to be the best I've lived in. You will always see the head maintenance man picking up trash in the mornings and the other maintenance personnel are just as hardworking and friendly. They salt and shovel the sidewalks and in front of the doors in the wintertime when it snows and they are quick to address any issues with the apartments themselves. The staff are friendly and they always host gatherings on the regular that are fun for all ages (movie nights for kids, blood drives, breast cancer awareness party, pool parties, etc.). They will also send out notices on your door and through email if the maintenance crew will be coming by to do routine checks or to notify about any inclement weather and what to do in case. Hayfield High School is right down the road and I've never had noise trouble with kids or Hayfield Rd as a whole. They have pet posts where you can get doggie waste bags and throw them away at the pet post trash cans and the fellow residents are good about picking up after their dogs. It is close to a few restaurants (IHOP and Chili's are less than 5 minutes away walking). It's close to multiple grocery stores (Shoppers, Safeway, Giant, Wegman's). Movie theater down the street on Manchester Ave. Fort Belvoir and Coast Guard Base TISCOM are nearby for short commutes. Kingsview Animal is right up the street for your Vet pet needs along with a Pet Supplies Plus. The major shopping mall, Springfield Shopping Mall, is about 10 minutes away. The Elms is also close by the Franconia-Springfield Metro stop. The Elms has won multiple awards for how well it's doing and it certainly reflected it when I was there. I do recommend.

So far the staff is extremely helpful and professional. The apartment itself is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The area in the complex is as well. It is very close to Hayfield Secondary school which is a huge plus for my family. I would recommend to anyone.

Convenient to public transportation, dining, and entertainment. Quiet neighborhood and the maintenance staff is extremely responsive to any work order submitted. Gym facility is available but times of operation are minimal.

The community is close to several areas with convenient banking, food stores, entertainment theaters, restaurants, and pools. The access roads are relatively unencumbered with heavy traffic. The grounds of the living areas are immaculately maintained. The area is relatively quiet. Adequate parking is available close to all apartment areas. Apartment front doors open to breeze ways which provide protection from rain. Problems requiring maintenance are easy to communicate to management and are promptly satisfied with quality work. Metro is available within a mile of the apartments and there is easy access to interstate 95.

The apartment complex is very good and well kept. The amenities (pool, exercises equipment, etc.) are well kept. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. The other residents are pleasant. There is plenty of parking.

The Staff in the Leasing Office were exceptional and took great pride in presenting the community to soon to be new tenants. The appearance and convenience of this community are excellent. I was surprsed how efficient receiving a package at the leasing office was; received an email notification when it arrived and was able to pick it up.

I lived at the Elms of Kingstowne for over 8 years. The location is great. It's a safe area to walk around during the day and at night. Maintenance requests are addressed quickly. The office staff is very courteous and helpful. The grounds always look good. In my time there, my neighbors were mostly quiet. You can hear road noise from Hayfield Rd, but it never bothered me. They recently replaced the windows and HVAC units so they're new. I just recently moved out only because I needed to move closer to my new job location.

We moved here just recently and had to set up everything over the the phone, the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. When we arrived we were positively surprised, the apartments are located in a beautiful and safe neighborhood and you have everything you need close by. The apartment itself is renovated and beautiful. Also a big plus was that they accept big dogs, which was very challenging to find.

Eaton Square is a great quiet safe community. The apartments size and features are terrific for the price. The location is also very convenient. You really are in a prime location for an area that is pretty difficult to get around during certain hours of the day.

The initial reaction to entering the secluded community was, in a word, thrilling. The forestry surrounding the garden-style neighborhood felt like a getaway from the chaos of the DC Metro Area lifestyle. Although all of Kingstowne is a great area to live in, this is the type of place you would never second guess to to call your home.
