Community is great, the maintenance team genuinely seems to care about their work and takes it seriously (as opposed to other apartments in the Alexandria area), and the neighborhood has some of the top rated public schools in the area. Not to mention the short drive to other areas (within a 20 minutes drive to DC, Fairfax, Arlington, and Springfield).

This is a very convenient and well kept apartment home. I do not hear noise from my neighbors and I feel very safe. The appliances are a little dated and the heat/air unit is loud, but otherwise it is great.

Great community, quiet area but with wonderful access to shopping close by. We've been here for almost 2 years and have loved it. Our apartment opens up to this huge back grass area for my dog to run around, when everything dies there is also a pretty cool "nature" walk you can do down behind the dog park. Very happy here.

Great apartments! Staff is very responsive and friendly. The community is welcoming and feels like home. The location is great as well. You are close to schools, stores, restaurants and parks. This is the best apartment complex I have ever lived in.

Nice place, good staff. Apartment rent is high in general. I was informed by a neighbor who moved in in 2020 that they pay less rent for a bigger place. Also I have unfinished paint work that was never completed from a renovation two or three years ago. Around nd the bathroom sink and vanity. That renovation took more than 14 days and I was reimbursed $500 which is $35 a day. I was allowed to stay during the renovation but the team renovating my apartment flooded my apartment when they renovated the neighbor above me and flooded the neighbor below me when they worked on my place.

This community gives a real sense of neighborhood, with residents of all ages. It is peaceful here in the country atmosphere and I feel very safe. I especially love that it is not surrounded by other building.

Friendly, clean, safe. Staff knowledgeable , efficient, and friendly. Area well lit. Any questions are answered by staff in a very quick time frame. I am happy that there are window coverings included, Enjoy watching all the dogs going for walks from my window.

The leasing agent, Dawn Webster, was welcoming and professional. She listened carefully to what we were looking for and effectively explained the strength of the staff at the Elms. She followed up and and answered our questions. She gave us a good orientation of the property and responded to our many needs as we moved in to our apartment. The support staff helped us multiple times get deliveries up to out second floor location. Our immediate need for minor tweaking of small things that needed attention were quickly taken care of. An example was a bath tub stopper that wouldn't work properly. The maintenance personell shared "he loved his job". When I needed help faxing or copying documents, the office staff helped me. We have been residents of The Elms for almost two weeks, and every day we are sure we made a good choice!

The Elms @ Kingstowne is a great community, the staff are very friendly I really enjoy living in here, they're responding in timely manner. I also like the location very close to the mall shopping center, about 2 miles to get into l-95 and 395.

I don't like this place at all, but I will start with positives as they are far fewer than the negatives. The location is good with easy access to highways, stores, restaurants - some within walking distance. Management is generally nice and helpful. Negatives: This place is a dump. It looks nice from the street and they try to keep the part that people see looking nice, but it's all window dressing. There is ZERO soundproofing between your neighbors and outside. I live on ground level. I hear every single step above me and unfortunately, this person must never sleep as they walk around all night. It's not just that I hear it, but lamps and other things rattle from the vibration from upstairs. If the person above me is in his bathroom at the same time as me, I can hear him urinating - it is totally disgusting! And when people are walking their dogs outside or talking on their phones, I can hear them like they are in my living room. I can smell the food the person upstairs cooks - again super gross. I constantly smell weed and cigarettes in my apartment and I don't partake in either one of those things. Also they never clean up outside except for the main level (since it's visible). If you live on any other level than the main level, be prepared for trash to end up on the ground outside your apartment for a very long time before any one will pick it up. At these prices, they should have someone doing this at least once a week, which is not happening. The parking itself is OK in that there are enough spaces but the spaces are pretty small and a lot of people clearly don't know how to park and they don't respect other people's vehicles. I had hardly any door dings before and now my car is littered with them the short time I've been here. The pool is never clean and neither is the pool area. It is always full of leaves, etc. I'm not sure what the life guard actually does because it seems like this should be his job but he spends all of his time talking on his cell phone. I'm over this place and can't wait to get out of here.

Nice community with close access to Kingstowne Town Center, Springfield Mall, and the Franconia-Springfield Metro. Quiet area in a nice garden style complex with very competitive rent/market value to competing areas over a variety of floor plans. The office/maintenance staff is fantastic and sponsor many community events. No apartment complex is perfect; however, I would highly recommend this community to families who prefer a quiet suburban environment within very close distance to several amenities in the Kingstown/Springfield area.

Super quiet neighborhood. Excellent walking/running paths that go on for miles, also great for dogs. Close to several major grocery stores and now near by an Amazon Fresh! Central location to almost all stores and fast food. Very positive experience living here.

This community is amazing. The management staff is so helpful and kind. We had one issue is noise and management handled it extremely fast and no other issues have happen. Maintenance is amazing and are always out taking care of the community and the apartments. All the neighbors are great and this is a fantastic place to live.

This has been one of the best communities I've lived in. The neighborhood is clean, safe, friendly, and quiet. Office staff and maintenance are kind and professional. The area is in a great location and the apartments are in good condition. Ive lived here for a few years and would like to continue to live here. It's costly, but a peaceful, safe, and cozy community has been worth it for me.
